LEGO is definately doing things differently this time around. These new mechs look to be somewhere in between the size of a bigger 06 mech and the smaller mechs. Perfect size actually! The weapons are definitely more original except the zamor launcher. LEGO loves re-using ideas from other themes and it drives me crazy!!! *n* But other then that 07 is looking pretty good!

MOCs will do just fine. Strategic fleet combat is just what it sounds like. Commanding fleets of miniature spacecraft. EXO-CHAMP has a few MOCs that would fit in just fine. I'll PM you guys the rules when I'm done. I'm pretty close and I'm just working out some issues and cleaning things up.

Yeah, gold would be great. Hand over any treasure maps you're hiding too! :-D Welcome to EB, again, er, I'll stop now... X-D

Hi everyone, I'm really happy we have a wargaming forum to put this in now. Thanks Jipay and everyone else who was involved (I'm looking at YOU EXO-CHAMP!) As some of you already know, my first internet-released wargame Brick Commander is on it's way and I am in need of playtesters! Anyone who's interested, reply and I will send you a copy of the rulles as soon as I finish them. All I need is your thoughts on the game. For those of you who have NO idea what I'm talking about, Brick Commander will be a LEGO tabletop wargame that allows you to command any army you can build. I'm using the game as a "base" for rule supplements. The base rules will give you basic game mechanics and the expansions/supplements will provide a context in which to use the rules (i.e. Brick Commander: Space Wars will allow the construction of space craft and include space-specific units and weapons.) If I tried to incorporate all the possible settings in which you could play a game (pirates, space etc...) the rulebook would be HUGE! I hope to have one of these supplements out for EVERY possible wargaming setting, including things like mech warfare, strategic fleet combat and pirates! You will also be able to play the game just using a core rules, but there are no features specific to any type of combat and everything is generic (i.e. a level 2 rifle instead of a flintlock rifle in the pirate supplement.) I won't have any supplements done by the time I need playtesters, but if you want to test a specific one just PM me and ask. Here's a list of all planned supplements, I don't have names yet. Space Pirates Mech/exoforce Medieval/castle Strategic Fleet combat

LEVEL, a Swedish gaming magazine, has published a Halo 3 article! Bungie has confirmed that they showed off multiplayer gameplay to a few gaming magazines and EGM (www.1up.com) has announced that their next issue will feature Halo 3 as well. Check out all the detials @ my Windows live space! http://chrisjung.spaces.live.com So what do you guys think, are any of you going to buy a 360 just for Halo, are any current 360 owners planning on getting it?

if you played the game the way it is now, you would be able to use your 17" battleship if you wanted as a capital ship/flagship for your fleet but it would take a lot of guys to operate it. You could play on either the table or the floor! Movement and ranges vary from ship to ship and weapon to weapon but an average cruiser would move somewhere in the 4-5 inches range. It varies from ship to ship, some ships have a higher top speed but others accellerate a lot faster. Remember it's space so your ship will keep moving unless you use reverse thrusters to stop it. The ships are based on class (destroyer, cruiser, frigate etc...) and are then armed any way you see fit. They come with the minimum crew but you can add more to increase efficiency aboard the ship. Ships can also have up to six wings of fighters/bombers that can be deployed to defend the ship, another ship or attack the enemy. Your battleship would probably be used as a heavy carrier with the max fighter wings and refit stations for other ships. You could easily equip it with some cheap long range missiles and it could hang back and protect the fleet.

Nice figs, It's good to see people staying true to the brick and not adding decals to their minfigs. Gives the old creative juices a workout ;-) btw, I LOVE afroman
