  1. If everything will go smooth, I will have both of mentioned sets on Saturday or Monday in my hands, so will review then.
  2. I am absolutely sure, that this is not April joke, as this set is already sold in our country at auction server! See here
  3. As suitable topic is locked, I post new one with link to photos of 30000-1, most probably new Brickmaster set. As BS folder is not yet public, now you can check link to my forum Brickdome , where I posted it. I am not sure, if it is to be added to Brickmaster, but taking on mind 5 digits numbering of BM sets, like 20000, I intend to be.
  4. POST TO BE DELETED BY ANYONE WHO CAN.
  5. I am upset to myself, that I sold 6399 MISB one year ago, and not now. Sold right now, it could provide a nice car to me
  6. Best deal I ever made was, when I bought at Ebay.com 6399 MISB for 220 USD, in 2007. I bought some sets from a guy working for TLC for 20 years. I asked him, if he has anything else, he sent me a list of many interesting sets, and the best one was, 6399 for 220 USD. You can imagine, how happy I was.
  7. I have watched all those auctions and having fun with all those crazy bidders. German Ebay is full of such mad bidders last 6 monhts, bidding more than double BL prices....
  8. You have a link to pictures in first post . Concerning Swastikas - at 7198 there are old WWI plane signs, nazi signs in WW II had been different - on wings it has been a straight black cross, and on the tail nazi symbol called "Hakenkreuz". I am quite sure, that I have seen in Austria and Germany plastic models with original signs, so how forbidden? Or, is it not called toy then? Frankly speaking, I don´t understand, why only nazi symbols are so strictly forbidden. Catholic church killed many people during medieval age, their sign is not forbidden. Soviet Union killed many people during 1917-1992, red star is not forbidden. Signs on its own are not dangerous, always just people behind...But, I am going too O/T. I already mentioned, that fourth fig is my mistake when making photos, it cames from 7622, in 7198 there are only 3..
  9. I have been at Lego show in Austria yesterday and have asked JB from TLC, if we can expect any new modular house until end 2009, and reply was, that one will come...
  10. So, I returned from Austrian Lego show in St.Pölten and finally built-up remaining plane. I added photos to the link mentioned above and now I am following-up with translating review to English.
  11. Oops! You are right, I built when parting out few 7622 sets to my BL shop, and one figure felt to the plane figs and I made a photo with...will correct..
  12. It is not hard to buy it in our country. Just randomly chosen not yet finished e-auction, where this set is : http://www.aukro.cz/item589414908_lego_indiana_jones.html
  13. Hi friends, finally I have next of my most wanted 2009 sets in my nasty hands . I am working on a review, to be placed here until Sunday evening. As I hope, that you are, same like me, looking forward to see each new set, you can see photos of box, figs and first plane here on my forum Brickdome.cz. Now I am bit tired to build second plane, but, weekend is not finished yet, and until Sunday evening will be done! Maybe tomorrow, but, I go to visit St.Pölten Lego show... And, as always, sorry for poor photos, my camera is broken and handy is not ideal to make photos, but, still, better some, than no photos... 1. IMPRESS BEFORE I BOUGHT I knew I must have this set since first preliminary photos appeared at web. So, as soon as I had a chance to acquire, I got few pieces. 2. IMPRESS WHEN UNPACKED I was bit disappointed by new style of polybags numbering. I found in box two bags numbered 1 and two bags numbered 2, and meanwhile I thought, that I don´t have right parts to build the set. Just comparing color scheme of parts inside with instructions, I found, that both bags numbered 1 are for white plane, and both bags numbered 2 for gray plane. I cannot understand, why the bags aren´t simply numbered 1-4 like at most of other sets. Nice surprise was a stickersheet - finally I can build some BF109 3. IMPRESS DURING BUILDING This time seems, that TLC had thought carefully about construction. Both planes are much better constructed, than any Lego plane I built before (and I built nearly all issued). White plane I built 30 minutes, there are some easy SNOT constructions used in back part of plane and at rear gun nest made of motorcycle mudguards 50947. Gray plane has same building time, SNOT is used for engine exhausts strokes and in back part of the plane body. Building is quite easy, counted as 8+. 4. IMPRESS WHEN BUILT - LOOK I am excited by both planes, looking so realistic and massive. White one has length of 27 studs and wingspan 28 studs, gray one has length 34 studs and wingspan 36 studs..Indy has an old style biplane with double machine gun carriage behind rear seat. German pilot has a modern monoplane in nazi field-gray, with 4 guns in wings. Only one exception, that I have, as a WWII fan, is, that the gray plane is shaped more like US naval fighter, then as classic BF109 of FW190 5. IMPRESS WHEN BUILT - PLAYABILITY This set seems to be a classic dogfight reminiscence, what makes it attractive on its own. But, there are few tricks, making it even more playable. First - both planes has in instructions shown, that gun tubes should be "shot" outta plane with fingers. Frankly speaking, I don´t see the sense of this, as usually bullet, not barrel, is shot out from machine gun..Second, much better trick - if you press the back cabin glass on the grey plane, both wings fall down. This makes dogfight much more funny. 6. FINAL RESULT I don´t know RRP, guess it will be somewhere around 50 bucks, what makes this set quite attractive. Good playability, very nice look, WWII fan attractivity, no need to think any longer time, better go and buy few! First Lego fighter ever, where size of the plane is in accordance with fig!
  14. Hi mates, finally I got my nasty hands on 7641 City Life, within one week I will write down review here, but, first I will build 7198 Fighter Plane Attack, as planes takes less time, and I am actually totally outta time.. So, to give you bit fruit, First details of box at my community Brickdome.cz Sorry for terrible photos, actually I have broken my camera and those are made with handy only.. 1.BEFORE I BOUGHT This set has been my favourite vote of City 2009 line, so, as soon as there has been chance to get one, I did. Finally a real city building, after all those police and fire stations... 2. IMPRESS WHEN UNPACKED 5 numbered polybags, two instruction books (one for bus and station, second for bike shop and pizza house), big baseplates in polybag, sticker sheet. Common package style. 3. IMPRESS BY BUILDING Total building time has been approx. 60 minutes netto. Most of the time takes the bus, as all other segments of the set are made using big panels, doors and windows, easy to build. There are totally 45 steps for book 1 and 19 steps for book 2. This set could be built by a child 6+. 4. IMPRESS WHEN BUILT - LOOKOUT I was expecting bit better bus, as the shape is too sharp edged, and with lack of details. F.e. - rear view mirrors should have at least tile 1x2 trans clear included, driver should have some decorated tile in front and speed shaft. Buildings are nice, no 5. IMPRESS WHEN BUILT - PLAYABILITY Playability of this set is reasonable. Many figs, including one kid, bus with two doors, pizza house with chimney, skate shop, all those things are offering enough playfun for the kids. What I miss a bit, are some animals and more tools, for example 6246 6 tools wheel should have been added for even more fun. 6. FINAL RESULT RRP is 70 USD for USA market, what I find a reasonable price. Despite scent of juniorization still beeing there, TLC is finally going back to roots, to classic City themes. It is a fresh wind, after all those police and fire stations in last years. Thumbs up! HERE BELOW PICTORIAL BUILD-UP REVIEW First, I was stepping few days around the box, before I found time to build the set. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...big_picture.jpg Then, 2.4. I luckily got a while for me, immediately used to open the box and start with building : http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...isb_-_1_-_8.jpg I opened first polybag to build a bus. Figs are common, but, finally we have here a new 6 x 1 x 4 trans black glass round shaped to both sides, which allows build a 6 stud vehicle without an ugly hole between front glass and sides... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_10.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_11.jpg Half an hour, and first pack is over. I built a bus stop station and bus on its own. Bus station is simple, but neat. You can find fire hydrant there, a flower pot, dust bin and a lamp. Stickers are used for a bus station sign on the roof and on the stand. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_12.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_13.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_14.jpg The most wanted part of this set was for me a bus. Frankly speaking, when I built it, I am bit disappointed. I appreciate, that after so many years, we have a true City bus here again, but, in my opinion, bus is too simple. On the box, it looks better, than in reality. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_15.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_16.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_17.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_18.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_19.jpg Polybag 3 has the bike shop inside. As an old dog, I immediately remembered 6699, which I got as a small kid in 1987. As main part of the shop is made with three big panels, iin 10 minutes it is built-up. Bit <insert that tiresome argument>, but, finally I have to admit, that this building is looking very nice. Trans clear panel looks even better, than some windows or whatsoever, there are details inside (skateboard stand, fence) and outside (lamp, bike). Kid minifig with para helmet (I call it, due to the shape similar to German WWII paratroopers) and standart mechanic fig are also always welcomed. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_20.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_21.jpg Polybags 4 and 5 allows to build a pizza house with restaurant and roof. Although there are also big panels used, design is nice. Front side of pizza house is equipped with windows with opening glass in second floor and also at angled roof windows. Rear side is equipped well. In first floor there is a cash desk, and a perfect pizza chimney, that has a mechanism allowing pizza girl to open chimney glass doors without getting burned.. In second floor there is a neat restaurant, allowing to sit for a while and eat pizza cake made downstairs. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_22.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_23.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_24.jpg All parts of the set are built-up, right time for final resume and photo. 7641 was mine favourite City set for 2009. Although my expectations concerning the bus had been bit more loaded, I am happy having this set. After all FD´s, PD´s, hospitals, finally TLC came back to roots, to real City sets with City themes. We will probably never see same sets, like in late 80´s and early 90´s, what I count as a Lego golden era. Bit if juniorization is still present, although the dark ages of City Jr.and Jack Stone are eagerly over. But, to be honest, if I will throw away AFOL glasses and forget some rear view mirror pictures from my childhood, I will give 10/10 to this set. My 4 years daughter loves all current City sets with same power and same effort, like I did 20 years ago, so, thumbs up, TLC!!! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kanal-K1...sb_-_1_-_25.jpg

  16. Train is photographed on the standard RC tracks, review maker doesn´t have a power set to motorize 10194, so his review is just static..
  17. Most probably. No problem to buy this set here in our country. I had an offer already one week ago. As it is officially not sold yet, I am nearly sure, that all those offers are from factory leakage.
  18. Hi fellows, one of the members of my AFOL forum Brickdome.cz is working on a review of 10194, which he built right today. Although it is in Czech language, maybe you will be interested to see real photos : See it here.
  19. Thanks for this great review with absolutely exciting field photos. This is my most wanted set for 2009, and, after seeing all those perfect details, I decided to create my own agriculture company. One harvester is not enough, I want at least 4!
  20. Thanks for a great review. I am not primarily IJ collector, but I already bought some sets as a great WW II MOC part source. I built very funny 7626 until now and my hands are shaking for 7625, 7628 (had already at home few months ago, but sold away as MISB). When I saw this set, I was looking forward for a review to see, if there is a reason to buy. I was bit afraid of those big wings. Now, I am definitely going to buy and build it, price/money ratio seems to be OK.
  21. Nice to see this, just today I built a bus too. It has been just a triaĺ attempt, from parts which I actually found. I am not a MOC builder, sadly I can much better deal with Lego than build. I used same door type and same windows too. As I built 8-wide bus like you, I can strongly suggest you to change wheels to 30,4 x 14 as below. They looks much better than the small ones...Just the length of the bus should be around 40 studs for those wheels..mine was 23, too short..
  22. Although I am a City fan, this set is not mine cup of tea. Seems to me, like if someone in TLC put simply what he found after working shift on designers boards into one box. If I compare size of truck, digger, mobile crane and house, looks, how we say in our country, like four dogs, each one from different village..
  23. From my point of view, those new Space Police 3 will never revive glory of Classic Space. Although Space is not my favourite theme, classic space sets have been at least realistic. Blacktron and M-Tron was acceptable, but, all things after (Insectoids, Exploriens, Roboforce, LOM, MM, UFO, Unitron) had been terrible. Even if it is hard to presume from first few pictures, if I take a look onto those two Factory sets issued last year, I think, that SP 3 will be next useless serie...
  24. Very nice!
