Well thought out and I too like the back drop. Get's my vote. LMW -
well done. I wish I had time to just kick something like that out. School is killing me! LMW

Latest updates on LEGO set sales
Legoman of War replied to gylman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I was going to put of the Helm's Deep at Walmart for $89 but someone beat me to it. Sweet Deal! I had to pick one up LMW -
The Watchtower Of Amon Sûl.
Legoman of War replied to TheBrickAvenger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That is an excellent depiction and not over done. Nice LMW -
That is a very impressive piece. The overall attention to detail and the flow is awesome. One thing I like is that it provides a constant interest no matter where you look. It is n ot over done in the least. When you say it took a month to complete, is that 8 hours a day of what? LMW

It was more of an FYI versus making a complaint. I am aware of the process and was stating a current status. If you look closely there is no question in my post. Once again, asking first would have avoided being flamed. Maybe if Darkdragon had stated the way you did, he wouldn't have gotten the reaction he did. LMW

Not confused in the least bit. How about this, if you want to make a nasty comment, why don't you send me a message directly instead of showing your ignorance and trying to call someone out publicly. If you don't want to see what I typed, then don't open the thread. LMW

I am able to process orders now but still unable to add any new inventory. LMW

I saw the other night Bricklink was down for emergency maintenance. The site is back up but I am unable to list any new parts. I keep getting an error message. Does anyone have any insight to this? I have sent a message to the technical assistance portion of the site but they sometimes can take a while. LMW

I just got Shelob Attacks and Mines of Moria from the Lego store. I did it because they weren't out locally and to get the Hulk mini fig. I just saw walmart had numerous Pirates and Harry Potter sets on sale so I might be getting a few of those as well. LMW

Nice, good on you for sharing a good deal with a kid. This beats the sight of a grown adult feeling up mini fig packs or baseball cards or searching all the matchbox cars for the rare ones. I know people collect these things but they are for kids! Not to get off the topic to far but I like this set. Small sets are difficult as the pieces have to be selected for the correct effect. The one thing I don't care for is the head on the figure. It could have been a better selection. LMW

Those are great. The fact that they function is even better. LMW

I have had this sitting on the dhelf for a while and decided to put it together today. I really enjoyed this build. It's one that was very satisfying. Lots of playability. My 5 year old loves it as much as I do. LMW

Review: 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep
Legoman of War replied to Lego Otaku's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for the great review. Being addicted to most things lego along with my 5 year old, we will most definitely pick this up. If I can afford 2 I will but that is a stretch. I have Mines of Moria and Shelob attacks on order. Awesome! LMW -
[MOC] LOTR Argonath: King of the Western Shore
Legoman of War replied to ShaydDeGrai's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It never fails to amaze me the level of creativity and imagination I see on this board everytime I come on here. This is an awesome creation! LMW -
I think this set definitely needs an additional figure. The fourth would even it up. Additionally, the tower needs something. Maybe a small wall outcropping on each side would give it more meat to the set. LMW

I'm excited about those new LOTR sets but...
Legoman of War replied to SheepEater's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I like this quote. Bottom line is that if you enjoy the sets then build more. Don't have the pieces? Then purchase/trade/aquire them. My problem is I enjoy most of the sets so I am limited to how many I get! Pirates, Castle, Star Wars, Harry Potter LMW -
REVIEW:9471 Uruk-hai Army
Legoman of War replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Awesome review. It just reinforces my desire to buy these sets! LMW -
I like it. I started to build a smaller scale MOC but my non existant time has it relegated to work in progress for six months. Greaat inspiration for me to start. LMW

Do it. Change is good LMW

6280 Armada Flagship alternate models instructions
Legoman of War replied to Black Flag Sailor's topic in LEGO Pirates
Try rebrickable.com. There are alternate builds for sets. I don't know if they have that one though but it's worth a look. LMW -
Anyone thought of using Tapatalk? It works well with several forums I'm on. LMW

I have this set still in the box at home. I might have to break it out and build it. I hope this theme doesn't go away. LMW

Review: LotR 9469 Gandalf Arrives
Legoman of War replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It looks to be a nice entry level set. Gandalf and Frodo appear to be the reason to get this one. The cart appears to be nothing earth shattering. This will be on the purchase list more because my son will want it. I think it's comparable to other licensed low level sets. LMW
