  1. "Alf, attack with your Sword of Decay now, from the front. I'll give you a potion so that you'll still be standing if the dragon manages to hit you." Feeling strangely energetic from the lightning attack, Hybros feeds Alf a potion with his first turn, and throws his other Throwing Knife with his second, from the back row.
  2. If this is the case, then I might as well just attack with Zoot's Reaper the whole time, since using it from the back row will have the same power as any other of my throwing weapons. Then I'd be able to poison it more...? Xarrzan, what's the verdict here?
  3. OoC: Alf can still attack with his Sword of Decay. Hybros flings a Throwing Knife from the back row.

  5. Perhaps this ought to be put in the FAQs, as it's asked every 50 pages or so. If a weapon is imbued with two gems and they have overlapping elemental strengths/weaknesses, the resultant strengths/weaknesses happen like this: Both are weak (read: ineffective) against Element X - Ineffective Both are strong (read: 2x damage) against Element X - 4x damage Both are normal (1x damage) against Element X - Normal damage (1x) One is strong and one is weak against Element X - Normal damage (1x) One is strong and one is normal against Element X - 2x damage One is weak and one is normal against Element X - Ineffective Correct me if I'm wrong, but I hope this helps. And while we're on the subject of elements, if Tarn was looking for an effective element I would definitely get an Opal. It's the most valuable out of the ones that you can buy from Elphaba because it's strong against 3 types (one of which is very common) and weak against only one type (Ice, which is very uncommon).
  6. Happy Birthday, O creator of Eurobricks. Have a great day.
  7. Hybros attacks from the back row, with his Ancient Throwing Dagger.
  8. Actually I would much rather the party take a bunch of special attacks than one hit due to "Damage" from the dragon. Especially since the lightning attack is beneficial to the party. I do agree with Jeb here, the odds aren't impossible. The good thing is that there's only one enemy, so we can take our time chipping away at its health without having to worry about free hits. And we have two rogues, as well as smoke bombs, if we need to flee.
  9. "Hm. Knifk, if you have the bard sing Fastest Flight, I can apply a bottle of deadly venom to my weapon. The earlier we do that the better. And if that be the case I'll use a deadly venom on Zoot's Reaper and then attack with it from the back row!"
  10. @Xarrzan: That has to be the strongest enemy yet. I remember when everyone thought the final boss of Quest #5 was powerful, with a mere 100 HP.
  11. Hybros jumped back in fear of the huge beast. He had only caught a glimpse of a dragon before in his life, but he had no idea how fearsome they were. This would surely be his toughest battle yet. "If we can land five successful hits on this thing, we should be more effective. Knifk! Have Singerson play Lady Luck's Lure so that we may have a good round. I'll attack the dragon from the back row with Zoot's Reaper!"
  12. Very nice entry. I love the way you constructed the dome, it was a unique solution to the elongated hemisphere. Most of all though this brings back some fond memories of when I visited Florence five or six years ago. Really a beautiful city.
  13. "I say we go back and explore the rest of the quarry. There might be more beasts that were scaring off the workers".
  14. Welcome back Sinner.

  15. "Very useful indeed... hehehe. Let's move on. Which way are we going?"
  16. "His singing powers may become useful, as far as healing. I'm fine with his company, eheh."
  17. Hybros observed silently while Guts interrogated the man. The battle had gone well, and he felt stronger than ever. "Let's see what this man has to say, hehe..."
  18. If the party didn't have a cleric, maybe the singing worker could be effective... Hybros gave a nod to Knifk, and attacked the giant spider again from the front row. The orc was doing well.
  19. I think Sandy did the encouraged-effect differently, at least for mugs. In Quest 15 she calculated the encouraged effect before the mug multiplier. I'd say it makes more sense to calculate the encouraged effect after everything else, though. Agreed with Scubacarrot. One of the few advantages of being a Rogue is the ability to buy more stuff (because we get more gold). So by getting nostrums, meads, and smelling salts Rogues become much more useful in battle.
  20. "Now is our chance to end this quickly. I'll repeat my attack."
  21. "Hm. I knew it must have been a trap... well this must be what's scaring off the workers. I'll attack it from the front row, with Zoot's Reaper."
  22. Happy Birthday CopMike!
  23. I really like that blocky RGS. And nice use of those dice. Very cool creation overall.
  24. Did your sig fig lose a few inches?

  25. Congratulations to the both of you! Well deserved.
