LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Admiral-Ackbar replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You know, I thought that as well as it certainly looks that way. It could be a lack of parts at the time or just plain laziness on TLGs part. -
I really like this set, but I wish there was another Minifigure to replace one of the battle droids (I'm sure someone can think of a clone commander or something to go in here). Thanks for the review!

I think its because his arm is in front of his insignia; you can see a couple of minor differences other than this anyway (look at the belt area for example). And I agree, the AT-AT is one of the must buys for me, along with the ISD and the Cantina. -

And they still don't show the important figures (to me) in proper detail! -

As far as I know, yes, and I believe pictures can be taken as well so we'll get a good look at the summer sets! -

Thanks for your reply; I had finally settled with a bley colour for the base before I realised some of the bricks I need aren't available in that colour, so I'm going with white since I'll likely switch between an Imperial and Republic base (purely for the fact that I have minifigs for both). As well as that, I feel that having lots of white bricks is more useful for things like an outpost on a snowy planet (three guesses which one) since for some reason I have more Snowtroopers and Hoth Rebels than Stormtroopers and all the other Rebels! But thank you for your help anyway! Edit: Just adding another question here; what rooms are most important in a base? I have command centre, engineering, armoury and crew quarters down but nothing else so far. Any others? 2nd Edit: Sorry to be such a pain in the brick, but any building hints for the corridors and doorways? Doors are 8 studs wide and corridors 6 wide ATM. Thanks again. -
For the record, I really don't like frappes. But I guess I have no choice but to submit...haha! But really, this is one of my favourite topics on Eurobricks, and I really enjoy seeing all of the fun jokes everyone has!

I'm just using Pick a Brick just now and it doesn't show up there except in Dark Stone Grey and White. I don't want to use Dark Grey so much since it looks a little too dark, and white as you said is a little too light, though it is growing on me. -

Does anyone have any ideas as to what colour a generic imperial base should be? I was thinking grey or white with black here and there for inside, but I can't find Design ID 4460 in Medium Grey for the exterior design I have in mind, so I'm unsure as to what colour the exterior should be instead. -

Just a quick off topic point about this; using real sand actually removes the sand printing on sandtroopers (or any figure really). Oh the irony... Anyway, the more I hear, the more I want the ISD, and the less I want just about everything else. Why does the thing I want have to be the most expensive? I'm also confused as to how Lego are going to approach the rank insignia on both the Snowtrooper commander and General Veers since Lego was never really accurate with Veers previously. The accuracy of this is really going to be a make or break point for me (because I do buy a set for the figures quite often). -

OK, I think I'll go for the Salucemi set just now and grab the Grievous set when I'm next in Argos since I have a gift card for there anyway. -

Just a quick question: which is better between The Battle of Salucemi and the Wheel Bike? I really want General Grievous but I also want the BARC Trooper and the Speeder. So...it's become a dilemma for me. -

Not sure if this has already been asked but will the new AT-AT (I assume the officer is General Veers) actually have new printing for him, as in having four red and blue pieces for his rank insignia, and maybe an individual face that separates him from the other Hoth officers? And what figs are coming with the ISD? Thanks, M. -
Good review and basic if not decent set. By the way, it's Commander Cody, not Fox.

Meh. I like the look of the new figures but the set itself looks weird to me. A sure pass for the moment, though I'll probably be swayed when we see inside. -

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but the Clone Trooper Sergeant from 75000 seems to be of very low quality for some reason. It's hardly been used yet the arms, torso and legs have all cracked! Does anyone know why? -
Hi, do I now qualify for the tag since I've been a member for a year and a half, and have 200 posts, more than half of which are in the Star Wars forum?

Its been ages since I've looked at this topic, and I've missed so many pictures! I love them all, especially the Ben 10 Kenobi one!

Admiral-Ackbar replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It confuses me why TLG feels it necessary to have different release dates for each wave, usually with Europe getting them first before the UK or US, Canada, Australia, etc. Why not just have a massive worldwide release thingy and give everyone an even opportunity to buy sets? Also, the Ewok Village looks much better than I first thought, since it is actually a village, and the minifigure selection is wonderful (though it annoys me that it took this long to change the scout trooper printing). -
What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
Admiral-Ackbar replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Since I started this topic, I've changed my mind a lot of times, but now it rests to the Starhopper set. It looks horrible, and the minifigures just don't make up for that.
