lol, like most LEGO siege engines, it moves itself with magic :-P I was trying to figure out how to get the Ofnir dragon pulling it, but I couldn't find any of my extra chains :-(
-
@phred - Due to the size of the wheels, it's pretty sturdy, but it is a bit tall :-/

360 for me, It's got over 100 games, all in HD, with online support so I can hang out with my friend AND play at the same time. Add in video marketplace, XNA game studios (which I'm going to get soon), a lower price than PS3... and you have a great game system!

My turn! Hi, my name's Chris (a.k.a Darth Ewok) and I recently turned 15. I've been a LEGO fan for a long time and I am an evil teddy bear with a lightsaber. ;-) Yeah.

Sorry, I think every single Galidor set beat it to the title :-P but it does look like a fruit, kinda... :-/

Hey guys, I've decided to post my latest MOC (and my first Viking one *sweet* ) This is the Viking War Wagon! Used to carry lots of vikings to lots of places! It has a mounted balista, space for spear/axe throwers, extra weapons, and spikes all over it to protect it from dragons. Hope you like it :-) Edit: OMG that pic was big, it's smaller in my brickshelf gallery :-/ http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_001.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_002.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_003.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_005.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_006.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_007.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_008.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_010.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_011.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...arwagon_016.jpg CHARGE!!!!!!!!! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...agon/charge.jpg RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ChrisJ12...gon/runaway.jpg

You don't, the link on the nav bar leads to an invision board. :-P

Freewebs was the only site that seemed to be up, and it's got some pretty good tools too. How do you know it's a cool game if I haven't posted the rules yet? :-P I'll unlock the forums for you :-)
-
The official Minifig Wars (I renamed it) website is now up and running and I should have the rules up soon! There's only a FAQ page and a link to the forums for now. I locked the forums so I can finished them, but if any of you guys feel like registering, just tell me and I'll unlock them.

I've decided to use the more complicated one, and I'm really close to finishing it!!!! :-)

Thanks guys! *sweet* I did get some LEGO for my birthday (vikings) and a bunch more for X-mas, so I'm happy!

What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
Darth_Ewok replied to Brainbox's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My Parents are fine with it, but it's obvious they would rather have me doing something else. :-/ My sister loves it *sweet* One of my friends is also a LEGO fan, but the rest don't know. I'm right in that age range between 12 and 18 that someone mentioned earlier :-| -
Okay, I've been working on my wargame and I'm almost done with the fleet one but I have hit a dead end. What do I do about movement? Originally, it was very simple: you moved as far as you wanted within the ships movement rate. Now, I want to take a more complex approach: Instead of just moving, you can accelerate/decelerate your ship. The ship will maintain it's speed in the same direction unless you change it's course, allowing you to turn your ship all the way around and fly backwards (something that is done in many sci-fi tv shows and movies.) Which one do you guys like better? Keep in mind that I am aiming for a simulation of commanding a fleet and not just a simple wargame. It's up to you...

So my friend walked into a Best Buy, and bought a PS3

Halo 3 isn't, but that's all we have :-( I don't know about alone in the dark. But everything else is totally in game. I have Gears of war and it looks just like that *sweet* -

Thrawn is right. I've played the PS3 and it's not as good looking as the 360. The 360 only has the lead by a little, mostly because it's into its 2nd generation of games and devs know the hardware better but it will always have that advantage. Gears of War (Xbox360 Exclusive) Alan Wake (Xbox360 Exclusive) Too Human (Xbox360 Exclusive) GRAW/GRAW2 (Xbox360 Exclusive) Alone in the Dark (Xbox360 Exclusive) Halo 3 (Xbox360 Exclusive) Blue Dragon (Xbox360 Exclusive) I can get more if you want X-D -
Looks good so far! I'm still working my tail off on my wargame (when I'm not doing homework :-( ) and should have it done soon.

X-D closed for the season...

I love em, the tank is a bit odd for them though. It does appeal to the target audience like Admiral Ravensburg said...

My problem with the Wii is the display. The Wii doesn't do above 480p and our HDTV supports up to 1080i so 480p looks very blurry and pixelated :-( Other then that it's an awesome looking console, but I'll stick with my Xbox360 *goes back to gears of war* X-D

cool, I'm working as fast as I can!
