Ideas for New Action Themes

I think the new brown bears are pretty darn cool. I've got a pair of them. Almost as awesome as my awesome polar bears! -

I like how you did the Wing Chun "wooden" dummy. -

That new minotaur minifig is sick. The Lego Store limited me to only 16 minifig packs on Monday. I scored two of those bad boys. -
Ole Kirk was the man!

Love the roof on this one!

Monster Fighters 2012

These look awesome. The monsters were highlights of the mystery minifig collections, so it feels good on the inside to see them getting the full treatment with a theme of their own now. -

How about a Lego INSANE ASYLUM to lock up anyone who thinks Ninjago was a good move? -

Of course I would. When I'm right, I'm right. Do you want my phone number? Perhaps we could meet for coffee if you live near Orange County, California? -
The Future of Ninjago

I'm not trolling...I am supporting the continuing greatness of Lego. I am a 25+ year lover and fan of the product. If Ninjago is where you would like to see Lego move towards in the future, you must not truly enjoy the product. It is the anti-thesis. You like the story? Lego is about giving YOU, the builder, command of the story; with your own creations. Subscribing to a Cartoon Network half-hour show and the CHEAP plastic toys it spawns goes against the very things that made Lego the perfect alternative to all those other lazy toys. Shame on you. -

Ole Kirk Christiansen would roll over in his grave if he knew his company was now shilling something as RIDICULOUS as Ninjago. So, the Hillbillies at Wal-Mart recognize you and Ninjago...what an endorsement! -
The Future of Ninjago

But a ton of their sets are dramatically reduced in price at Lego.com and after X-Mas, all you could find on store shelves were Ninjago leftovers. Agreed. -
I've had more fun with the DINOS then with just about anything else I picked up in 2011 (except maybe my trains!).

Ideas for New Action Themes

Better yet...Build-a-Hero/Villain. Just a bunch of interchangeable minifig pieces and parts that allow for the creation of unique, custom characters. Like the Build-a-Mini stations and Lego Stores, but with way more/better options. Then just buildings like banks to rob, bridges to collapse, speeding locomotives to stop, etc... Heroes and Villains...choose a side! They'd never do it though, because it would conflict with licensed themes. Shame. -

Love the new DINO theme...only wish they would produce more stationary sets, i.e. facilities as opposed to being so vehicle based. -
The DINOS are definitely worth picking up. I have all but the sea plane exclusive (haven't been able to hunt it down) and multiples of the HQ and Tower Takedown. Working on a singular, massive structure. The Pick-a-Brick at Legoland theme park in Carlsbad, CA this weekend had mad yellow pieces and tiles, so I'm looking forward to expanding on this design.

You have a point...but, I think, if the sets were cool enough, even kids wouldn't be able to deny them. Skew a theme in just the right way and make the kits undeniable; even children wouldn't be able to refrain. Us big kids would be happy too. I don't know a Sponge Bob from a hole in the wall, but was compelled to buy a particular kit (or 2) simply because I couldn't resist how cool the pieces/parts were. Needed them. -
Sick bridge dude!

Monster Fighters 2012

I loved the concept of Pharaoh's Quest, but felt some of the kits didn't deliver. I loved the mummy type stuff, but the big spiders and dogs were a waste of parts. I would have loved more elaborate sets... -
Monster Fighters 2012

I must say, I am excited to see how this pans out. Kits and minis based loosely on classic, Universal monsters sounds amazing. I just hope the emphasis remains on them and less on "the fighters". We've had enough generic sort of "adventurer-looking" guys and gals over the years. And please...no more ghosts! I'm still recovering from the 90's where you got like 2 ghosts with every Castle set they made! -

Not at all. Sky Captain or Iron Giant or the whole 50's Sci-Fi theme would looking nothing like Transformers. It would actually look cool instead. -

I was at the park. It was advertised on the maps throughout; listed show times, etc... I didn't check it out because I didn't want to waste my time, but they sure were advertising it. No one was going. They have several live shows. There was some other kind with firemen and fire trucks. Didn't stop for that one either.
