  1. Thanks. I hope some Republic support comes along soon. I'm eager to start the game, even though I've no idea how it works.
  2. Thank you. I've added pics of his other suits. Now you can pick which one he's wearing depending on where he is and what time of day it is.
  3. No, Darth Sidious' master. Plagueis taught Sidious (Palpatine) everything he knew and then was killed in his sleep by his apprentice. Palpatine tells Anakin the story in Revenge of the Sith.
  4. Sounds like the 'Tragedy of Darth Plagueis' but with Tuskens. I was feeling creative today so I made a bounty hunter too. I hope that was okay. This Neimoidian scum calls himself 'Cazador'. A renouned bounty hunter and assassin, Cazador is a quick and silent killer. Unlike most Neimoidians, Cazador is not power or money-obsessed, and is not in the slightest bit cowardly. He kills purely for pleasure and has never failed a mission. Born on Deko Neimoidia in 4003 BBY, he was around 44 at the start of the Jedi Civil War. Cazador owns camouflage armour suitable for missions on any terrain (pictured in white suit for missions to ice/snow planets). He carries no gun, and prefers to use blades and explosives. He has several types of grenades, including stun grenades and thermal detonators (pictured). He's also armed with a concealed blade against his right arm that he can use to assassinate targets up close. It can also be released and fired to shoot enemies at range. He carries numerous knives in his armour as well and sometimes uses a jetpack. His armour is full of small devices such as homing beacons and grapple ropes. He's skilled in unarmed combat and, like many of the other best hunters, he has a considerable bounty on his head too.

    Misprints

I've got one like that as well, but in the Battle of Endor set. My Echo Base Han is fine. Also, I noticed my jet troopers had smaller-than-average mouths. Does anybody else have clones like this?
  6. Hi. This is my first review in the Space Forum. I picked a small, simple set: the 6814 Ice Tunnelator! Theme: Space (Ice Planet 2002) No of pieces: 19 (excluding fig) Release Date: 1993 Minifigs: 1 RRP when released: $3.00 USD Bricklink Peeron This is the official picture of the set. Though I have lost the box and instructions, I'm pretty sure this was the picture printed onto them. Build These are the 19 pieces included in the set. The trans-orange pieces and the wheels are probably the rarest pieces. Not being a huge and varied LEGO collector, I'm not sure how rare the pieces are After 3 stages into the build, the model will look like this. This is the underside of the buggy showing where the four wheels attach. A few stages later and the buggy will look like this. The bumper, the seat and the 'ski rack' have been attached to the main frame of the vehicle. Towards the end of the build, after the chainsaw and skis have been attached. The buggy will look like this. Vehicle The finished buggy looks like this. It is accompanied by a single minifig you will see later. If only TLG made sets this small for Star Wars! The buggy has four big wheels, a chair for the driver to sit on, a basic bumper at the front and a trans-orange chainsaw to 'tunnelate' through the ice. A side view of this little vehicle. It looks small and cute from this view, dwarfed by it's big wheels. A front view. The bumper could use some SNOT techniques to make it look smoother, but the chainsaw sticks out far enough in front to cut ice at a safe distance. A back view. The skis securely clip onto the back of the chair, allowing the wheels to still turn easily. Minifigure This is the spaceman that is included in the set. He has a nice torso featured in about 6 different sets. His trans-orange skis and visor look nice too. They remind me of a certain Wallace & Gromit film. The spaceman has a typical smily face with a blonde fringe when he takes his helmet off (though that's not a good idea in space). The air tanks are a nice (and essential) addition to the fig as well. Action The spaceman can store his skis on the back of his buggy when driving. This is very easy to do as they just clip on the back. Here he is cutting through a large piece of ice with his chainsaw. (Ice is from 7412 Yeti's Hideout) Thoughts Build: Short and simple. Not much to it at all really. Minifigures: A nice spaceman who really looks the part. Another fig to interact would be better. Playability: Not much good. All you can really do is push it around. You could take the man off and put his skis back on, but without anything else included in the set, such as a breakable ice wall, it lacks playability. Design: By today's standards, it has a really basic design. The chair is placed too far back for the man to reach the handles. The chair allows him to sit down with his tanks on, however, and the way the skis can be put on the back is good too. Price: A little overpriced if an average of $0.10 per brick is applied. Not too far off when counting the fig, though. Overall: Not an awful little set. It's small so doesn't take up much space, and can be fun to fidget with while doing something else. I suppose it would be a good addition when accompanied by the rest of the Ice Planet 2002 line, but it's not much on its own. Ratings Build: 4/10 Minifigures: 5/10 Playability: 4/10 Design: 5/10 Price: 7/10 Overall: 25/50
  7. You were? I thought they'd be a bit more expensive. I'm pleased with the price of the Pirate Tank and I'll hopefully pick one up in a month or two. I hope they're not limited edition and won't be removed in a month. The chrome stormie isn't on Shop@Home UK at the moment. I don't know if/when it will be.
  8. Thanks for the support, Clone Killer. With your permission, I have the Jedi General of your 722nd Legion. This is my character: Galeer. Galeer was a Force-sensitive Ewok from the forest moon of Endor. He was born into a wealthy Ewok family in 3994 BBY. His parents named him after the Ewok wind God and was shorter and thinner than the average Ewok. He was sensed by Jedi numerous times during his childhood, but because no Force-sensitive beings had ever been picked up in that sector of the galaxy before. Eventually, Human Jedi Master Lok Harta visited the moon and found the wokling, aged 9. He was taken to Coruscant and trained by the Jedi until he became a Master, aged 23, making him the first Ewok Jedi. He eventually lived up to his name, mastering the skill of Force speed, and constantly improving the speed of his movements, reactions and lightsabre techniques. He chose to use a long-handled, purple-bladed lightsabre which was very unusual for someone of his height and stature. His skill in combat twinned with his incredible agility made him a formidable and unbeatable enemy to many.
  9. The remaining new sets are available now on Shop@Home UK. 7753 Pirate Tank: £31.29 7754 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser: £88.09 7778 Mid-scale Millenium Falcon: 29.35
  10. Thanks for those pics! I love those Star Wars ones! Might have to get me some of them when they are up for grabs!
  11. No problem. I look forward to seeing your new and improved version.
  12. That's a good model, ACCLAMATOR. The shape is great and the overall design is good, however, some of the colours (blues/blacks) could be improved. I understand this can be difficult on large MOCs when you have a limited supply of bricks, so it's not that big an issue. Also, the base could be improved. Instead of having the bottom flat, with the top plate overlapping, you could try rounding it off to make the top and bottom the same shape. Great for a first try, though. Welcome to Eurobricks, btw. I hope to see more of your work soon.
  13. I wouldn't have thought they'd switch back yet. The Clone Wars is still quite big, and the new series will be out in Autumn. The CIS Tri-droid, for example, hasn't been done yet, and I know that's a set widely wanted by Clone Wars fans. Also, just because we've seen one picture of a Phase-2 clone on, doesn't mean TLG is switching back. It may not even be relevant to the exclusive itself, or if it is, it may just be a single exception.
  14. I agree. As much as I'd like to see Phase-2 clones return, it will probably just end up being a collection of this Brickmaster exclusives or something, and we're looking too far into it. You know as well as the rest of us. We'll just have to wait and see. How about, just a crazy thought, San Diego Comic Con 2009?!
  15. Don't be like that. If you want to show us pictures, post them in the correct, existing thread. If not, then don't. Don't try and make us feel guilty for telling you what you should have done.
  16. Still, the 'Show Your Army' thread is exactly for that. If we had a separate thread for every member's army, this forum would be massive! Just post pics there when you have them, or wait and post all the pics together.
  17. Nice droid collection, Panda9001100, but why did you show your army again when you were the first person to show theirs in this thread? It's not like it's any bigger. It's the same picture even!
  18. Good find, CaptainRex110. The clone is definitely a Phase 2 trooper and the bendu is also one of the Republic. I wonder what this set could be.
  19. You may know mine already, but here it is if you don't: Ad-Hoh Feel free to use it in any of your MOCs and I hope to see some of your work soon.
  20. Great work, Penguin! The OG-9 Homing Spider Droid looks much more simple and accurate and looks like it has a better posture. The firefighter droids also look great! Well done.
  21. So the only sets missing are the Falcon, Home One and Pirate Tank, which aren't on Shop@Home in any country yet, as far as I know.
  22. That's good news for Americans, I'm sure, but remember to post news like this in the right thread in future. I don't think we know very much. I think we've heard it'll cost around $250 and we've made many assumptions of the minifigs included, but we aren't certain of much more. We were hoping for pictures at Brickworld, but it looks like it wasn't there. You haven't listed the 8036 Separatist shuttle. Shouldn't that be there?
  23. Thanks. I'll leave them both up, then, as his armour alternates.
  24. An amazing comic, nine-eleven! The story, the effects, the professional-looking layout, the characters... everthing was perfect for a Star Wars comic! Sure there were a few mistakes in the text, but you expect that when it's been translated. Very well done! I look forward to seeing more.
  25. My 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, 7749 Echo Base, 8036 Separatist Shuttle and 8038 Battle of Endor. I orded them on Friday and an email saying they left LEGO HQ on Monday, so relatively quick delivery. I've only opened the shuttle and the tank droid, but I can't wait to make the others tomorrow!
