Pirates and Castle theme are really one of the best themes around. Since this is a poll, and you are forcing me to choose. I will have to choose for Castle. All this time, my collection of Castle is growing. And I am fond of Medival, Fantasy era. Crazy with Knights, Dragons, Wizards and etc. Yes, Pirates is cool too. But, Castle theme is the one whom makes me stay on with LEGO. so my vote goes to Castle

Which "bird species" could be introduced to the Pirate Theme
WhiteFang replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I had voted for Seagull I will love to vote for chicken too, because it can be used for town and castle. But, since this is asked to poll for the Pirate theme, I will think Seagull will be much appropriate. -
Brickster, I am very very impressed by this Gravestone Theme. You have simply changed my views towards Wild West. Never knew, that this theme can provide such amazing ideas too. The whole thing is simply amazing. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Location: L13 (Valise Residence, Black Knights Kingdom) As Lord Kenneth and Lady Kristine taking a stroll back to their residence, one of the guards ran up to them and said “My Lord, Sir Percival had returned and is waiting at the residence.” Both hurried up and found Sir Percival is waiting for their arrival. He went up and said “My Lord, I am glad you are safe. I have heard reports of your return and make haste to return to the Capital.” Lord Kenneth lifted Sir Percival “Disperse with ceremony. I am glad that you have returned safe too. I must thank you for reporting to Master Pent from the earlier incident.” Sir Percival nodded “It’s my duty. My Lord, all border patrols had been alerted and briefed on the Black Wraith Demons incident. But, regarding on Master Aluvar, I was not able to accompany him down and provide assistance for him. However, Master Pent had dispatched Flynt Caraway from the Imperial Guards to follow in his travels.” Lord Kenneth replied “I trust Master Pent’s judgment by sending Flynt to accompany Master Aluvar. You need some rest. We will visit Master Pent later in the evening. And you, Kristine, you need to rest too.” Both of them nodded and made their way to their respective chambers.

Well, for my love of my LEGO. I always have this "bad" habit of mine. Whenever there is something new on the shelves, the tendancy for me to purchase more than two of the identical sets is always 90% chance. Why? For example, Castle theme. I will need multiple sets of Dwarf Mine Defender, Crossbow Attack, Royal Joust for army expansion. It is to relate to army building especially when such theme required heavy purchasing for making the best army ever. Furthermore, I will required at least one set open for playing and one set MISB for collection purpose as much as possible for every set that I have. The themes will span across Castle, Indiana Jones and City and sometimes Star Wars. Most of the time, when I buy more and more, it will always relate back to the basic of army building. In addition, some sets provide good parts such as the recent Jungle Duel. It will make a good parts set. These are the reasons that will tempt me to purchase multiple sets.

I am very impressed with the new addition The whole carriage looks real impressive. I wonder how long will your train be when its all combined. The swivel of your cannon was unexpected. It looks real cool and amazing. Can I assume that the AA guns are controlled by the main frame?

Last night, I watched Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark. The first movie which was produced in 1981. I really enjoyed watching the actions and its plot. Very nice indeed. Now, I am able to relate my Indiana Jones set better as why they are created in such manner. Will continue the trilogy and finish it soon before hitting to the big screen, Crystal Skull

Location: L13 (Outside of Imperial Tavern, Black Knights Kingdom) As the trio walking towards Imperial Tavern, the fabulous aroma caught them. Diana smiled “I certainly missed the pork ribs. They served the best ribs in this kingdom.” Both of them were smiling away as they walked into the tavern. A loud voice shouted across “Hey, the three of you. Will you like to taste some nice juicy ribs? There is a table over here. Come on.” Diana led the both of them to the table and speaks to the innkeeper. “I will like to have one signature dish and a couple of drinks. You know the usual.” The innkeeper took down their orders and shouted to the kitchen “One Imperial Ribs for this table.” “Well, let’s chat over our meal. The food will take a moment or two. So, what are your plans at the moment? I intend to investigate the earlier incident which happened earlier. I feared it will be too dangerous for the both of you to join me.”

The Dark Knight versus Bane the Executioner
WhiteFang replied to Batbrick's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice one, Batbrick! Just like to give u some suggestion, maybe you can offer Bane, a black nose cone helmet. I think it will suit him pretty well Btw, how come I cannot see the Dark Knight's eyes? -
KDog, amazing!!! I did not expect you to churn out Indiana Jones too and relate it to your current comic script. Wonderful, will be looking forward to your next 2 updates.

Your story is well-told. I like the whole carriage design, I wonder how many of these do you have? The whole carriage matches very well. Maybe, if possible, can you provide us a pic of the whole combined train set It looks real amazing from what I see.
-
Haha Of course, she is. Maybe, we can discuss our future plans together. Because Diana have a mission of her own too. But it will not be reveal so soon. Think she need to help her kingdom to chase those Black Wraith Demons. It will take awhile, I guess.

Wow, Alyss certainly make a great and unexpected exit out of the Ravine. Was wondering if Flynt was expecting it from her. Dragonator, Lord Calvin had an unpleasant incident in his room. A shadow assassin appeared from his door and began his assault. Luckily, Shadow Spear is in Lord Calvin's possession protected him in his sleep. However, this incident had proved that something dark and sinister is arising from the treaty. Concluding certain possibilites, it might be an insider job. We will required Dragonator to give us some clues to assist us to uncover the culprit. Cecil must be a very nice girl. Maybe, over dinner, Diana will be able to understand our new friend better.

Location: M10 (In Ravine Tavern, Dromindur) Just as the shadow creeping through Lord Calvin’s bed, a glimmering green light shines at the corner of the room. The shadow was surprised, immediately cast his blade towards Lord Calvin. The green light thrust forward and appeared in front of the shadow. The shadow charged front and swirl its blade towards the light and a loud clang was heard. It woke Lord Calvin and turned his attention immediately to the shadow and shouted “Who are you? Why are you in my room?” The shadow thrust his sword again without hesitation. Lord Calvin dodged it and realized that “Shadow Spear” has been protecting him against the shadow. Lord Calvin grabbed shadow spear and attack the shadow. It was dark and he could not have a clear visibility. Lord Calvin noticed around “You are a very good assassin, able to hide your aura very well too. I will sniff you out.” Lord Calvin shouted “Shadow Bind.” The spear was emitting green light in the room and discover his location. Thus, he is able to charge towards the attacker. The attacker evades his move. Suddenly, Karen and few soldiers came in and saw the commotion “My Lord, are you all right?” She saw the attacker and took aim from her crossbow and shot. But all are missed. The assassin broke the window and jumped out of the room. When the both of them looked out of the window, the assassin is nowhere to be found. Lord Calvin immediately issued an order “Inform Dragonator about this incident. I want him to investigate the cause. I can’t believe that there is a security lapse. Lee has covered the whole area unless it is an attack from inside. Men, the assassin is highly skilled. Be careful. Conduct a thorough search in this area. He will not go far.” Karen and the rest of the soldiers immediately response to his orders and execute. Location: L13 (In Capital, Black Knights Kingdom) Diana smiled “Of course Cecil. I am very welcomed to have you joined us. It’s great to have more companions. I am sure we will enjoy much fun.” As the trio walked, Diana suggested “How about a dinner at Imperial Tavern? They served the best local food in this region. I will love to know more about you and Siloux.”

LEGO AGENTS - Mission 1: Jetpack Pursuit
WhiteFang replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Oky Wan, thanks for this wonderful review! I really have mixed feelings towards Agents set. Haha, but I love the Agent mini-figure. The double-sided face is great and I love the sunglass look. It's nice that they made use of Mutt's hairpiece which is personally my fave hairpiece at the moment The jet-pack is neat. Making use of the additional secure backing onto the mini-fig is really very smart. -
Brickster, I am so impressed by your Ghost Train. The whole train send across a great message, Superb Outstanding! The whole look and feel is perfect. By using black to illustrate the train is a good thing. Black is great! The light brick, is defintely a smart one Overall, I love this train very much!

Nice illustration! I love the way you create your abandoned ruins of an old fortress. It clearly indicates that. The story is well-summarised too. Furthermore, Forestmen is my fave. Personally, I have only one complain. Don't worry, it's not very big I always feel that Forestmen should used bows and arrows instead of using crossbow. Just curious, why you let the sentry used a crossbow.

KD, this is a nice little neat impulse set. Every City will need such sets around. Maybe, in the future, you can build a supermarket too

Review: 7888 Batman - The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise
WhiteFang replied to brickbitz's topic in LEGO Licensed
That is a very nice and quick review! Thanks for giving us a quick summary. Not much comments on this set, as I do not really go into Batman theme yet. However, the ice cream truck in the set interest me. Apart from that, nothing much yet. Who knows, maybe I will change my mind in the future. -
I just got back from the movies with my girlfriend and I managed to catch this movie. Trust me, sam89 is right. Watch it for yourself to determine whether this movie is good. To me, my only complaint is that the visual image is running too fast and I can't see it clearly with so much bright colors. Nevertheless, the plot and the cars are tasty. Overall, most importantly, after viewing the movie, I start to relate myself to the Speed Racers set. Clearly, it looks much better in my mind now! Woooshhhhhhhhhhhh
