Just 5 minutes agoo i have upload mine creation for the contest. It's a modern version off the double headed cabine Dakar truck from Jan de Rooy. I didn't make a real copy off that truck because off the licence for Lego too make a Daf truck. I hope you like it. Greets Edwin This is the real Dakar Truck from Jan de Rooy. Thanks Effe, I hope whe get a lot more good moc's for the contest. for what i have now seen the last day's there only a couple off nice moc's online by the lego site. the most are not based at the 9398 chassis or stolen photo's by us and some other builders. I hope that the best idea wins

I think TLG have NO designers anymore and this contest is the most cost reducing way to cut in there budget. I wil past for this contest and hope that TLG will come up for a good contest the next time!!??

What i read is that the red chassis and wheels is the working base and whe must design a body for it, what can be rebuild for kids and adults, so whe can do crazy and juse a lots off parts, but than TLG said it's too expensive, whe must think as a TLG designer and create a great body what have a nice color palet and it's not too expensive. Olso whe can put 1 entry per person. Lets hope that the best design wins, and not what the best is for TLG

Realy good Caterpillar sariel Olso the locking diffs are great, can you control it by the remote?? The turning back off the hamster is fun too see

you can changes the chassis color but TLG don't changes color off the chassis at the winning body

Welcome at EB Paul B, Your LDD looks good, but what Alasdair Ryan already said it's too high and tall, keep going fine tuning it.

I think that Effe have right, but we must wait a couple off more days and than we no it. What i don't hope that the contest is only a LDD design!!??

Yes it's sure was a legend and at the 1988 version off it olso the last fastest Dakar truck ever and was faster than the cars

Nice Wip Moc already. At the first i thougt it must be a hotrod, but when i look longer and see the back it's olso could be a Stockcar, only the roll cage is missing. Keep going your good work and let us now off your progess Edit: I find some video what i mean of the first looks at your WIP what came up at mine mind Iceland offroad racing whit V8 stockcars
