"Indeed it had occured to me that, should it work, my powers of Darkness would surely make crossing us a very bad decision for that cleric, and so I shall attack the Pirate Cleric from the back row with Darkness!" -
I'm really sorry for my absence at the end there, Bob! I just got too busy with end-of-term work. I probably would have followed Peanuts' theory as it seemed to make more sense than the mum/Alex affair story which I believed to be the key beforehand. Either way, I wouldn't have guessed correctly! Congrats to Cornelius and Peanuts for fooling the majority, but more importantly, well done Rumble for figuring it out! Great job hosting, Bob, and thanks for letting me play!

"I agree. The pirates are likely to run to the other side of the island, presumably taking one of the far corridors, so I suggest taking the one nearest to the door." -

"My apolgies. The youthful looks of your species confused an old young fool like myself. And thank you for the rum, Eric." "I do not think that will be of much importance if we engage the pirates. My vote goes towards heading back inside and locking the guards out." -
Thank you very much. Nice clone! I'm not sure how a cross-shaped scar would come about, but it looks good and the idea to continue it as a personal pattern is great. Haha thanks a lot! Sorry, but several of those clones are very unrealistic and I don't consider that game to be canon, so I don't think I'll make those. Added: Gree (Phase II - 41st Elite Corps) Clone Scout Trooper(Phase II - Clone Trooper Types) Updated: Lost Command Trooper(Phase II - Lost Command) Lost Command Shadow Trooper(Phase II - Lost Command) Making the scout trooper template took a while, as did camouflaging it, but I think it turned out pretty well. But Gree is my favourite, of course!

"I do not wish to appear a coward after threatening the seamage with death, but I shall respect the decision of the party and give 1 bottle of rum to the Pirate Seamage." -
Thank you, Dpaduwan. I was confused about what you were meaning at first, but I see your point. The markings either side of the visor are proportial to the rest of the stripe on the head and chin, so I can't make the middle portion wider. The whole stripe is the right size, so they'll just have to remain hard to see. Thanks, CTS! I'll give your ideas a try soon. "I shall see how my magic fares against that of the Pirate Seamage by attacking him from the back row with Darkness. I won this Amethyst from the last mage I killed. Now I shall use it to kill the next." -
The emphasis was on major there. I don't think a game full of the most obscure villains in the Batman universe would prove to be very popular, and I don't know of enough heroes to fill a mafia game, unless other members of the Justice League are included. I suppose the survivors of this game could be brought back if needs be. It all depends on what people want to see, I suppose. Whatever we decide, The Penguin and I have agreed to have a rest before thinking of hosting again.

"Are we able to give rum to the pirates at any point or only before a battle, like now? If we can give them some later, we might as well try fighting them and use the rum as a last resort. If not, I do not mind whether we fight or avoid the confrontation." -
Turns out I saved one file over the other by accident. I'll go back and edit it soon. We have considered a sequel, but thought that there wouldn't be enough major villains left to use, so there wouldn't be much call for it. That's an interesting thought though and we might discuss it further. @ Brickdoctor:

Here are my game records: And the night actions written out to make them more clear: I don't think there's really anything surprising among all that, but the info's there for you all to look through.

"It appears another fight may be imminent, unless we can spare some rum to keep them happy and let us pass." -
Oh, of course. I forgot about that when I copied your role PMs just now. I've updated yours and Egghead's to how they were originally. Sorry about that.

Fair enough then. I know I'm not an experienced Mafia game player by any means and perhaps should have played more games before hosting, as the games I did play weren't all that different from each other for the majority, so let that be a lesson to future hosts. There were a lot of roles to coordinate and balance, and I wasn't 100% how the odd one worked, so playing and learning about more of these in practice would have been a better idea. Myself and other future hosts can now clearly see what worked in the game and what didn't, so we can all learn from it. Using existing character should probably be avoided as the temptation is there to connect roles with characters which, like I said, still made for a good game in my opinion. When we were planning the game, I remember there were a lot of people wanting an everybody-has-an-action game, which I liked because it meant nobody was left bored as a vanilla townie. Maybe 48 actions was too many, especially when I didn't know how to balance them properly. It seems the Scum were overpowered, but the Town won, so I guess it wasn't too unfair. I know I learned a great deal from the game, and will hopefully be a better player in future games for it. I really liked being in charge, though, and loved knowing what was going on when some of you were clueless. Now for the roles... And as a bonus (if you didn't see it already on the writeboard) I even made Maxie Zeus from the Prologue a role. He was never designed to be a playable character in the game, but I gave him the missing Godfather role later on. Most of those are probably already known to the majority of you, but maybe they'll answer some questions. There were also several abilities with hidden extra parts to them: - Bane - "I will break you" - Bane had a 1 in 6 chance of being killed instead of the person he was protecting and a 1 in 6 chance of killing the attacker. This obviously didn't reveal itself in-game. - Hush - Talented Surgeon - Each of your unknown abilities had a 50% chance of success. I think only your first one, the investigation, was unlucky and the rest succeeded. Black Mask would have been a dead man after a couple of days if he wasn't lynched. - Poison Ivy - Flower Power - Blocking or protecting could not prevent you getting revenge during the Day if you were lynched, but this didn't happen in the game. - Ra's Al Ghul - Resurrection - As Killer Croc found out, you could not be killed by the same person twice. I hope you all liked the names of your abilities and the way they were presented to you each Night.
