  1. I think I'm sold on them.
  2. I don't know what code you mean, but I doubt they're fully organic. They're covered in pistons and gears after all.
  3. I wonder which village that is on the village-page. It looks like Tesara, but if so those are very big trees. I hope we get a look at the other villages soon. And while the voice-over in the commercial is admittedly a bit cheesy, the visuals and music are fantastic. I can't wait for the full animation. (And the cactus-y jungle there is an awesome idea.) Oh, and Skrall has black hands in the animation, I notice. I like the idea of Metus as a shameless promoter, as well. And the jungle sounds on Tarduk's page make feel all nostalgic. Oh, and anyone notice that Tarduk references "ancestors" on his MLN page? Organic reproduction, perhaps?
  4. The mask photo and the first photo featuring the weapons are both really cool.
  5. Listen, I'M JUST SAYING I GAVE A WARNING BEFORE THAT LINK I WAS DESCRIBING THE CESSPOOL THAT IS MASK OF DESTINY THAT IS NOT THE USUAL CONTENT OF MY POSTS THANK YOU "DANMIT"
  6. Biomechanical = Biological and mechanical Biomechanical beings can easily have blood and gore.
  7. Yeah, I made it up. It's Maori for "Great #2." EDIT: I hope they're biomechanical. I know it's a bit perplexing how that would work, but I've always thought of BIONICLE as a fantasy story so who really cares. Make 'em biomechanical.
  8. I think the flags might be a wee bit exaggerated.
  9. EDIT: Vakama's "I'm waiting for the arrival of another..." sounds to me too mysterious to just be referencing another Toa Mata. If this was something said by Greg, remember he wasn't involved at all in the MNOG. ;-) I'll see if I can find more. =P -Ikk On the first quote: Greg said that part of the plot was decided on in 2005 or 2006. On the second quote: While it's possible that Templar or Bob Thompson had vague ideas regarding a seventh Toa, Greg has confirmed that it had yet to be determined.
  10. But the collecting stuff was so ungodly boring.
  11. -Metru Nui was vaguely, maybe referred to by Nokama, when she said that the Tohunga lacked a record of all that had come before. -Mata Nui's death I don't remember ever being alluded to... -Mata Nui being the universe was foreshadowed by the miners discussing a higher organic composition in the lower underground levels, akin to an ussal shell. The domes might be referenced in there, too. -Takanuva was kind of referenced. Vakama referred to Takua as a "hero that stands with the Toa" or something like that, but I think he wasn't intentionally insinuating anything... He said in regards to the Toa that he was "awaiting the arrival of another," but I believe it's been confirmed that that referred to one of the Toa Mata that hadn't washed up yet. -The Red Star was... Introduced. Besides it being present here I don't think anything was hinted at. -But yes, the Bohrok were all through it. There was also a stone in Le-Wahi that had "You wake one, you wake them all" written on it.
  12. God, I hate that dial-up sound. I never used dial-up for the MNOLG, and the only time I did use it was on my grandpa's old computer. It bugged me so much. And I'm pretty sure it's not properly a Great Spirit if Greg's denying it.
  13. Really, I agree with Grevious on the Piraka and Voyatoran. The first half of 2006 was extremely good, in my opinion. The Voyatoran have been my favorite group of Matoran characters since 2001. They were quite charming. Also, about an Agori-centric story: Definitely worth considering, W.
  14. That is exactly, down to the phrasing "crystal and iron," how I had imagined the Great Beings' fortress. Exactly. And another coincidence: I had been planning a while ago to draw a white Makuta Teridax...
  15. I love how Skrall looks...
  16. Lucky, lucky, lucky...
  17. awww hes got liddle ears .... I just found out that all you have to do to get proto on BZPower is submit news. I'll be POBZPC in no time.
  18. he looks like squidwards house
  19. Possible. I'm hoping there's a ruinous sideways double of Metru Nui in there. That would be cool. And an interesting couple of quotes in the OGD: Not something I can discuss, as it is pretty much filed under "Great Being topics" Is it possible that there are/were other beings of this type/ general design made by others that aren't Great Beings? Thanks! No. What about slightly smaller versions with a different purpose? Relative size or purpose is irrelevant -- you asked a direct question, if anything else like a Mata Nui-type being was made by someone other than the GBs, answer's no. So have the Great Beings created anything else that would fall under the category? BTW: Sorry to keep bugging you, I swear this is the last question on it. :P I'm not splitting hairs or weasel wording you -- the simple answer is no.
  20. This is a beautiful village. Its huge fortress-qualities remind me of Ta-Koro, but awesomer.
  21. "We are Skrall! We kick megablocks!"
  22. Haha, I like the toilet one.
  23. I think the disaster 100,000 years ago was the other Great Spirit crashing into their planet. We will call him Rua Nui ("Great Two" in Maori).
  24. Beautiful! Holt crap yes! Yeah! *Pelvic thrust* Looks like there's another piece covered in jungle south of the Hot Springs. And could those be fingers just east of Tesara? EDIT: Maybe Atero is right in the center, in the folded part of the magazine that didn't get scanned? It looks like there's a piece visible above the labeled portion of the Skrall river. Oh, and Skull Mountain is a very fitting name. And the idea of a "Sea of Liquid Sand" intrigues me. What could possibly live there? Graboids?!
