black falcon army by nausicaakro
Peg Leg Pascoe replied to nausicaakro's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow great armies and models! i like how you stayed to just using old smiling faces for the armies, i love the old castle series. And you have some great models in that display case. As i am a big pirate fan I love your Imperial Guards and Soldiers and BSB although in my opinion i prefer the Skulls Eye Schooner :-P -
Pics of the Agents Line
Peg Leg Pascoe replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't really like these new sets at all. I like the idea but it all looks a bit mixed up and random, as some are boats, planes and a jungle set. Maybe people like that but i prefer more of a structure and either a land/sea/road theme to sets, not all of them in one. -
Yeah i think just keep it basic: a table, chairs and a chest of draws or cupboard. I always like fine details such as maps on the walls or books or something.

At the moment I'm addicted to Papa Roach, love the album 'Infest'. And as for random tracks then its 'Carry On My Wayward Son' by Kansas, i love the riff and only just discovered this song as its on the end of Anchorman which is the best move ever made. Period.

Cheers *sweet* At the moment I'm working on a small Pirate ship and a huge Stealth Jet, also rebuilding the #6286 Skull's Eye Schooner but I'm waiting for a couple of pieces from BrickLink to come for that. Also I've jazzed up the old Avy and Sig, hope you like them X-D

Preference of Imperial Guard Epaulette colour
Peg Leg Pascoe replied to Peg Leg Pascoe's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ohh i see brown is pretty popular. I like brown Epaulettes on Imperials with matching brown Tri-corns which looks really good. -
Official LEGO Stories as Printed on Pirates Boxes
Peg Leg Pascoe replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Pirates
Great idea to keep them all here, really cool to see Lego give their proper stories! -

Nice to meet you too *sweet* heres a bit more about myself: I have been a big fan of Lego since i was about 5 and i am now 17 and I still enjoy building models for something creative to do. I went through my dark ages leaving Lego from about the age of 13 till about early 2007 and now as I'm a very bored 17 year old i love creating different models and never realized what a huge community of people of all ages there was on the net, so i definitely feel at home here. *sweet* My favorite theme of Lego is by far the Pirate sets. They were my first Lego sets i got and the first real big set i built was the Skull's Eye Schooner #6286 pirate ship. That is probably still one of my all time favorite sets as it looked very realistic and was great fun to play with back then. I have always been more into the vehicles or mobile creations rather than the bases or stationary sets. I liked maybe having a big stationary set as then i could keep my mobile creation by it. I have also never really been into Lego Technic, i went through a phase of liking it but then it just gets kinda boring as its a bit harder than Lego to build a cool model. So as I'm older now and really don't like the new Lego creations like the new knights series and the really stupid bionicle bases and stuff. The new Lego sets of today are nothing compared to the good old Pirate or Knight sets back in the 90's. So i just sort out my old Lego now and have an idea of what to build then build it.

Hey guys! I joined just before Christmas and have spent most of my time in the good old Pirate Forum but have now branched out a bit and checked out all the other awesome themes, this is a great community and i couldn't hope for anything better X-D I just wondered if anyone knew where i could find some plane mocs? or where to discuss Lego aircraft? I thought maybe Town/City would be the best place unless there's a more obvious one I'm missing? Thanks.

Thanks! theres some really good examples there! There's a lot then! I'll check them out on Peeron, cheers!

Preference of Imperial Guard Epaulette colour
Peg Leg Pascoe replied to Peg Leg Pascoe's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yeah sure, good idea *sweet* There's Blue, Brown, Red, White and Yellow X-D -
I want to know which colour Epaulette you guys like best on the Imperial Guards (Red Coats)? I just don't think blue really suits them and I much prefer yellow and maybe even brown. Also its about 1 for just one Blue Epaulette which is crazy as its one of the smallest pieces there is. So what colour is your favourite?

I have just got into the Imperial Guards (Red Coats) but i want some variety in their faces as most just have normal plain eyes and a smile. I saw a picture which i think was someones sig of some Imperial Guards with new heads such as Qui Gon Jinn and others which looks great but i just can find that pic anymore. Does anyone have any pics of Imperial guards with new heads which looks really good? as i would like to mix up the heads on mine a bit. Thanks.

I definitely prefer Red Coats as they were introduced around the time i got into Pirate Lego and I prefer Red way over Blue (Manchester United supporter X-D )

I'm really liking all these map designs, they look great!
-
Great movie, i hope they do more but the only thing i didn't like was the portrayed cowardliness of the pirates. Mine sure wouldn't give up that easy!!
-
Its the big main one with a skull and crossbones on it, if you could rescan it as 1:1 scale that would be great *sweet*
-
Woah thats great i had no idea that library was there, thanks! I think i will just stick to white then, to be honest black looks a bit too evil and stuff too and my pirates on my SES ain't all that bad X-D EDIT: The only problem is that those scans aren't 1:1, do you know anywhere that has them to scale?

I am going to make some nice custom sails for my Skull's Eye Schooner and just wondered what colours did actual ships have their sails? i was just going to make the obvious white but was thinking black may look good but i want it to be realistic at the same time, so were there any ships with black sails? Also i really need a scan template for the 24 x 25 big sail on my Skull's Eye Schooner which is the same size as the ones with the crossed cannons on the 6271 Imperial Flagship and was wondering if anyone has a full size scan that i could use as a template for the right size for my custom sail? Thanks.

I am really bored so took some pictures of what they actually look like: With the Black Helmet With the Grey Helmet And here's how you make them higher, just with two round flat 1x1 pieces, Black first or Grey first so the colour matches the back of the Helmet To be honest i think it looks almost perfect and if you really wanted them gold just spray paint them or something, it isn't much hassle.

Yeah it was only made in grey and black: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/3896
