  1. The account merge worked fine for me. I'm not happy about Bricklink being run by Lego in general, but many sellers have already moved to Brickowl and other sites.
  2. It works fine for me. I used to post there way back in the day, it was the original hub for Lego discussion and there wasn't really any other place to discuss lego until Eurobricks in mid 2000s. The set database is all on Brickset now, but records of that old discussion of lego is still useful.
  3. Yes it's greebling but could be viewed as a heatsink or solar panel.
  4. Classic Space exploration truck with an array of internal lab equipment https://www.flickr.com/photos/141514326@N04/albums/72177720329452601
  5. Great cockpit design with the aquazone panels on opposite sides, took me a minute to see how you did it.
  6. Thanks all! I wanted to use that cockpit specifically, it's only used in Aquaraiders but always looked very Blacktron to me.

  8. I picked up this game, it's only a few dollars on instant gaming. It was not that well received by reviewers but I really liked the first Lego Movie game and the way the entire world was built out Lego. It's the only Lego game like that and is great for moc inspiration.
  9. Yes, a few midsize sets had very good B models too. I like the ones in 8425 and 8295, and for 8284 the A and B models were switched around in some countries. The duck looks awesome, I never saw it before. I don't have that set but will have to try building it.
  10. I just built the crane B model for 8094, so thought I would bump this thread. A few B models for the largest sets were amazing but most were forgettable. I can see why they stopped making them after the growth of Rebrickable and custom moc instructions being much more common now. Many of them were good but felt like inferior versions of the main model, so there wasn't much reason to keep it built. I often built the B model several years later with spare parts not from the same set. My favorite ones are in 8868, 8480, 9396, 8094, 8485, 8425 and 8458. I especially like the ones where they introduced new and very different functionality like 8868 or 8485. The Universal sets also had good ones but sometimes had no clear main model to begin with.
  11. That would be great to see. To be honest M:Tron might be a little too obscure today to get much traction on Ideas, but I can certainly try putting it up.
  12. As you can probably tell it's a beefed up version of the old Particle Ionizer. The intermeshing rotors are geared together, they are used in a few real helicopters and the 9396 alternate model.
  13. Thanks, these look really nice, like a black ops MTron team.
  14. https://www.flickr.com/photos/141514326@N04/albums/72177720318424460/with/53830085412/ The M-95 Particle Incinerator is an M:Tron atmospheric gunship with intermeshing rotors and rear engines for lateral thrust.
  15. That is an epic army. I like the huge battleship in the back as well, reminds me of 40k imperial ships. Do you have a closer picture of the black MTron guys in the back?
