I think SOT is doing some MOC's about it (in his story)? Welcome my dear fellow Guildmember! That wealth and health will be there for you! -
The StoneRoda (Mitgardia) Connection. ("The Chronicles of Lord Damaximus", Part II: "Rise of Mpya Stedor" - Chapter XIII written by Geshi Edeh Nihs) (note: the author wrote the book seen from the perspective of Damaximus) We Kaliphlins are traders. Some of us warriors, but most of us traders. And that's how we make money. But our traders, they got a hard life. Being on the move almost every day, they long for sleep in a comfortable bed, with good food (most preferable food from their homeland) and with the certitude of a safe night. So when the Head Trader Of Mitgardia, Nohr Mahn, asked for permission to build an embassy in Stoneroda in exchange for their embassy in Mpya Stedor, I approved pronto. It's a very cold climate there in Mitgardia, so I sent a ship full of warm temperature looking stones to Stoneroda. Not so long after it arrived, my scout came to tell me the construction was already finished. That's how I like it, no nonsens, fast and reliable! And my scout loved it too, this time, he hadn't to run throughout Historica, he just came along with the Mitgardian delegation and their resources. Well, I am happy he didn't get lost in Avalonia again! Mitgardian are a great people. They are similar to the guys from Atlarka, the coldes region in the continent where I am born. And as everybody already knows, Atlarka is my favourite foreign one. So is Mitgardia here in Historica. Feared warriors, strong, unafraid, reliable and good workers! But enough talking for now. These are the paintings of the buildings: ===> Embassy in Stoneroda: My link ===> Embassy in Kaliphlin: My link The difficulties with the embassy in the Claw Breaker Area are almost solved. Let enjoy those peacefull times and celebrate the power of Kaliphlin! Lord Damaximus ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: - After the deadline for the embassies and the upload of the pictures of my palace, I will totally edit the whole Mpya Stedor Topic. Every post of my will become like this one (Chapter, etc...) with much more story etc... ! - And the Claw Breakers Area Embassy will be posted soon. I will try to make the tentsails tomorrow, otherwise I will have to make a story about the missing tent sails!
-
Tomorrow, I will be in the big city and will buy the paperwork, so tomorrow evening, I will have to cut the sails out. Pictures will be for Wednesday as I have a lot of collegework to do tomorrow evening

Nice use of Mitgardian colours in the tower! Also, I like the playability by removing easily the rooftop, so great job!

(out of character) I made this with the leftover bricks from my Palace and Embassy for Nocturnus, so it was originally not really planned to build this. Also, the 2 guards with yellow shield are in fact 2 knights of the Warrior Guild of Mpya Stedor, but in this MOC, they are just 2 Mitgardians passing by. And there is a big possibility that this building will be re-used in the future, but in Mpya Stedor (without the roof and snow). (in character) Stoneroda On a very cold morning somewhere a few weeks ago, the Mpya Stedor Mitgardian headtrader, Sir Nohr Mahn, had to stay in the city of Stoneroda (if it's still ok for Kabel) due the unnormal quantity of snow. After talking with the chiefs of the colourful city, Nohr Mahn made the genious plan to make a small Kaliphlin Embassy on a free spot. He knew Lord Damaximus would support him with this embassy, so he started looking around for some materials and people to help him found the Embassy. Even it was freezing cold, the Embassy was ready before most Berserkers even noticed there was a small constructionsite in their town. Now Sir Nohr Mahn could finally have a home for himself and still being the head trader of Mpya Stedor for the Mitgardia Region. The backside: Hope you like it! For myself, I am very pleased with the result as the amount of available bricks was sort of a handicap for me

Viking Drakar, the ''Bølgerammer''
Maxim I replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Since I was a little child, Vikings were my most favorite soldiers/era ever. I have to say, you did a splendid job by building this drakar! -
Nice embassy!!! It really fits in Nocturnus! haha, I like how your mage is converting the lava into Ice Even I am from Kaliphlin, I only doubt about the Avalonian Elf staying there. I am pretty sure those 2 Nocturnians visiting are there for capturing the Elf

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Maxim I replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
In celebration of the finally finished Mpya Stedor Palace (photo's one of the next days), Lord Damaximus organised a small military parade (also pictures to be expected one of the next days). The military count: 96 soldiers, knights, ninja's, crossbowmen, pikemen, ... serving the honour of Kaliphlin and the city of Mpya Stedor! In these dark times (were Avalonia and Nocturnus are not longer hiding their plans to attack eachother), Lord Damaximus hopes that this parade makes his enemies change their minds and don't start a war with Kaliphlin... But to play it really safe, he sent a letter to his brother (Mattiximus, high lord and king of the Guild of Ximus far far away) to ask for some reinforcements as Ximus has signed a peacethreaty with all it's neighbours. He especially hopes his brother will send some of the Ximus Elite-squads. -
Nice! So smoothly detailed!! Really great job doing this!

Even inside Historica, there are even clans who doesn't obey one of the Guilds and are independent (the mummies at the Rakath Mountains for example). I am quite sure, and I think everybody in here is that with an inevitable confrontation, they mean war between the Guilds and that's the point I tried to show with last post To make it more simple, I'll quote the post of ISC: Race against race, clan against clan, shields clashed with swords; long ago when Men of the Lion fought Men of the Falcon, and human armies succumbed to Orcs and undead. Each group clashed with its neighbor for power, unleashing upon the world a great scourge, and the arcane land was thrown into chaos. When it all seemed but lost, a council of wise men and sages was summoned. From all the lands they came to convene in the old world’s great city; the fortress of Cedrica. To settle the grievance and end a millennium of bloodshed, the sages declined all the treaties of old and joined all the clans into one mighty Kingdom; Historica. They founded the Four Great Regions- each one a realm in itself; - Mitgardia in the North, Nocturnus in the East, Kaliphlin in the South and Avalonia in the West, so that trade routes would spring up and clans would meet in the markets and not in the theatre of war. The wise men chose a family of great honor, to uphold the truce and to keep the four guilds from dispute, and descendants of that mighty kin to this day rule the Central lands of Historica. So goes the legend. For ten decades the races of old have migrated and spread through the world, following the trade routes, establishing cultures and prospering towns. It is a world of wonder and natural beauty; a realm where a man and a woman may find peace. But peace is short lived… Treacherous assassins have tried to murder the King! The capital is in shock and there will be repercussions; the Four Regions assemble their forces as the balance of power shifts, and blame is passed around. For the first time in a century, the guilds of Historica build up old defenses and prepare for the inevitable confrontation; everything hangs in the balance, and Historica is on the verge of chaos once more… Guildsmen; this is the world you inhabit, this is the place where you will make your fortune, build a mighty empire and battle for the glory and honor of the banner… Of course nobody has to follow this, but in my opinion, it's far more better if we all stick to the same historyscheme. Another important note: the back ground of many minifigs in historica: Some say they lived or served Avalonia already for more than X years before they emerged, or became someting else or ... . If Avalonia is only 2 years old, then how could they be so proud of being from Avalonia? And now on psychological base. If Avalonia joined after the 3 other Guilds signed a peacethreaty and accepted Cicardia as their sovereign (so Cicardia controls the 3), it would mean that Mitgardia, Nocturnus and Kaliphlin made peace and that there is a hugh green, vegitable land in the west of them with no rules or peacethreaties with those 3? Considering Avalonia is 2 years old, that makes that the 3 oldern Guilds had 98 years time to build an army, what makes around 4 generations! Well, I am pretty sure every sir in Mitgardia, Kaliphlin and Nocturnus with an army belonging to him, would have tried to conquer small parts of nowadays Avalonia to colonise. And due the peace, they would have no worries of the other Guilds attacking those colonies, only smaller tribes and clans could have done this. I think everybody will agree with this. So that makes next point: Artorius Rex conquered with an army of an incredible size the lands of Avalonia. Following the logica of last point: the western lands were colonies of Mitgardia, Kaliphlin and Nocturnus. So that means there was a war Between Avalonia vs. Kaliphlin & Mitgardia & Nocturnus. Wich ended 2 years ago with Avalonia as winner and the other 3 as losers. => Totally fine by me, but the moment the war will start again, Avalonia will be the first one who will be attacked as the recent lost war is still fresh in mind of the other 3...

Another big fault in the Avalonia History Theory (AHT): a) 1 year of peace exists considering Avalonia is 2 years old. No problem with this b) Nowadays, the Guilds are rallying their troops again to prepare for dark times. (cfr. : "inevitable confrontation" in the history of Historica described by ISC) So, according to the AHT, the peace between Avalonia and the other Guilds will be maximum 2 years before it disappears... No disrespect, but that must be the most phoniest threaty ever....
