  1. I can't allow or forbid you to talk about anything in this thread as long as it's Batman-related, can I? ) Well, I like your view of the Riddler and somewhat share it. To me, personally, the ideal Riddler is very close to BTAS one: very clever, very arrogant. To my mind Riddler should not be tough or have any special fighting skills, since clever people will try to avoid fight up till the last minute. I really liked his portrayal in recent (relatively) comics where he has a certain friendship with me and working like a private detective later, with his own goals. Quite fun. Should you be interested, I'll have a look what comic stories these are. Well, my tastes depend on the sourse of the material: i.e. inside Batman Returns world I really like Penguin, but hate it when they try to incorporate a monster-version into a "normal world". Same with all kind of series. I hate BBB Joker, but he looks good in the whole world. The same with BTAS most cillains look good there, though Penguin is horribvl in it, untill his brilliant revamp in TNBA. He became an entirely new character, much better, IMHO. Sorry for that a bit messy answer. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  2. The title explains it all, I guess. With Underwater Month currently running I couldn't help and hurry up to finish this long-postponed MOC of one of the hardest bosses in the game and coolest of my submarines! I hope you liked it! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  3. From the depth of Gotham City Bay emerges Penguin in his P.E.N.G. costume. Yes? What can I do for you? Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  4. Great entry, Jebediahs! I really liked your idea! Though I feel sory for poor you. Don't worry! I can raise drowned orcs as well! )

  5. I thought of that. I guess this gear will be great for making (even purist, perhaps) minifig. However yellow and trans green front glass won't work. And as far as I know trans-clear one has never beed made by LEGO. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  6. Oh, such a lovely topic for a month celebration! I couldn't miss such an event and such a great contest. So as usual I decided to make a small presentation of my new sigfig. ) I hope you liked it! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  7. The Penguin and my penguins like this month! ) Water is my element, so I consider it to be a matter of honor to participate in some the contests! Especially the avatar ones. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  8. And yes, he looks much better that. Looks almost an ideal one if not for the bottle. Yes, I've read them already. Rather weak to my taste. *cough*youtube*cough* God day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  9. Happy Birthday, LuxorV! It's great to know you and pleasure to work with you in MCW forum, one of my favourite around here1 May the following year be filled with new ideas, not only LEGO-related! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  10. No need to get THAT distressed. Have a look in MCW Forum, you'll find a topic there how to change fleshie heads and parts into yellow. So never fear! I personally wouldn't really like to see LotR theme at all for two major reasons: 1) That means the end of (temporary, but still) of LEGO own Castle theme. And though I don't really like Kingdoms that much, I suppose a certain "freedom" in the theme is always better that a regulated one by a specific story. 2) The prices, I expect are going to be rather high. For example PotC sets prices are really insane. It never usually stopped me with licensed sets, but with this theme I can't really make myself pay that much for it. The theme stopped LEGO's own pirates, which I find to be rather distressing. Not sure what the opinion of the majority of pirate fans here is. And about LotR having huge potential. Indeed it does. But I can't help but think that LotR is still less appealing and "more mature" than certain other licensed themes. But that's I guess, because I always liked books more than the films. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  11. That is a nice coincedense, since I finished reaading Year One yesterday, myself! *BOO!* Yes-yes, I haven't read it before! So what?! I guess it indeed is one of the best storylines I've read so far, but I really can't help but think that the main hero there is not really Batman but Jim Gordon. I think that the character has been portrayed in a great way, showing his true noble and somewhat rough nature. As for continuity, my best advice will be not to think about that. Not to try and incorporate it all. You'll end up in Arkham Asylum! Speaking of it. Do read Arkham Asylum: Serious House on Serious Earth. It is quite different from what we usually get in comic stories about Batman. And definitely is one of the best ones. I'd also recommend No Man's Land I haven't read the comic stories, I just picked up a novel by Greg Rucka (one of the best Batman authors). It is an easy and fun read. And it has me in it! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  12. Well, I share your sentiments to some point. At first I was rather shocked after Bane broke him, but later it turned to be an interesting plot twist. I really liked No Man's Land, even though the idea of Gotham, being leveled to the ground sounds almost heretic for an "official timeline" so to say. I even enjoyed Hush, though thought that the story had much more potintial, frankly. As for Global Batman, I'm quite agressive towards that type of stuff. Foe me it's like batman orbiting the earth with the rest of JL. That is just wrong. IMHO. Perhaps, I'm still lagging far behind, but for me "true" Batman will always remain a BTASque one with more mature features: a demented, tortured loner, who whants never to exist. In my view Batman is the character that does not want to rid world of crime, but a character who deep inside hates the sheer fact of his existance. It's not easy to understand, but give it a thought, should you like. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  13. This thread is dedicated to Batman, as he's depicted in comic stories, games and our imagination. However DC universe is far bigger than Gotham, so other DC characters are also welcome here. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  14. I fully agree. This one will be quite suitable for Nolan films and the TDKR news, while I ( ) can create a topic for general Batman discussion, which may prove to be pretty useful once the new theme is launched. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  15. Nah, that's not Jimmy! It's lil' Jeb (Jebediahs). He'll be ok, I'm sure. He'll hack and slash the clown to bits if he comes near him. Orcs don't really appreciate humans! If only It does not turn itself into an orcish clown! Oh, the horror! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  16. Thank you. Thanks a lot! ) It's not my fault that you look..... younger there! I feel almost offended that people keep saying how nice Riddler looks with that bowler hat. As if I havcen't had my own design before! Alfred will answer for me: Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  17. Well, I can't really recall a decent Wayne Manor MOC, so I guess that would be quite fine. You don't have to if you don't want to, mind that.

  18. OMG, MY DWARVES!!!!!! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  19. Aw! Does that mean that you didn't like my previous Riddlers? You're very welcome, my dear friend. ) Thank you. Thank you. The police shield is a painted Brickforge Roman one. Yes, I really like that fig. I hope Oky will pay attention to this thread and see what's become of his villanous nature! I vote for Dr. Oky. Yko Naw Ibonek was obviously evil, this doctor is also mean, but more in a cunning way! Thank you very much. ) Well, I have already made Man-Bat. I doubt that soon I'll be making a new version, but I'll think about that. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  20. Thanks. Yes, the custom was made using that fig. She protested at first. Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. ) Thank you. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  21. Thanks. ) No, IT feeds on children. It's good that I do not have many children minifigs in my collection. I guess..... Good day, ladie s and gentlemen! )
  22. Thank you. ) Well, the bowler hat is a painted official one from the new Minifigs line. Though I've had my own design prior to that one. I used my bowlers mostly for my Batman figs. Thanks. ) This topic, indeed, has huge potential, and i, being a big history fan (if I may say so) should pay more attention to it. Your suggestions for future figs are always welcome. ) Thanks. ) The funny thing, is that i do not like the new detective fig very much. It's good, but well, something is quite boring about it. I prefer a realistic black suit holmes rather than a hunter's outfit one. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  23. I've had a look at your LDD MOCs and must say that they're pretty good. Those could've become very decent LEGO sets. Any chance to see anything from Batman? )

  24. Well, I generally am cold to LDD MOCs (apart from creations of a very limited number of members here), but this one is degenitely very good. It could have been a great addition to the current drying line. It's a shame that not all pieces un the MOC really exhist (in term of colors, of course). Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  25. Yeah, but there is one thing..... IT HAS ALREADY EATEN MY EP.1 ANAKIN SKYWALKER MINIGIG!!!! *runs away in horror* Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
