Thanks KhoRne! Actually the wedge doesn't get in the way at all, and the cockpit perfectly passes by it
-
Wow! What an amazingly simple solution that yields amazingly impressive results! Thanks for sharing this, it's a mod I'll definitely have to make! This is fairly impressive as well! Beautiful :'-)
-
If they're only going for $100 I might too... But this means I can start Buying the SW sets if I see them, I was worried they wouldn't start being put in until July...
-
This was actually talked about a bit in classic-castle, and I think mentioned here. Some people already have them, and as you can see they skeleton's hands are YELLOW. WTF Lego? How lazy can you be? >:-( Cheap...to give a skeleton yellow hands? And his torso isn't blank, it's a viking torso! *wacko* It's just all messed up
-
Actually there's a topic about this already, but it's in the History forum! So I'll move it here and merge these two topics

Well, the weird gems seem to prevent that...I wonder if they're supposed to fit in the chest of the aliens, which is why they're harvested?

Exclusive EB Review: 7093 - Skeleton Tower

That's a good point Brickster. I figured it was just my set had a problem with the mold being off, if I raise it all the way it stops really going down when the bridge is laying flat (when it should be angled down a bit). Another problem I guess...but at least you finally have the wizard! X-D -

:-D :-D I didn't even see that! There's some great SW fanservice in there. "We can't take that, it's not from this Episode!" and of course "Lucasfilm is going to have a bad feeling about this" X-D
-
Hey, I fixed your picture. Your ship is nice! It reminds me of something from Starfox :-)
-
Whoops, yes, I meant Samurai *wacko* It's been a crazy day, okay? :-P His work is famous
-
Hm, I'm confused though. Didn't Piranha say his friend had the set already, and the droid wasn't it?
-
Well, by "raised baseplate" I meant like in this set However it was white with transblue panels and really tall...can't find it on peeron though Ah well, there have been so many, you're right. Listing them all could have made it impossible :-D
-
This is what I know is standard on all magnet figs: -Everything is removable except the hips from the torso -The legs are the only parts that have the magnets, and they can be removed and swapped in for normal legs Hope this helps!
-
It's nice, but it needs a little more, right now it's just a baseplate with two figs :-P Try to build maybe some of those mushroom-like computer clusters that Luke was hiding under until Vader brought up Leia. Maybe some stairs, and a lot of greebles X-D Overall not a bad work for your first "big" :-D I can't wait to see more from you! Edit: oops, I just realized! I'll move this to the Star Wars subforum. If you want this in the MOC forum instead just let me know and I'll put it there
-
What about the spyruis one, or the original CS one with the raised baseplate? Mine would go to the spyruis one though for sentimental reasons
-
That's actually the plan! I have a fun little cruiser in the works that could hold 6 of these with a little room to spare :-) I know a lot of people don't like the trans-blue tiles for engines, but I dunno, I kinda like it in this case. I guess all personal preference here :-P Well, I'm all for some greebs, however if you saw this in person you'd see why I can't really. Due to the overlap of the 1x3 covering pieces (I wish I knew what they were called), they don't permit for even a 1x1 plate to fit there, the most I could do would be to put a few 1x1 round plates inbetween the studs. Or I could fit ONE 1x2 tile on the studs directly in front of the engine pods, but that would look awkward I think with just that one bit of greeb I know this is a bit of blasphemy, but due to the construction a lot of studs are showing, and since I can't get rid of them all, I decided to show as many as possible to keep it uniform in design. that's why the pod-coverings are the angular pieces with two studs on top, as opposed to the smooth piece used originally, to try to keep the motif uniform. That's an idea, I'll definitely have to give that a try in three months when I'm around my bricks again. Thanks for all your advice, xenologer! And you're not xeno from CS are ya? :-P
-
However since they clearly have good relations with LFL (three videogames now, a long-running theme, various spin-off items, etc.) they'd be much more likely to accept a license if offered, rather than another one that they'd have to invest in. Hell, Lucas might have done it for advertisement and given them a break on the licensing fees, who knows? But it's much more plausible.
-
Well this sounds like something that could definitely be very promising if it's true. For the moment I'm not holding my breath, but I'm not ruling it out as a possibility
-
Hm, I guess so, though since this topic is about the American Revolution I figured it would go in History, but Mister Phes knows what he's doing :-P Just curious about why, thanks
-
Hm, Mister Phes I'm just curious why this is in Pirate MOCs? Wouldn't it belong in the history forum? There could always be some pirate aspect I'm missing, so that's why I ask

My new fighter (showcased in this topic) is my entry! Here's the 3/4 view Apologies for the glare, I can take new ones if you need This is the Imperial PV2 fighter. Meant to be mass-produced, these fighters don't carry anything expensive like missiles, just lives. Despite appearance, they're actually fairly sturdy, and have average speed and firepower (three light laser cannons). The design is new, and likely to be a big "hit" among the rebels.

Hi again! I recently showed my redesign of the Imperial Light Assault Droid, and now it's time to show my re-vamp of the fighter! Here's the overall shot: Sorry for the brightness, no idea how THAT happened... Anyway I used xenologger's brilliant advice on how to strengthen the connection, using 1x2 plates, so thanks! I also revamped the design when I was trying to figure out how to fix the problem of that "pod" up front that held the bubble screen in place. Everyone said "it ruins the design, get rid of it!" but one very helpful soul, by the name of xeno (same person?) from CS suggested the following: What a brilliant idea! however instead of just adding one gunpod to the bottom, I decided to fill the ship with them, taking advantage of the unique situation of having studs available from so many angles! I put four engine pods on the back, and a trio of light laser pods on the front. I know the engines are kind of boring, but this is supposed to be a cheap fighter, it doesn't need super powerful engines of weapons, also, nothing else would really fit in something that size :-$ A bit of last-minute inspiration helped me greeble up the back a bit, though I'm still not 100% sold on it, it's surprisingly sturdy Here's how the back is connected The pilot's seat slips in through the front, using the bar to go through the axle hole of the 2x2 white plate with round bar. This does allow for the pilot to rotate 360 degrees, so he can keep steady, however several complains have led to this feature being disabled. It's actually much more disorienting than you'd think to have the ship re-orient, but not you! Here's the front without the pilot's seat Final shot of a swoosh (sorry, no naked swooshing this time) It's just so fun to swoosh, I'm infinitely more pleased with this than the first version. It's much sturdier and much more swooshable. I need to thank everyone who gave criticism and advice! And of course, more criticism is always welcome :-)

What "secret"? Why couldn't you simply link him to the site so he could look around himself if he needed any more of that particular sprite? And you had to go to the lengths to download the image and upload it, so he couldn't even find out via the picture link. We try to help each other, not "impress" with "sources". You seem to have some problem with doing that... And please...no more "dis" and "dat" and all that other stuff |-/
