how 'bout a UCS theme: "the 7 wonders of the world"?, things like the Pyramid, Babylon, Tower of Alexandria,... Have it in several series: series 1: "the 7 wonders of the world" series 2: "wonders of the 19/20th century" I would definitly go for that ;)

I've seen that the clone wars cartoon is coming out in DVD at the end of the month, yeahhhh ;) When I was asking for the air date, I meant in the US, because is more or less like Belgium for that matter. So, approximately 1 year after the air date in the US, they will issue the DVD and BINGO, we'll have it before its even aired in Europe *satis*

mister_phes, I still think that this Dino theme is attractive to kids, bad dinos, need alpha team to kick their ugly coloured face ;) I really don't like this line (and that's an understatment). Maybe TLC should take some Playmobil ideas (maybe like they did for the Vikings), they really do have nice sets. Actually I hope TLC would do a lot of similar sets. BTW, yes I read your thread: I should definitly change your title to "self promoting threads" :-D :-D :P

mister_phes, I really agree with you, however: 1) Those huge Dinos are not BPPs, they are just too big ;) (might need another acronym: BUA - Big Useless Animal :-D ) 2) Given TLC's financial situation and the Kids liking of Dinos, why not after all??? If it pushes TLC, could this really hurt us??? (maybe considering BPPs...)

True but compare the numbers of carton stands in shops to the number of boxes sold. Also, concerning packaging, they could reduce expenses with those expensive Bionicle and mini cars plastic containers

good point... it probably has to do with visibility, once the boxes are in the shops. Sometimes, you really have to look in a shop to find them. You can arrange that with better in-shop visibility: stands, posters of the sets... And you always have internet for pics ;) Also with the newer City sets, there are no alternate models on the back. we'll ask the people of lego in billund... how 'bout that for an answer? :P That would definitly put an end to speculations ;)

i think most people will be looking for fighter craft, defensive structures,... this means there will be violence ... people need action based themes... don't ask me why, i'd go for an exploration theme as well, but a majority wants to fight I know, its another stupid trend. I would go for "violent" themes if violence is a real added value as in historical themes. For other sets I would go for discoveries, adventures. TLC did not release gang sets for their City, but a lot of police :'( I want more shops, stands, marinas, houses, than police stations ;)
