By request of CommanderFox, added Senate Commando Added Fordo (Phase 2) Thanks very much. You're welcome to give your requests now. I have already created 'Delta' for CloneCommanderDelta7. Thanks, CommanderFox. I made a Senate Commando last night. I've just uploaded him.

Surely that would be an opportunity for a Ki-Adi-Mundi, Shaak Ti or Aayla Secura, rather than normal clones or that many ARC lieutenants. Good idea, but unlikely.

Good beginning to the story. Hope to see the next part soon.

I can see the cover page, but not the rest. I look forward to seeing them tomorrow.
-
It sounds good, but the pictures don't work. Try uploading them from a different site and see if that helps.

Damn! I was going to order both tonight. I hope they come back on soon. I don't know what's going on.
-
Correct. By the way, they are the same picture, just on different backgrounds. In addition, if it is an Episode 3-based set (which I doubt), it will be a CR70 Corvette. Between ROTS and ANH it underwent modifications and refittings to make a CR90 Corvette.
-
Maybe, but it will have to big to house several play areas like those. The rebel blockade runner or CR90 Corvette was a capital ship used by the Rebel Alliance. Tantive IV is the name of Senator Bail Prestor Organa's personal ship, captained by Raymus Antilles. So they are sort of the same thing, but seeing as we haven't really seen any others up close, I think it's safe to say the new set will be based on Tantive IV.

What?! Would it really be so hard to look back at one of my previous posts? I posted all the countries the three new sets are available in and the price of each. Please keep up.
-
We do not yet have pictures, so we cannot be 100% sure as of yet, so speculation is still necessary. The 'clouded' set, we think, will be released next year (2010) as it's likely to be a Cloud City-based set and next year is the 30th anniversary of ESB. I agree we won't get anything big this year besides the Tantive IV set. Hope that helps.
-
Maybe you're right. Maybe TLG is just getting greedy. However, if they know many people will like this set for its design, its figs, etc. why not raise the price a little? They're still getting great sales as it's the first Venator with the first Palpatine and the first Senate Commandos; they're just making some more money of it. On the other hand, it could just be a mistake that only time will tell of. I doubt this, but I have been wrong before. You just have to ask yourself how much you want it. If you'd rather buy some better-value Space Police sets, maybe you should do that instead.
-
I've decided to go for the Battle of Endor instead of the Venator. The price of this set is lower than I expected, so I'm pleased about that. However, like the Venator, the price of the Echo Base set is higher than I thought it would be. They're not so far off what they should be, so I'm not "outraged". I guess it's just got something to do with today's economy. TLG has never stuck to exchange rates, so the prices of sets rise and fall each year.

The Tantive IV set is more certain than the Cloud City set. We have no pictures yet so it isn't 100% definite, but I feel fairly confident we'll see one. The Cloud City set is an educated guess based on a small teaser and the ESB anniversary next year.
-
I agree. Hopefully we'll get good pics of the Tantive IV set soon. I was talking about the possible Cloud City set, not the Rebel Blockade Runner set. I realise my comment was unclear. There is a good chance the Rebel Blockade Runner set will be released in September, but the 'clouded' set, as it's now known, will certainly be released next year as that's the ESB anniversary, not this year.
-
You mean you've only just found out? Picture's have been on this site for months. I just assumed you would have looked round during the 17 days you were here before you posted, or even before that. I'm sorry if you think I'm trying to sound negative or to make your ideas seem stupid, but I'm just offering my realistic ideas on what you've posted. You must realise that it's highly unlikely TLG will release another similar Y-wing set a few months after this one is released.
-
Yes, thank you. If you looked in the right thread for info like this, we wouldn't have to keep seeing it here. I even wrote a couple of posts ago that I had written this there. I think this comment belongs there too.
-
I highly doubt TLG would release another BTL-B Y-Wing Fighter after one comes out this summer. Even with new pilot figs, sales of a second so soon after would be much lower. A CIS MTT is a possibility, but I don't think I would buy one. I think there are still many more sets that could be made before they slightly redesign a recent set like that. Good idea, though. I think the possibility of getting your third idea is slim as well. TLG put Gunray in the Sep. Shuttle, so I doubt we'll see him in another set in the near future. If they did make the set, however, I'm sure they would include Ventress, Ahsoka, Gree, Argyus and/or Luminara Unduli rather that so many generic characters.
-
Yes, Master. You think? I thought a 'possibly-big' like that would be released at about the same time the Republic Dropship and AT-OT was released this year, in which case we're likely to see the January 2010 sets first.
