  1. Fantastic work, the train looks real. I like the use of the lapbars, because I hate OTSR.
  2. Sorry for bumping my thread, but I want to show you the paint job of the rigging parts. The painting was still ok, until the temperatures are rising during the last days. Falcon-Rigging von BobBongo auf Flickr I used a primer and a very good flexible paint. Right now I think I´ve to test grinding of the parts and repaint them. It´s not so easy as I thought, but I don´t want to buy the expensive original parts. I hope this will help anyone, in the desicion of using black or brown rigging parts. regards from sunny germany Klaus

  10. Secret engine tests are running. A group of droids were sighted.
  11. Because I´m still waiting for the rigging parts, it was time to build a stand. Warning! Don´t do this without stabilizers attached to the feet! The angle to watch the falcon is now much better for me.
  12. Very good MOC! I like the antennas under the T and the X, the nearly disappear in the front view.
  13. Cool, realistic flesh. Good idea!
  14. Haha, good to see that I´m not the only fool of doing the BL way. Have fun during the construction. Maybe our ships will meet each other in space.
  15. @ Lance Watch close and you will find some tiles missing and some slopes also. @ Joker Go back to the first post in this thread and you`ll know the timeline.
  16. Ready to fly! There are just a few parts missing.
  17. Ah, there it is. Good work and fine details. Do you get a pic with the complete creation as outdoor shot? It fits perfect to the sky.
  18. Just a small preview of Part II of this project. It´s just a test of using lighting elements and the possibilty to integrate them. So, forget this picture and follow the progress of the main building.
  19. I hope so, `cause I like your tweaks. "if" is just a two letter word like "do".
  20. Just a small WIP Update @ Envy I never saw a Falcon for 1000USD. The rate to get one is over 1000€.
  21. Hey Folks, yesterday I did the last BL Order. After all, the price I paid is round about 680€, which is something about 970 USD. There is my own 1500 piece stock included and all shipping costs and so on. I will do a detailed summary during the next days. regards Klaus
  22. Time for an update. Next week I will do the last BL Orders to finish the project this month. I decided to change the hard to get 1x4 slopes versus 1x3 ones. I think it doesn´t disturb the look.
  23. Truth von BobBongo auf Flickr
  24. Great, I love the asymetric use of the tiles. It provides the realistic look in a simple but effective way.
  25. It´s called Eurobricks, not USbricks.
