i wish i could get some of these old sets, they look so great! this set in particular looks like it has very many useful pieces, mosty of which i still need. anyways, great review! that bridge crumbling feature looks like it could be used to make part of Indy ToD bridge. Of course, i have to complain about the tiger fig. Its all one <insert that tiresome argument> part (by that i mean the head, body and tail) and i dont expect those legs to come in handy. But i guess its worth it for the dark orange pieces... the swords look awesome too, great fir arabian knights. and the diamond... i dont have a yellow one yet... oh bricklink, here i come!!

how so? "Btuch" means junior, as in another word for junior. we (being me and my friends) just picked a random name, (Jim) and made "Jim Butch". But my friend thought it was "Jim Butcher" so thats what it turned out to be. so technically, it should be "Nick Butcher" because i am the younger of the two Nicks. So if you thought i was some sort of slaughterer, (like cutting up pigs into bacon strips) that is not the case. I hope this rewording helped!

thank you! for my warship, i think ill make it attack the crownies, but the crownies board the ship, slay all of the trolls and orcs, save the dwarfs, just to be attacked by the skellies with the red dragon, so the green dragon and the red dragon battle. (I know, I know, its against their will, but the armies control them.) And this all takes place at sea.

the title kind of creeped me out... but nice army! I just love that green dragon! ill look foward to seeing your other armies as well. hopefully the elves will come.

it looks great! ive seen a lot of sorting techniques, but yours is very specific, like a drawer for B-ball legs. very good!

yes, ive noticed this. what i do is just do several steps at a time. i think this is for kids to build the models easier (although they just end up broken [for the kids] anyway). What i also find annoying is the dummy guide: like the pics of bricks in the grass with a red line through it, or the pic with bricks sorted into piles organized by color and type, or the "no shooting anybody in the eye with the (very dangerous) flick fire missles. Also, the fig instructions. come on, we know that the head goes on the torso! and on a nature based note, its wasting paper.

cool! even though the new trolls from the castle line arent that great, the harry potter one is horrible! that aside, great use of the kit fisto head. i was going to use it for a davy jones fig (POTC), but that idea quickly vanished due to my lack of pirate sets. Fortunatley, i made Jack Sparrow and Will, and will be posting them here as soon as i can find that damn USB cable. ...off topic... back on it, cool orc thingy.

I actually am thinking about creating a theme about the elements. you know, earth, wind... fire (lol). Ive been creating a lot of plain, single colored figs. currently, i have an all black fig (representing darkness with sythe in hand and a black hood), a brown fig with a turned-around torso so only the front is plain, while the back is a jedi robe, representing earth with a rock raiders creature and vegetaion growing out of the pair; a red fig (also with a turned around torso and head) that represents fire with flames shooting out of its hands and a red exo force hair piece; and a green one (not completly plain, with leg and double sided torso decals) that represents wind with a green cape (he can fly). So how does it sound? a bit childish? EDIT: Thank you, TheBrickster. i can be a little bit of a nature boy... i think about the elements quite alot actually... and how everything has an opposite. (light to dark, fire to ice or water, or earth to wind).
