Miss Selina Kyle! How could you?! You give a kiss to the thug, and never cared to give me one! Seriously speaking, I really liked the trailer. Thanks Flitwick! Several quick thoughts: 1) I don't think I like the voice. Too generic. 2) Does it indicate that we may have an opportunity to play as Catwoman?! 3) Dent looks better in my view now. 4) What a knee should you have to break a bat?! (Double pun intended ) 5) Hm, it seems we may get some near stealth missions, after all! 6) I wanted to see Penguin! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

Well, I agree that both sets are worth getting, it just depends, I guess, on the person. I, being a history fan, definitely prefered to get the Pyramid first. And you do have a point here, Legocrazy81, I really forgot about the exclusive figs in the HQ set. So get both sets really. You can just imagine that those adventurers found some antient alien mechanism in the Pyramid that summoned the UFO's! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

I tend to agree with Blondie-Wan. I do not really see why can't DC and Mavel characters co-exist in LEGO, though I highly doubt it'll be at the same time period. And it would definitely make sence to re-launch Bats in 2012 (second half, I guess) in order to meet the expectations of kids and fans after Arkham City game and before the last Nolan film. And taking into consideration that WB has stated that they will continue making Bat-films, remodelling their style to make more comic-like, that will be a perfect timing to throw the theme in. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

Well, I'd suggest getting the Pyramid, if you ask me. The command center is a nice set, but too play-oriented. Too actionesque so to say. While the pyramid can easilly be put on a display. Actually, the pyramid is one of the most detaid and colorful sets out of the whole theme, not to mention unique and beautiful minifigs, printed parts and new molds. And the general color-scheme is much more appealing. at least to my taste. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

Happy birthday, neighbor Siegfried! ) Have a very fine year, filled with joy and LEGO! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

Some more interesting news on the game. A vent?! And i just hate it when some people say that Penguin looks more realistic that way. How come a man with a bottom of a bottle in his eye and a smoking vent is more realistic than a refined gentleman with a cigarette holder and a monocle?! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

REVIEW: BrickArms Mystery Pack Volume 1 (Part 1)
The Penguin replied to WhiteFang's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Another great review, WhiteFang! ) I'm not quite sure how to use transparent weapons, since they're quite unusual looking and thus have a very limited MOC-value. But still they look pretty nice. And the gold on is just awesome! I wonder if itactually has golden bullets? If so, Bats should consider that to be an honor to be shot from such a thing! Goodday, ladies and gentlemen! ) -
*Waugh-waugh!* I salute to you, another Batman fan! Great to see more bat-fans around! I sure am looking forward to seeing your Bat-MOCs and sure hope that you'll stay with us for a long time. And thank you for your kind words. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

That is trully an outstanding review, WhiteFang! ) Since I do own the chrome pieces (from my minifig contest prize) I do fully share your joy. Those bits are just amazing and very useful for every theme. And my experience shows that the chrome doesn't wear off, so you can use it quite intensively! And it was extremely nice of you to make the presentation of those using Batman figs! And even including my sigfig The Penguin one! I'm a tough guy now, being able to shoot Bats from a long distance and chop him to pieces in close combat! Who needs umbrella's anyway? Once again, great review WhiteFang, keep them coming! Can't wait too see more! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

Welcome, comrade! ) Enjoy your stay. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

What the heck did I just read?! How could they?! That's, that's just..... How?! ok, I could put up with a cockney accent. I could bear lack of bird-relations, but THAT?! Why, WHY is de Vito's curse still haunting the character?! My consolation may be that he'll be extremely awesome in the game with some nice and unexpected plot. By far i tried to stay calm, but that's really getting on me! Good day, ladies and gentlemen!

Yes, I sure hope they kick some Bats' and Nightwing's..... ) Better than I feared..... ..... but worse than expected. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) P.S. What's up with monocles in computer games?! I have never seen a properly applied one!

Aw! That's very nice to be posting in this thread again, since I thought everyonre had forgotten that MOC. Thank you! ) Well, a couple of months i guess. but as far as I recall most of the time went on waiting for BL bricks! Necro, pardon? Thank you, I sure hope that people will continue making Bat-MOCs here on EB, since as I've always said all themes may work for Batman. ) Thank you very much. ) I'm glad and gratefful that you like my humble MOC. Well, most of my major Bat-MOCs can be seen in my signature, and the rest in my BS folder (also can be found there). but I sure have some nice ideas, which just require time to be built. ) As for my whereabouts: Thanks for clearing things. ) Actually this MOC had a sort of continuation (which explains where I were) but it was never really popular. ) I'm afraid I had to deconstruct it and use some of the bricks for Blackgate Penitentiary, and after deconstructing this one it serves some other no less noble purpose. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

My most sincere congratulations! May the following year be filled with inspiration both LEGO-related and not! Happy birthday! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

Ok, now I need some fresh air..... Give me a minute..... So, we've got it at last: an official Penguin confirmation and an image. Oka-a-a-a-ay..... So let me just state my feelings and emotions this way: What I dislike: 1) The Penguin is almost bald. Well, nothing unusual about this version, but I'd rather he was balding rather than so egg-shaped. He just reminds me of De Vito version this way, who was good for Returns, but wouldn't have really worked here. I just hope that he'll be covering it with a top hat. 2) The monocle is in the wrong eye. Monocles are usually worn in the right eye-socket. And as a gentleman of class penguin would've never made such a mistake. We can hope that it's just an inverted image though. 3) I guess he could've been made a bit younger. Not as young as THE BATMAN one, perhaps, but not as old as here. 4) I think his teeth sure need some brushing. A man of class wouldn't allow to have such teeth. Well, he can afford to have a proper cosmetic precedure! 5) He has no cigarette holder, which I find to be a minir flaw, but still. Since I use one he should as well. 6) "Brute with a bad taste"? Well, that's something that bothers me greatly. I mean, it's a bit vague what they mean here. I wouldn't really like to see him throwing his thugs around, shouting and beating them. That's not just him. He's a gentleman of crime, dammit! What I like: 1) I really like that he has a monocle. Though it looks a bit big fopr his type of face, but it's ok, generally. 2) Penguin is not obese. I really like that. He sure has some weight problems, but he's not iceberg-like size and I sure hope that he can move with some paste, should he have any need! 3) I like the shape of his nose. no beak-like nose, a perfectly standard straight one. 4) I like what he's wearing. What looks like a fur-longcoat, which I find to be really fitting, but a bit out of taste, true. 5) I really like that they made him a keen collector. Since i share the same passion, I suppose it's a very true and a realistic-to-the-character thing. Still I guess that the game character is colleting arms and weapons, rather than antiques like me! About the one-armed goon. I take it that he's a brother or some other affiliate of the Joker's one. Here it's an odd hint that they are Russians, since one has a hammer and sickle tattoo and the other a red star one. If we look at the weapon we can see that the clown has a hammer and this one has a weird-looking giant sickle. Their scars also may indicate that either they lost their arms or that they were thouse unfortunate twins who were born joint, so to say. Not sure of the term. But you get the idea. And back to Penguin again. I hope that he has a proper voice, that may still save a character for me. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

That is one very fine review, Catanas! ) And a great way of new members to step in! I'm really looking forward to getting this set, since it's a definite treasure not only for HP fans, but customisers as well, with all those lovely villains' torsos. But what I'm looking forward even more is some new reviews from you, with those lovely comic stories of yours. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

No Arleen Sorkin for AC: here. It's sad, though. No boubt that Tara Strong will pull of the work perfectly (no worse than Batgirl), but it's a shame, really. Taking into account that they stick to BTAS VOs, Sorkin will be missed. It seems, should we see a third game we'll have no Joker and HQ in it, at all. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
-
Yep. Very good point. It seems that practice shows the opposite: no sets follow the game. And I was soooo hoping to see more Bat-sets back then! Oh! But let us hope that this will be an exception. And TLC will continue working with WB and re-launch Batman some time! Am i going mad? Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

it's just that I'm using PS3, since i consider it far more convenient and useful for me. But I guess, it's mostly a matter of taste. )
-
Not to worry! Thank you very much. ) I'm glad you liked it! I myself am really looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with. Your design looks very good so far, so I'll be checking the thread, should you share some other pics with us as your work progresses. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

*twitching* What-did-you-just-say?! That's how another console war was started! Seriously speaking, I was really surprised, because to be frank i did have a feeling that B:AA was a bit short, even with all those hidden places around. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

What I like about the game is the villains. Yes, we all know and remember GlaDOS from the first game, but at the same time it was a character and a boss you kind of expected (thanks to all those films where hardware and software startshating prople). But in that matter the second part was even better. I doubt that I was the only one who really HATED Wheatley by the end of the gam and felt a bit pity for GlaDOS. P.S. Oddly, but I wouyldn't really mind if my girlfriend would've been like her. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
