  1. Okay. I'm not sure why you're doing this, but cut it out! What are you gaining from messing up all our threads? Just stop it or you'll be banned straight away!
  2. These are really good weapons. I agree with what's been said about the flamethrower looking big. Maybe you could make a way for him to carry the tank on his back? Also, I think the sniper would look better all in black. The machine guns look good. Keep it up!
  3. I hope they won't be those ones. In my opinion, the ones from the Stormtrooper BP were the best and I'd like to see them in the Tantive IV set. The over-shading on those figs doesn't look right and I think that was just a mistake by the designers.
  4. It looked alright for a small vehicle, but I thought the passenger space was too small for four troops. I like all the BP vehicles. Because I have two Clone Walker BPs, I prefer my large vehicle MOD. The droid BP vehicle is great for carrying all my SBDs. The STAP was a lot better than the original too.
  5. You don't have to apologise to me. I welcome comments and if you think that something could be improved, I'd like to hear your opinion. The design was only supposed to be very simple with some minor changes to two walkers, that's why I haven't done much to improve it.
  6. You think TLG will give each stormie and each rebel a unique face? There were four of those rebels in a battle pack with the same face. I'm sure TLG would just re-use those exact figs in this set. However, the new Endor rebels have different faces, so we could be seeing a change for the better (for most people, anyway). As for the stormies, of course I know they're volunteers! I am the Star Wars Specialist However, not all stormies are new recruits. Some are clones who survived the Clone Wars. Because their faces aren't seen, TLG will probably stick with their previous ideas of giving stormies plain black heads. Either is fine with me! Saying that, I probably won't even be able to afford the set until about christmas time so I shouldn't be saying things like that. I have to remain detached.
  7. How do you mean? They could be a bit larger? Thanks. Thank you! I use my Phase 2 clone troopers in vehicles and CW troopers as ground troops. The green ones seemed to fit best with the walker as it features several outstanding green pieces (ones that stand out, not ones that are spectacular ). Thanks very much!
  8. Good find, ILikePi. The book looks good and I'd say that was a chrome Vader on the front, or a polished regular one. Can I just ask why we're discussing the book in this thread when it is due to be released in September, not as a May exclusive?
  9. These are great, Vimes! All three ships look very detailed with lots of greebling. I prefer the first two rather than the last one. The orange cockpit doesn't fit the ship very well, in my opinion. I know you were trying to make it seem evil, but I don't think that was the way to do it. I love the cockpit on the SoroSuub 3X-Vassel! I've never seen the 'glass' pieces used that way before and the two-seater cockpit is a good idea. It reminds of the cockpit of the Twilight. The cargo area is good as well. The Corellian Banshee looks the sleakest and best-designed, I think. I'm not a big fan of asymmetrical ships, but it doesn't look too bad here. Well done!
  10. Great work, Penguin! You've managed to combine both themes perfectly. Not that I know a lot about the Dwarves theme, but I think you've managed to keep that theme clear while still keeping the designs Star Wars-related. That must have been a very skilled dwarf to be able to create war droids.
  11. Oh, good. Not too long to wait for pics then, if it is featured there, that is.
  12. I'm pretty sure I'm right. Why have we not seen anything like this before? I'm sure we've discussed this many times before. I know you're quite new, though, so you may not have seen anything on this topic. If the AV-7 Antivehicle Cannons would be as big as pedro's MOC, I think that should be in a separate set. I'd prefer a droids set with an LM-432 crab droid, a tri-droid, 3 battle droids, a OOM command battle droid, 2 super battle droids and Whorm Loathsom; and a clone set with an AV-7 antivehicle cannon, Rex, 2 jet troopers, a clone gunner, and one or two from Obi-Wan, Anakin, Cody or the new R2-D2.
  13. Thanks! With a name like SWMAN, I'd expect you to know lots too. What do you mean by face designs? You mean just stormtroopers if they're included in the RBR? Do you want them to have clone face designs or new ones? Do you want them all the same or each different? I agree with you both. I can't wait to see pics! When is this event? I know the USD price came from a pic like this. I'm guessing there was a similar picture with the Euro price on. I can't remember.
  14. I have just noticed that I have been given the title of 'Star Wars Specialist'. I'm not sure who gave it to me, but I have an idea it's either because of the way I like to talk in detail when discussing Star Wars, my Star Wars-related signature game, my Clone Trooper MS Paint characters, or a combination of the above! I think they are probably also the reasons why I was given my Star Wars badge as well. Thanks to however gave it to me and maybe you could tell me why you gave it to me? I'm guessing the 'Antilles' discussion clenched it.
  15. A crab droid would be good, but would be too small to make any kind of set on its own. Maybe another large Droid BP like the Hailfire Droid set could include a crab droid. If by 'raw battlepacks' you mean consisting of figs only, I'm pretty sure TLG is not allowed to make them in the Star Wars theme. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think Hasbro owns some kind of rights that allows only them to make individual fig packs.
  16. I do! Raymus Antilles was the captain of Senator Bail Prestor Organa's private CR70 Corvette, Tantive IV. He was given ownership of R2-D2 and C-3PO at the end of Revenge of the Sith. He was then killed by Darth Vader onboard the vessel in A New Hope. Wedge Antilles was a Corellian X-Wing Fighter pilot and served the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. He later formed Rogue Squadron with fellow pilot Luke Skywalker. Despite sharing the same name, they are not related. Back on topic: I'm sure that, if the Tantive IV released is an ANH-based set, it will feature Captain Raymus Antilles. He was featured in the LEGO Star Wars II videogame so TLG does already have somewhat of a design already. Wedge Antilles was not seen aboard the cruiser and so will more than likely not be featured in the set.
  17. Ta. Thanks a lot, darkrebellion! Thank you very much! Thanks! Good idea, but I don't have any of those trolls and it'd probably be too big to fit on. Seeing as yours is the only suggestion so far, posades, I guess his name stands as Ril-Daktoh.
  18. I posted my BP alternative a while back but seeing as it fits this topic and newer members may not have seen it, I'll re-post it here. The walker could look better with more modding but the whole point is it is made from mostly the battlepack. The pictures are still a little blurry but that's the best my camera will do. They don't look too bad. You can see it is just two walkers from the battlepack fused at the middle, legs turned the same way and the guns & missiles at the front. There is one 2x2 square underneath for supporting the middle. This picture shows the missile array and the pilot waving at you. Here are the guns at the front. I added the lightsaber hilt to make the guns look better. The walker has space for 4 figs or 2 figs and cargo space for guns and my custom-made jetpack. And finally, it is sent into battle with Yoda and some troops. (Sorry for the bad background) Again, any comments or criticisms are welcome.
  19. That mistake was spotted upon the first sight of the book months ago! We've established that the cover design is not yet final. We've heard that the Darth Vader on the cover is no longer the battle-damaged version and other differences as well. The design will be final when we know what the fig is in the bottom-right corner. By the way, it's a Wookiee Warrior. Two were released in the Wookiee Attack set and a third in the Wookiee Catamaran.
  20. Thank you. I like the colour, but I don't have very many parts in that colour, so I may have to break it up if I want to make another similarly-coloured MOC. I'll give you that! Thanks! The tail is attached through the miracle of Blu-Tac! I couldn't find a suitable brick-built solution so I thought I'd try it out. It works very well. He probably is. He's keeping a low-profile and doesn't want to be recognised. Thank you very much! Thanks a lot! I'm sorry about the battle droids. He is a Jedi and so he can't be killing clones or other Jedi. Thank you so much! Ha ha! I'm sure they wouldn't like to hear that! Yes. He was a very good fighter. Thanks! KimT was right:
  21. Try mine if you want a challenge! Oh, no. Wait a minute, you're awesome! How can it be a challenge for you?! I love your other work. You have real talent! If you want to try something different, you are welcome to try mine. Here are some pics: If you do draw him, could I ask that you make him look less Hutt-like and a bit more of another natural-looking species. Thanks!
  22. It's possible. Look at the Death Star hologram in the Venator set. It could just be a trans-blue cylinder piece with a minifig-version of Leia printed on in a similar way.
  23. Very good! Simple, yet funny. You do have a lot of tuskens. I hope to see more displays featuring them in the future!
  24. That review doesn't really show very much about the set. That starfighter is definitely fake. It is shown with an old design of a vulture droid and I doubt TLG will make any more Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptors for a while. They seem to be currently focusing on OT and CW sets. It does look good, though. Thanks anyway!
  25. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't read that, I just watched the video. Do you think it will be Split Screen co-op or online co-op or both?
