  1. Oh damn, i wanted to make a review of that, but i still haven't got that baby. cry_happy: : Great review anyway, looking forward to receive it this week if amazon speeds a bit up.
  2. WOW, a sealed BSB, am i dreaming? Unfortunately WAY too expensive once again
  3. Woh, thanks a lot for this amazing review! I think this would be the set i want the most from all, one of the greatest castle sets ever released, if not the best. I want it so bad But there's one thing i want to find out forever, what is the golden trumpet piece supposed to be? is it actually a trumpet for the blacksmith's music likes, or is it something other?
  4. I would love to see a review, go ahead if yu open the box! I sassume there are quite many employees... *goes to ebay checking the prices* Here's the cheapest (yet) price i found: http://cgi.ebay.at/Lego-No-4999-LIMITED-ED...p3286.m63.l1177 It still runs 2 days, but there's hope it could go away for less than 300 euros...
  5. I understand that many poeple would have wanted a horse, i also think it would be cool, but there is no way such things fit in a window of an advent calender. Think about that. Even if a horse would fit in, it would have needed one whole window for it's own, so i rather don't have a horse than miss some of all the other cool accessoires or even one of the figs.
  6. Oh shame on me. I thought i would ever be one of those people that re-post something but now it happened
  7. Has anybody got more information about this? It looks a bit strange (fake?) to me, the box art is very unusual but it could be preliminary. If it's real, i would have rather liked to have a minifig sized rig, though http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3428971
  8. Thanks for this review, this is one theme i really would like to own all sets of it, but actually i have exactly none of it. I always liked diver-themed stuff in Lego since i was a child, maybe because my grandpa was a professional diver back in the days and i was shown many underwater photos when i was little. Would be great if TLG would come up with something like that again
  9. I remember the inxtructions already beeing up a few weeks ago, but they have been taken off again shortly after that. Now that they are online again that's a good sign maybe!
  10. Check out this review by legopaul i found on Brickshelf
  11. That looks like one of those big strange recycle trucks from new york city, i like it!
  12. Finally! I'll take a look at those as i'm really interested in the building techniques used on the cars. Do you happen to know if the instructions for the taj mahal also are already online?
  13. First that, and who says that there aren't gonna be released more sets later?
  14. Which embleme should he wear else? There are only crownies in the human faction, and i don't think orcs have jesters
  15. You forgot me, i love these sets!
  16. I really can't wait to get my hands on that, those details are so neat So, i think it's decided now that i'm not going to be able to wait until christmas, but tear it open immediately as i get it A shame that amazon won't ship it before september 22nd
  17. This has nothing to do with mars mission or space in general. It's a whole different stand alone theme and i think more people will like it than most of you think at the moment.
  18. That depends all on everybody's personal opinions. I personally do think purple ist the most ugly color that has ever been invented, if in lego or in real life. I could puke if i just saw something made of purple. And how can you tell if something is <insert that tiresome argument> from these pictures? I'm sure once we have bette rones or the instructions are up it will look a lot different. You can't even tell which pieces are used exactly from the pictures we got yet.
  19. I like the storyline, it's not as much sci-fi as rock raiders were. The set names also sound cool, i can't wait to finally see better pictures of the sets. I will at least pick up the biggest one. Edit: oh, i oversaw the link with the pictures, thank you very much! Now i can say they look incredible, and i'll buy def. more than one
  20. I also got my Club Magazine yesterday, and i think i might have managed to make a better picture of the "monsters", by using much light: Click to enlarge. Actually, these look pretty fine to me now!
  21. thanks for the review, but i've got 2 things to say: First, the part about beeing realistic or not..think about that this is a DWARVE'S Mine, so realistic is a contradiction in itself. And the second thing is, you put on all the beards with the backside on the front.
  22. I find it kinda unfair that only employees get it, who mostly won't need it, while real lego fans like us will have to pay horror prices on ebay for it.
  23. Thanks for this great review TheBrickster! This is one set which is on the top of my wishlist, and i really wish i'll get my hands on it someday. I voted outstanding, even if for me it's the second best gas station ever, only beaten by the new one.
  24. I just found this folder on brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=342015 Can anybody tell me if the loose pieces that are everywhere standing around are all leftovers? If yes, wow!
  25. Thanks very much, definitely a must have for me now! Looking forward to the rest of the review, especially to see what's inside the garage.
