  1. snefroe1, Great, give me please an update on this trip. My best friend lives in London, so I might go there sometimes ;) If, Windsor is not far, I'll have to go to a PAB ;)
  2. Thanks for the great pic Lord Vader ;) G, i'm shocked :-D I thought Anakin's face would be more burnt ;)
  3. Not really Lord Vader, the only Mocs I found where directly linked to Robotech ;) I might, if I have the pieces do a ship that ressembles it but in SW universe: an O-Wing or a Tie ;) EDIT: Also the 3 part shuttle can be quite challenging (Dardos, Orbos & Vires)
  4. Actually where is Legoland Windsor situated?? Is it far from London??
  5. Darn boss *devil* I'm sure you'll come to the next one ;) BTW, can't you deal something with of the two others????
  6. Well I managed to take 1 day off (off my vacations off course), can't you do the same???
  7. snefroe1, the address is: http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/ I don't think they have many more ships, these are taken from Rage of the Wookies. I'll have to check this later. Hope this helps ;)
  8. snefroe1, He, he, Yes I'm keeping myself busy as you can see ;) My list is far from being exhaustive: it lacks Capitaine Flamm, Robotech, Space Adventure Cobra... TLC will probably never make those, thats fore sure, but I disagree with you on your notion of "way too old" and "too complex". Way too old with what criteria: the only existing space ships are the US, France and Russia space programs, all the rest is PURE imagination. As those ships do not exist, how can they be too old. I would agree that they corresponded to a period, but they do not have the 80's feel too much. I disagree also on the too complex: SW ships are really more complex in the movies than their Lego interpretation - how many AFOLs, including myself, feels the ROTS sets need modification??? As I already said, you can decline the lines. For example, the Arcadia, or the Death Shadow would come out as UCS, and the smaller ships as SYSTEM ;)
  9. OK guys here it goes for the fantastic animation space links ;) However, even if you're not a Japanimation/Manga fan, please go and check those links: I have put for every great Japanimation links to characters and space ships. Also, such a licence (lincenses) would be quite cheap because those animations date from late 70s/mid 80s Feel free to comment those ideas ;) I'll start with Goldorak (Grendizer) Characters: http://www.vex.net/~guru/goldorak/goldora2.htm Ships: http://www.vex.net/~guru/goldorak/goldora3.htm Here we go for Ulysse 31 http://perso.wanadoo.fr/simonin/Ulysse31/ (please browse) This site is in French (sorry for that) personnage=characters; view the various ships at pics/fanart Do not hesitate to ask questions for guidance ;) EDIT: found an English site: http://www.idi.ntnu.no/~torgerk/ulysses31/...ges/multim.html My all time favorite Captain Harlock - space pirate Ships: http://www.cornponeflicks.org/harlock/pira...ps.html#ARCADIA Pirates http://www.cornponeflicks.org/harlock/pirates.html Villains http://www.cornponeflicks.org/harlock/enemies.html The Mazone http://www.cornponeflicks.org/harlock/mazone.html Enjoy ;)
  10. I'm working on it Lord Vader ;)
  11. The term manga is not good, that's for sure. Furthermore its inaccurate because mangas refer to books and not to TV cartoons. Therefore I propose the term "Animation". Vader, I'm working on a series of links to prove that this HAS potential ;)
  12. Like I said, trends CAN be made, just show people great sets, and they will buy them (I mean people sometimes buy crappy sets anyway). If you look the subject on another perspective, this manga theme would be great because it will combine a space theme with: Captain Harlock: pirates Ulysse 31: mythology Goldorak (Grendizer) and Robotech: great Mechas BTW, look how many MOCs there are inspired by Robothech
  13. I really think TLC should give us historical themes for several reasons: 1) army building 2) history 3) playability 4) educational value
  14. Lord Vader, Billund is not that far from the UK. How come you're not joining the fun??? Please reconsider ;) BTW, it is mandatory for every admin living in Europe to attend :-D ;)
  15. I partially agree with you Lord Vader. Mangas (and I'm really talking of the old classic ones) might not be that popular among the younger generation of KFOLs, however is still a really important interest to people om my age that looked at them as kids, buy DVDs... Just look how many websites each classic manga has. Furthermore, even if people are not that aware of mangas, show them great sets with fantastic space ships, and their attitude will surely change ;) I was never a great fan of TLC's space theme because I think that the ships were never that great looking (apart from that UFO line which was oK, apart from the colors that is). I will post links to the best space ships, and you will see how wuvh potential this theme has ;)
  16. We do need a really nice space theme, that's why I really want a manga theme (old classics of course). There is SO much potential in this: UCS ships, minifigs, SYSTEM scale ships... You have the classic Good/Bad characters (the good guys win), its not too violent, have epic space battles, nice fashon blasters and guns... I'm telling you, this would be great ;) Why no one is following e on this?????????
  17. Thanks for the info nice little fur ball ;)
  18. Yes snefroe1, My favorite ship of all times (apart SW of course) is the Arcadia (Atlantis in French): I'm sure mister_phes will like it, its a space pirate ship ;) Check here for some pics: http://www.albatorssx.com/index.php?menu=i...x&page=atlantis View the magnificant Arcadia flying for freedom
  19. I know TLC will get rid of licences. Here's the 3 I want: 1) SW all the way 2) Manga (really generic: Captain Harlock, Ulysse 31, Goldorak) 3) Pirates of the Carrabean
  20. I like the V-Wing but: 1) not enough tie looking 2) too much of an hybrid ship: Ep2 JSF (nose/front), Jabba's Sail Barge (top/cokpit) and EP3 JSF (less obvious for the wings). EDIT: I found a better pics Royal Guard Tie Interceptor GG's starfighter: Belbullab-22
  21. Going way off topic is bad enough, so please no insults to other countries, that's really offensive.
  22. Excellent work bigfatslob ;) You should have put the two aliens together so we could see the difference (apart from the color, dhu). I really like the head (even if it came from Galidor :-D ). That shows us a lesson, we can always find use to pieces that we think are useless. Thanks for sharing these to SYSTEM fans ;)
  23. The Tie interceptor is one of my all time favorite ship, so imagine it bearing the crimson colors of the Empire ;) EDIT: great avatar chewie, just noticed it ;)
  24. For one simple reason, we've been discussing mainly clickits, ok in a broader way than the initial question, but its still clickits ;) Come on, can we please stop this non sense about off topic and closing threads, this is getting nowhere. Everyone has to take their responsibilities at some points. Back on topic: I actually nether thought before that clickits were usefull ;) This thread prove me wrong and I will check what pieces are available in small sets ;)
  25. If anyone has this picture then please... I gotta see it :') Forget the V-Wing man, I know the ship I want: its the Royal Guard Tie Interceptor ;) I found this page on Rage of the Wookies and there are 3 potential great ships for TLC to produce V-Wing the Royal Guard Tie Interceptor GG's starfighter: Belbullab-22 I know I'm dreaming but this would make my day ;) Check here: http://www.starwars.com/gaming/videogames/...ws20050331.html
