Have you ever questioned why you liked Lego?
RaincloudDustbin replied to Geki Brick's topic in Community
I love LEGO because it's a much more stimulating hobby than 'gaming' which really isn't a real hobby. My parents would much rather me be challenging myself or being creative with limited resources than on my PS3 all night like other teenagers. I like saving for the next set which makes me appreciate something more when I finally get it, I like being proud that I've finished something that I started a period of time ago, I love those days when you have a great idea and can't wait to build it- which motivates me throughout the day in order to have something to look forward to in the evening. I suppose a side-effect (if you like) is having difficulty making friends because nobody really likes what I'm into but I like it and that's what counts. I have questioned it before but can never come up with a legitimate answer but that doesn't matter- I enjoy it. -
Wish I could take credit for it but it's mostly from Brick Queen on YT though I changed it a bit.

It's a parrot in grey but looks nice as a gargoyle.

RaincloudDustbin replied to Scorpiox's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's what I plan to do next. I was going to make a MOC of the Joker's office but I think I'll add on the the set. Great thread idea by the way.- 12 replies

I wanted to try my hand at how this would fit in with my other MOCs and oredered in some big clear windows. Captain Nemo's excellent MOC pushed me to actually build them in the end and credit to him for the interior. Disn't get much feedback on my last 2 MOCs as expected but comments welcome as is constructive criticism. -TT

I was actually about to post mine later! Anyway, I've tiled the entire thing with alternating green and red tiles and behind the Riddler's head, I added a little wardrobe area for Joker as I also made a load of alternate costumes for him. I'll do a pic later... -TT- 12 replies

Anarky looks an interesting one...

Aren't you guys lucky, 2 MOCs in one night. Anyway, this is another MOC I made recently with Mr.Freeze and The Dark Knight. The scene takes place on a fictional point in Gotham- maybe Arkham City. It happens to be another of my signature 8x8 vignettes but this time, not by design more like coincidence. I dunno, I just like that last shot. The new Freeze is really growing on me and the old Dark Knight Batman has always been my favourite. I am keen on that kind of Gothic architecture in MOCs so I gave it a go. Be sure to check out my other (recent) MOC in the Licensed Forum. Thanks again, TT. Comments and constructive criticism are welcome. EDIT: Sorry for the crappy photos, I'm moving house and my studio is makeshift at the moment.

What was the last movie you watched?
RaincloudDustbin replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
'ted.' Very funny as it was the unrated version. Seth McFarlane at his best. 4.7/5 -
Well yeah, it's not really 'the Batcave' it's just a little scene I made. It'll make more sense when I post the story.

I made this little MOC as part of an upcoming Batman story I made. The story showcases some common villains but with alternative portrayals. Any guesses on who the guy at the top is? You may know (if you bothered looking at my About Me page) that I love 8x8 MOCs and that they are my favourite size. This is one of my best to date. It is a secret Batcave inside of Arkham Asylum where Bruce Wayne changes. Enjoy, TT. Comments and Constructive Criticism welcome.

I'd love someone to do some alternate 2x2 Arkham Asylum prison tiles. Bane, Catwoman, Harley Quinn the priorities. Thanks in advance.

The Woman In Black- Wasn't particularly scared, perhaps spooked at times. Felt you knew what was happening too early on. Daniel Radcliffe was good. 3.5/5 -

I hate that film. -
My guesses for next year: Batman and Nightwing: Killer Croc Ambush- Includes a new Batman variant (Red logo) and New 52 Nightwing (Red torso) and something similar to BrickQueen's design but with a Killer Croc BigFig and a electrified collar. £29.99 Flash vs Gorilla Grodd- Includes a small vehicle for Grodd and a platform which shoots Flash b with the appearance of speed. £12.99 The Penguin Attacks: Bruce Wayne rescue- Includes Batgirl, Bruce Wayne, Penguin. Has a function like the lowering rope in the Funhouse and 2 Penguin bots plus 2 fish and a Hovercraft for Batgirl. Also includes Mr.Freeze (goggles variant) and his mech with giant gun. £39.99 Wayne Manor: Invasion of the villians (or some other cheesy name)- Includes a new Batman suit (power suit), Bruce Wayne (battle damaged), Alfred, Damian Wayne Robin, Deathstroke, Scarecrow, Joker. Size around MM but with 2 storeys. £99.99

Dredd- ******* Awesome. 4/5 Avengers Assemble ( don't worry guys, for the 3rd time)- Enjoyed it again, even if the story is a bit all over the place trying to cram in many major characters. 3.8/5 -
