  1. Bought Jokerland last week, along with Clash of the Heroes - now trying to decide what my next set should be - anyone got any suggestions at all? Preferably DC Superheroes
  2. Probably - Deathstroke has been in the recent DC Animated Original Movies, and shows up as a bad guy on Teen Titans. Deadshot is a more obscure one, for certain, but he's about to be in a major film, and has made appearances in other DC projects that children could have encountered - such as Arrow, Justice League and others.
  3. Maybe try it with blue hands? Love the legs though
  4. I'll go in for Catwoman and Joker - beyond that I can do without, I suppose. But here's hoping for a sub-200 reveal in the next week or so!
  5. The thing about the DC Universe is that there is so much content within it that I would LOVE to build. Vehicles, and bases, and lairs, and prisons, and all manner of interesting events to base sets around - but the sad fact is that Lego just don't look beyond Batman. And when they do, it's usually an OC set, like the Brainiac Attack. So I've long since given up hope on an interesting set based on a none-Batman location, and resigned myself to hopefully building a large collection of villains from across the DCU. Though I totally agree with what you're saying.
  6. If it comes out at less than £200, I'll get the set. Unless the box art is misleading and it is much bigger than it seems to be, but for that price, I want something really chunky. It could still be a great set - like you, I want this minifigs, but it does all depend on the actual reveal of the set.
  7. I am very torn on the Batcave. On the one hand, the mini figure selection is incredible, and I adore the 60s Batman series and have done all my life. On the other, if it is really £250, I simply cannot afford to lay that much money down on it. But I definitely want to get as many Catwomen as I possibly can. In fact, I'm gonna have a search for the last release of Catwoman now. About time I picked her up
  8. That's pretty cool-looking. My excitement for the summer sets is starting to build now. Anyone else expecting the 60s Batcave reveal this week? Feels about right, a month before VIP release to me - though I may just be hoping too hard.
  9. A Scar-Face would be fantastic, mainly because it's finally a brand new villain!! And it also gives me hope of somebody new in the other set (Hush Hush Hush), though I am definitely excited to see how they interpret Scarface. Would he be a brand new element?
  10. I'd love every version of Catwoman - she has as many costumes as Batman in the comics, but Lego neglect to use them. I can sort of see how she contrasts with their family-friendly approach, what with her overt sexuality in recent comics (I'm looking at you, New 52 volumes 1-3) but the fact is she is one of THE Batman villains. Only solace I can find is that it shouldn't be too long before we see her on the big screen again, and that will almost certainly result in a new minifig. I'm very excited for an opportunity to get her in the Mighty Micros, as I missed out on her last time around, and then to have an opportunity for a '66 version as well is fantastic news.
  11. My roster contains Batman, Wyldstyle, Gandalf Chell Owen ACU Trooper Homer Marty McFly The Doctor Cyborg Fully plan on getting Ghostbusters, Harley & Joker, Unikitty and the others needed for 100%.
  12. I'd love the set, but £275 is a LOT to drop on a set. I know I won't be able to resist the 66 Batcave so I'm reluctant to drop on this straight away. If it's gonna be around for a year or more, I might hold off until later in the year.
  13. I would love more Catwomans in general. Feel like the other 2 Sirens get a release each year (Harley and Ivy), but Selina is sadly neglected
  14. Oh, whats the Juniors Set Number? I hadn't heard of that - my nephew loves those. And yes, I'd love a Hush finally.
  15. Whilst I could totally see this happening, it also seems like it might not, because 2 sets with Superman have already been released this year. Also, I hope it doesn't - I would rather the slot go to a less-released, or brand new, minifigure, like Batgirl or Hush.
  16. I think my wishlist would have to be as follows Missy (Dr Who) Raven (TTG) Velma (SD) 2016 Ghostbusters Team and then go from there. I'd love variants of the existing Titans, just so I have different minifigs to those in Jokerland.
  17. I took the advice to watch the film. I now have a new favourite movie and a burning desire to spend £350 on the Firehouse, Ecto and Dimensions pack, though I really cannot afford that. Thanks a bunch
  18. I will be watching it this evening. Unfortunately I get paid on Monday and the temptation will be too strong - if D2Cs usually hang around for a couple years, I might try and hold off - this and the 66 Batcave are both tempting, but no way I can afford both sets.
  19. Just so you know, I paused reading your post after the third sentence, opened iTunes, and bought it. Just waiting for it to download. And in terms of the set, I'm ridiculously tempted by it regardless of whether I enjoy the film or not - it's an absolutely gorgeous looking set. Any idea how long it will be before it's retired?
  20. Because Marvel have 4 ongoing animated series that inspiration for sets is drawn from, which DC unfortunately do not have
  21. I'm gonna ask a really stupid question... I have never seen Ghostbusters. My parents didn't let me watch it as a kid (long story) and I've not gotten around to it in the 21 years of my life. Is this set worth buying as a non-fan, just for a fun set? The minifigs look great but I have a nagging feeling I wouldn't get enjoyment out of it as some seem to be getting.
  22. It really does - I feel that the comic sets this summer will be the last ones we get. Next year, we'll get Spoilery Batman v Superman sets in January, Wonder Woman sets in Summer. Though there is the Lego Batman movie - maybe that will finally give us Ra's and a couple other more obscures! 2018, though? Well, there's a Flash movie coming out. Maybe, just maybe, we'll finally get a Reverse Flash.
  23. I've got a mental list of figures I desire.. primary among them is Raven to complete my Titans, but would also love a whole new range of villains; Ra's Al Ghul, Hush, Mad Hatter, etc - but I assume with the DCEU starting this year, most sets from now on will feature whatever characters are in the newest film.
  24. I was building Jokerland earlier this evening and when I got to Penguin thought about how much I'd like a Mad Hatter. Shame there's been an Arkham set recently - such a good opportunity to throw some of the more obscure (but still mainstream) popular characters into a set.
  25. I am very surprised that we don't have a Ra's yet - he's quite a big deal in a lot of modern Bat-media, and Arrow too. Guess he technically hasn't had much recent exposure aimed at kids.
