Yeah i was thinking that too, cuz if it just sat like a little lower on the guys head it would look perfect, so all you would need is like 2x black round 1x1 pieces put them on the dudes head and it should look perfect.

This is a nice set but i have always just preferred the Skull's Eye Schooner as it was my first main Lego set and i like the extra cannons and it looks slightly bigger. The thing is I'm sure if i got the Black Seas Barracuda instead then I'd probably like that one too. Its just the memories i have of playing with the SES under a little table in the living room, preparing all the cannons, moving the rudder via the actual ships wheel and gathering treasure from those damn Islanders, Good times *sweet*

That's a really nice ship, i really like the colour scheme and the different levels. Did you base it on a real life ship or picture? Do you know how many bricks there are yet? Anyway, good job man! *sweet*

Good explanation but don't forget the Cornish Celts! I live in Cornwall, England and strongly believe that we should be a separate legal entity from England. Theres more on it here We had lots of Pirates come from down here as we're right at the bottom of England and there's some great ships in a town called Charlestown about 15miles from where i live. Theres an Article on it here Just my 2 cents lol and I'm really bored atm X-D Oh and there's also a pirate locked up there named Peg Leg Pascoe and as my surname's Pascoe i thought it would be quite fitting as a username *sweet*

And me *sweet* The reason i love Pirates is that the first ever proper Lego set i got was the Skull's Eye Schooner and it was fun to be evil in a nice (and the best) big ship. I did used to feel sorry for the Islanders though as they would always just get slaughtered and have all their treasure stolen. I never actually got into the whole soldiers thing, i just stuck with Pirates vs. Islanders so i guess only Islanders fans can have beef with me X-D At the moment I'm in the process of rebuilding my Skull's Eye Schooner and have just got the remaining parts i need from BrickLink, i can't wait to build and see it again as its been about 12 years :'-) I'm also super pleased I've found this forum, every topic really appeals to me as I'm a huge Pirate Lego fan and its nice to top up on all the knowledge of you guys and see your awesome moc's.

It look great, the ropes look awesome now and it must have taken a while to get them all right, nice job man :)
