  1. Well, tastes differ. ) That is exactly why I wrote that it's my IMHO, my dear friend. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  2. How come one of the biggest Batman fans here, me, learns about the new updates on the game only now?! Ok, here are just some of my thoughts: 1) Plot I suppose the plot is pretty interesting and it was really an unusual turn for me with Sharp becoming a mayor and creating a special zone within the city for criminals. Kind of a reservation. That does not seem to be a bit realistic, of course, but I like the idea still. I just hope that they will do what they claim: make it a totally new game, with a new atmosphere, not just update the first one. 2) Goons Why are all the henchmen so buffed up? I mean, it seems that there are no normal-sized goons in Gotham. Oh well, I don't complain, sometimes you really need muscles to drive someone out of Iceberg Lounge! And I really like the variety of faces. Some of those clown-faced goons sure look creepy! Just look at him! I almost feel sorry for the poor guy. ) 3) Harley Quinn Ugh! Why can'they just go classic? I really don't like the new take on her. The ponytails are good and the color scheme is well also, but for the sake of sexiness, so to say, they totally ruined the overall desigh for me. Just my IMHO, of course. Don't think I have much else to say. 4) Catwoman Hey, that's not fair! The Penguin should be there instead of Bats! Anyway, I'm always glad to see her around in every outfit, but here she's just gorgeous. I really Like those comic books googles she has and the overall sleek and really cat-like appearance. ) I'd really love to see her giving the ghastly Quinn a few good kicks! Pur-r-r-rfect! ) 5) Harvey Dent Well, I have a mixed feeling about him. I definitely don't like his scarred part, mostly because it's not even scarred but seems to have benn burned or blown away. He reminds me of TDK Harvey in that matter. And I didn't like him much there. However, overall I'm pretty sure that he'll be good in the game, or some reason. And of course it's nice to see him in his white suit again. 6) What we still need. I just hope that we'll be seeing some other villains of the game soon. And I, of course, expect Penguin to be anmong them, fightning for territories with his gang, or just selling ammo and information. In fact the second variant is prefferable for me. However, I really hope that they don't take another "unclassical" approach and make him some monster-like creature. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  3. Ha! I was wonderind when I'd be seeing something like that on EB, and here it is! A great collection of spartains, Bonaparte! ) And if the rumors are true (and I have no reason to doubt, thanks to K-D) and we'll be getting some classical ancient architecture details in Atlantis, then I can only imagine what great MOCs will follow with these guys! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  4. Certainly, my dear friend! Oh, looking forward to it! Alas, we do not get many Batman MOCs these days..... ) Eh, did I miss something?! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  5. Hello there, my dear friend. ) I suppose that in a week I'll be able to get my hands on the sets, we've been talking about, and if everything is ok, we'll be able to come to a certain conclusion at last! :)

  6. A very fine MOC, pif500! ) I just love that feeling of "cosyness" in such small and well-detailed houses! And the design of the heater is simply great! Very well done. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  7. Thank you very much, LuxorV! ) I'm glad and proud that you liked them. I hope that the upcoming parts won't disappoint you. ) Thank you very much, WhiteFang! ) You know how I always value your opinion. And receiving such a high rating is a true pleasure for me. BTW, it was your great review of Series 2 minifigs that inspired me to make most of them. ) Oh, it's a delicate art of using tiny brushes and modelling paints, my friend. ) Oh, that crazy-crazy boy! You never fail to amaze me with your posts, my friend! ) Thank you very much for your kind words. I agree about Poison Ivy, she could use a lighter tone, perhaps, I should try that one day. ) And rest assured that Bane is safely locked-up in Blackgate. At least he was on the moment I was released from there! ) Thank you very much! Ivy is indeed, perhaps, one of my most favourite latest customs. ) I couldn't agree more. ) Thank you. I'm glad you liked them! ) Thanks. Good day, Sam Vimes! ) And welcome to EB community. I'm proud that you chose my topic for one of your first posts. And thank you for your ideas! The ideas you proposed are just great! I'll definitely try to make some of them. However I should say that I'm not going to make either De Vito, or THE BATMAN Penguins. They are a disgrace to the gentleman villain the Penguin is. Sorry for rough words, but I really don't like the monstrous approach to the character. Thanks a lot, Oky! ) you're always very kind to my humble figures! ) Yes, Offee's cat-eyes belt is really good for Catwoman. It didn't even require to be altered. Why do you all hate that hair on Robin!? OMG, Oky, thanks a TONN! I've never thought of that! The face will be just perfect for the victim! I hope you'll like the upcoming..... m-m-m-m-m-m..... thing I have for you. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  8. Great work as always, my dear friend! That is just amazing how you manage to turn practically every image in those cute sigfigs! Can't wait to see more! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  9. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) I'm back from my vacation, since the new term is about to start in a few days, and students are just begging to be tortured again! So after a long gap I decided to post a big new part! I hope you'll like it. ) Gotham prostitutes with their "daddy". ) (Those new collectible minifigs parts are really useful!) Iceberg Lounge barman. ) Blackgate guards. ) (Please note how I made them look "lighter" and less sinister than Arkham ones.....) Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake training. ) (Carate master's torso can be really nice after certain alterations.) Now time for villains! ) Yay! King Tut. (60-s version vs his modern one. however, if I recall correctly a modern one has appeared only in one comic story so far.) Catwoman with a new torso. ) (Who said that SW torsos are useless?) She's angry, however for some reason..... Purring with the Penguin. ) TNBA Scarecrow with Games pumpkins and zombies. ) (Nothing special, just couldn't resist posting him again. ) Mr.Freeze with his new goons. ) (Another use for collectible minifigs torsos. Still I should do something about the numbers, i guess.....) The Joker. (Based on Batman:Harley Quinn, Batman Under the Red Hood and Batman Beyond versions. ) The Joker with his new goons. ) Harley: Darling! Joker: Harley! Harley: Darling! Joker Huh? Who's that? Is that a bush? Is that a tree? It's Poison Ivy! ) (Isn't she lovely!?) Harley and Ivy. ) Gotham girls. ) I hope you liked that part! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  10. Hi, my mental friend! ) I dn't have a regular access to the Internet, so sorry for not replying for so long. ) Oh, I have sopme great custom figures plans! Stay tuned. )

  11. Greetings, friend! ) Just dropped in to say hi! :)

  12. Thank you. ) Would you care to check in? )

  13. Yes, but I said that she'll be wearing the uniform "in my collection". I do not intend to keep the Burrows set assembled. My Hogwarts collection has only Hogwarts buildings and scenery. No Hogsmeade, Private drive or any other places not related directly to the Castle. What I'm trying to say is that I will have my Hogwarts students wear uniforms in school, since I don't appreciate them wearing casual outfit. Perhaps, I was indeed not very clear here, my lady. Good day, ladies and gentlemen. )
  14. I don't like the fig. I don't like the way it's shown on the site above. BUT! It is obviously the case when the fig in reality is much better than computer generated. ) The best thing about the fig is the hairpiece. How great it will be for any other theme, starting with Batman and to Castle! The face is also good and looks like Ginny from the movie, and at the same time it's generic enough to be used elsewhere. The torso is nothing special. I don't really like those casual cloth torsos, since I do not use them much. I usually make some generic Gotham citizens of those. The legs are much more interesting, however again limited to themes like Batman and City. Perhaps modding will make them more useful. Generally I like the fig, but in my collection Ginny will be wearing a proper Hogwarts uniform. Students should follow rules and required dress-code. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  15. Some posts here just seem to be more like a cry for help! Seriously, being a customizer myself, I can't say that I accept all forms of customs. That is, I, for instance, believe that there's no use modding or customising LEGO bricks. That just isn't right. In that point I agree with those who say that LEGO is about building and finding ways of how to create a certain effect (say, architectural). But I can't say the same about figs. While bricks have millions and millions of possible combinations, figs are limited to certain number of parts, colors and things like that. My point is that you can do whatever you like to the figs, create characters from every book, film, story, etc., but modding bricks is wrong. That is, of course, my opinion. Now, to minifigs. I stay firm in my idea that despite the fact that a custumizer is allowed to do anything with the fig, id est paint, glue, apply decals, cut them, but you can't use non-Lego brands or materials. If you apply horns to your minotaur (for example) let it be horns from a LEGO (or brickforge, being the only exception) cow, not some MB filth. I wouldn't want to point at certain customizer companies and groups, but some of those over-detailed, highly complicated items just don't look LEGO-like, or anything that would fit into LEGO vision of the world. ) I hope I didn't bore you much with my speculations here. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  16. Good, day, meliander! Great to see you around, my friend! I hope you'll enjoy your stay. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  17. Yes, I do. Since I'm a devoted customizer and HP is one of my most anticipated themes, I decided to share my thoughts about the figs with the whole community. Good day, ladies and gentlemen. )
  18. Ah, finally a fig I really like. Perhaps my second favourite fig of the line after McGonagall! I suppose it's the first time TLC produced a good-looking Quiddich uniform. Not to mention that both Griffindor and Slytherin ones come in that posh dark colors which work perfectly, I guess. ) I'm again not sure about Malfoy's cartoonish face and the weird grin. I guess I'll need to try the old head with this torso. My most favourite part is obviously the headpice which I've been really looking forward to seeing. So many customs characters just beg to have that hair. Getting a pair of brown hands is also very nice. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  19. Sorry for being a bit late. Happy birthday, people! Have great year! Here's a pengdragon to you! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  20. Ah-h, ladies and gentlemen! ) Long time, no posts in ythis thread! I suppose I should change the situation. With the current hype around Potter I decided to make some more custom figs. i just hope that once i get my hands on the game, it'll give me some inspiration as to what characters to make next. Your suggestions are always very welcome, of course! ) Ernie Prang. Knight Bus driver. "Next stop - the Leaky Cauldron!" Madame Olympe Maxime. Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. "I 'ave - I 'ave big bones!" Professor Igor Karkaroff. Highmaster of Durmstrang Institute. (I just love his white Russian outfit.) I hope you liked that part! Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  21. *fixing my monocle* Indeed you're right. Well it's a nice touch then. I'll need to see it in reality however. If it's done the same way they did it in IJm then it'ss be great! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  22. Well, I must say I actually like the new Dumbledore outfit and face. He looks pretty much like Michael Gambon now. Despite my dislike of Gambon's Dumbledore, I find the fig pretty intetresting though. However I still prefer my PS version. I can't clearly see his torso, but it seems he has some nice micro-printing that always (practically!) works good with LEGO figs. Still, I can't but mention that sand blue color doesn't work for me. But it's my personal likes here..... The head is nice, however I miss half-moon glasses a bit. They could've been made smaller and in gold, but, alas! It still remains unclear to me if he has a dark gray hair or not. It seems he does. In that case he looks even more like Gambon's Dumbledore. Though, I must also say, that I'm a bit tired of LEGO using that type of beard. I mean, I understand that it has been around ever since 198?, but it doesn't work well for that particular fig. I suppose some customisation in in order here. ) Oh, and one more thing, why does lego always give Dumbledore 'legs'? In every film he wears his long robes, so i guess the 'dress-slope-brick' would be much better. not to mention that it waould've showed that dumbledore is actually quite tall. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  23. To my own surprise I can't say that I like Malfoy Sr. fig much. I find his face somewhat cartoonish and can't see that it resembles the movie counterpsrt. Not to mention that this hairpiece makes most figures, IMHO, look somewhat fat (when used without beard, of course). The torso printing looksodd to me. Perhaps, the dark brown printing is supposed to mean fur or something but without sharped lines it just looks messy. I like the green vest and a tie (or whatever it is), but the capehgolder is too large and for some reason in the middle of the torso. I suppose the fig could use some work and the details could have benn much more neat./ Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  24. Oh, McGonagall is up! ) What a great fig that is! I'm still not quite sure about the face, but I guess I'll customise her. ) Why does she have a question mark on the dress, BTW? Hermione looks like a total..... wich! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  25. Great entry, ADHO15! ) One of the best scenes in the PT, and you've done it perfectly! I just love the way you did that pillar (tower, whatever it is), how detailed it is! Ind I find it pretty interesting that you've used parts of the droid gunship for the platform. The stickers work really well. The dark water looks superb and really gives the impression of Camino storm. And the way you presented it is also superb! Well done! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
