  1. Cute babydragon For sure a mighty weapon, as Avalonians will try to hug this dragon instead of killing it
  2. It is useless to say words like 'amazing, stunning, ...' as these would be only understatements... Only 2 bad the pictures are not always clear
  3. I only can say this: Maybe one day, you all will understand why Historica need the Drow as rulers. As we humans and all other creatures (even from the underground) will have the same enemy, an enemy we can't fight on us own... That moment, every Guild will be on its own, as all other Guilds have their own war to fight or are simply not used to survive in eachothers climate. All my scouts and spies have the same thing to report: "night is coming"
  4. Hmm, nice! I think I will try this out for one of the noblemen residences in Mpya Stedor! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In other news: Dear brothers and sisters of Kaliphlin, our great Guild has a new outpost, almost impossible to conquer: ==> The Ruins of Everlast <== (click link to see the topic) I know ruins doesn't sound like a very thrustworthy fortress, but the maingate is almost completely intact and it is the only way to enter Everlast. Don't forget the myths! Ji'fall besieged this fortress for years before he it fell! Siegeweapons simply can not be transported in the Rakathmountains Well, now it's home to the Intelligence Agency of Mpya Stedor. Also, in the future, I will put my version of Challenge 3 in it (as freebuild) and probably I will use the topic to write more stories about the I.A.M.S. The first story is already full of intriges by the way...
  5. "She hired some surfecers with lighter tones of skin, dressed them in green and paid their leaders to make camps in Avalonians forests, and launch raids on Mitgardia. She also hired other groups of humans to do the same, just from Mitgardian soil. And not even the leaders of these bandits new that their employers were Drow, as she used intermediary on intermediary." The only organised Drowgroups are in Avalonia, not Mitgardia. In Mitgardia, the drow are infiltrated in bandit-groups. But those already existed in the past in Mitgardia... There is no incline in the number of group of bandits, so that means technically that nothing changed... .
  6. Just amazing!! Very nice idea for making the balloon! Also great detailing of the cabin
  7. I got 2 Idea books, when I was young, I just loved to look to the pictures as there were so many funny details in it!... *sigh*
  8. Nice entrance! The only remark I got is that you may start using red flags now (together with the blue) Mpya Stedor has already sent a trade-delegation to your city edit: I especially love the wall on your first picture!
  9. 1. Prelude Thousands of years ago, Kaligem controlled every corner of Historica. Well, almost every corner. The last bastion they had to conquer was Everlast. Deep in the Rakath Mountains. Well, every child knows this story so, I won't tell it again... (History of Kaliphlin) Ages after the event, Kaliphlin Wise men wondered who The Dark Wizard really was and why Ji'Fall was interested in Everlast, a desolated fortress deep inside the mountains? But no one knew the answer... So people started to tell the stories as "myths", to scare their children so they would behave like they should. As very young boy, Geshi Edeh Nis was fascinated by the myths and after university, he started searching for evidence. Quite succesfull, he found drawings on the walls of the oldest buildings of Cedrica and elements from Kaligem all over Historica. He became Professor History at the Free University of Petraea, but he still missed something in his life: the location of Everlast or Kaligem. Years passed, he met Lord Damaximus, they became good friends and he received a seat at the Mpya Stedor University. Still doing research after the "myth of Kaligem" without any result. He gave up Kaligem, as digging up this city would cause too much trouble. But he must find Everlast! The problem he had was that stories are slightly changed after so many years. Everlast was not in the North-East corner of Historica, but in the north-east corner of Kaliphlin! The moment he realised that, was the moment the High King demanded his vassals to search for the Crystal. The puzzle became clear for Geshi. Ji'Fall was looking for the "Water Diamond" which was located in Kaliphlin! And the Dark Wizard was one of the four Druids defending it! He immediately started an expidition into the Rakath Mountains. Aided by a Genius, Kahnee East, he finally found the ruins of Everlast!!! 2. The Water Crystal (My brother still has the camera where the pictures of Challenge 3 are on...) Will be written soon... 3. Ruins of Everlast, Kaliphlin Outpost and home of the The I.A.M.S. I.A.M.S. ? => Intelligence Agency Mpya Stedor. A bunch of spies, assassins, scouts, diplomats, ninja's, gladiators, ... What happened to the Crystal? The future will tell this... But Lord Max Samu (leader of the I.A.M.S.) gained control over the ruins. It was a perfect place for his men to train and impossible to conquer as there is only small way to Everlast. Lord Damaximus headed back to Mpya Stedor to find some transportation devices to transport the wealth from Everlast to Mpya Stedor. Meanwhile, Lord Max Samu received a small delegation from the Drow. To which he gave something (orders from Lord Damaximus). (Lord Max Samu with 2 Elite Samurai) (Slave holding the stuff) (Some of the Drow: 2 Guards and Lady Donke Rrood) Max: "it took us some time to track them down..." Donke: "You are sure they are the right ones?" Max: "Myths and legends always have something true in them, the only difficulty is to know what is false." Donke (grints): "Many trouble?" Max: "Let's say the I.A.M.S. proved theirself and some Historicans don't have to work anymore. Not necessarily because they gained a lot of money..." Donke: "I like your way of talking. But how you knew which was false? If I remember right, there were some problems as well with finding this place..." Max: "Myths are told as riddles, solve one and you can solve most of them. But it's with that first one you get the trouble" Donke: "Let's hope so... May I ask you why there are also soldiers here?" Max: "They weren't needed in Mpya Stedor yet. And let me show you Everlast, something will become clear then!" Donke: "As you wish, I'll let my guards here so they can watch over the slave" (Outside training ground: Ninja's climbing, Ninja's shooting arrows, Knifemasters practicing and Gladiators fighting. Also notice the legendary Ereh Ahn Roblaw guarding the gate!) Donke: "Impressive, it's perfect to train here!" Max: "Indeed, that's why we claimed the ruins. It is also a perfect outpost for Kaliphlin! In the corner you see the barracks behind that darkgreen plant. Soldiers of Mpya Stedor are controlling the area, looking for trouble! But let me show you now something stunning!" Donke: "Not bad! You can buy a decent army with this..." Max: "Indeed... The Dark Wizard was not a poor beggar..." Donke: "Not afraid that an army comes to here to steal it?" Max: "I am only afraid their wifes would never see their husbands again... Trust me, we invaded this fortress the only way it was possible, out of the sky. But we have some nice surprises for copy-cats! And by the way, Lord Damaximus returns soon with an army to transport everything away from here. Then those guys hanging right above us can use the whole cave to train..." Donke: "Wow, they are real acrobats... " Max: "They are born to avoid falling down before their target" ... back at the Great Hall of Everlast (or what remains) ... Donke: "Thank your Lord for the support, our Mother will not forget those who are loyal to her." Max: "We don't forget our friends when they are in trouble." Donke: "One last question... Are you affraid of us?" Max (laughs out loudly): "We respect the Drow and we know their strength is unseen. But we don't fear you. Conquering Kaliphlin is madness as there is only desert and sun, things Drow don't like. Also you need us as we got the connections with other continents. And if an enemy ever approaches our city, they will kill themself while looking up to see how high our walls are." Donke (smiles): "That are indeed the stories I hear from our traders. I will soon visit Mpya Stedor myself to speak with Lord Damaximus. I am already looking forward! You don't miss your city here?" Max: "My city was destroyed when I was a child. I became an Alleenridder, a soldier of honour who survived on his own. Just like Lord Damaximus and all other Knights of Mpya Stedor. Our home is in our heart, as beautiful as our mind want..."
  10. Kaliphlin Times: 28/05 Avalonian Warmoning by Menshe Idisra Ar, Professor Sociology at the Mpya Stedor University and the Free University of Petraea Still, it is frightening how fast Avalonia declared the War to fight in Nocturnus after the Drow declared their Rebellion... I mean, if I remember right, we already got those rebellions in the past: - The rise of the mage (directed by SoT) - main goal: to rule all-over Historica by sieging Cedrica - Defenders of Old Order: only the Royal Knights and Mitgardian Soldiers as the Rebels are active in their region - The Rebelion in Avalonia (directed by ???) - The only thing I remembered of this story is a guy who had to kill a Drow (which was captured and defendless by the way) and ran away ..... - The Rebelion in Mitgardia (directed by ???) - Also here I don't remember everything, just that a Mitgardian made a MOC where he explains his rebellion - Also here no other Guild declared war against the rebels - The Rebelion in Kaliphlin where Dextrus Flagg became the new leader. As far as I know, this was also a Guild-related thing without any other Guild helping one of both sides... - The Rebelion in Avalonia where Artorius Rex became the new leader. Also no signs of interfering from other Regions... - ... So to make a long story short: "Why does Avalonia declares war the moment the Drow started a rebellion?". They have absolute no interests in Nocturnus unlike Mitgardia (playground for Nocturnian creatures) and Kaliphlin (traders). They hate Nocturnus even without the Drow as they are the total opposite of eachother. Of course you can defend Avalonia by saying : * "The Drow are a threat to Historica the moment they have the power in Nocturnus". I will not question that, but then you have to think by yourself: what is the difference between now and then? ===> Nothing. By conquering Nocturnus, the Drow will be as powerful as now. They only spare their alliances they have now. They don't trust people who first fought against them and then offered their allegiance... * "The Drow have provoked Avalonia to much" Again this is true. BUT, not only the Drow... Many Nocturnians and even Kaliphlins and Mitgardians have mocked with Avalonian stereotypes in the past. I can even add that the Drow never hurt an Avalonian in the past! Unlike the fact that Drow were chased, tortured and killed by the Avalonians!! * "The Drow are spying non-stop" That's just racism... There are even more Drow in Kaliphlin as in Avalonia and Mitgardia together! But here we accept them as who they are and we trade with them. In Mitgardia and Avalonia, they think about them as spies and they chase them the moment they are seen. If they were white or yellow, no one would ever notice them! You know some cities have more spies than the drow? But nobody knows they are spies as they can easily pretend to be a foreigner visiting the country... So the Question we can ask ourself in these changing times: what are the plans of Avalonia? Do they want to conquer all of Nocturnus pretending to fight only the Drow? Or are the men just afraid of their wife at home and are they just seeking distraction? note: The opinion of Menshe Isra Ar is not necessarily the one of "The Kaliphlin Times", The F.U.P. or the M.S.U.
  11. Hmm, now I see: very small difference with this (especially from a distance): But indeed a very nice job of getting so many of them
  12. I was really surprised by this!! Very detailed! Mitgardia has a new really good builder, so congratz! I also like the GoT-elements you put in it one side-note: Not every evil creature in Historica is made by the Drow many of those dark spieces were wandering all-over Historica even before the Druids and Drow arrived here The undeads (the mummies) here in Kaliphlin for example have absolute nothing to do with the Drow.
  13. Nice MOC, I would lie if i tell otherwise But, you you probably can have some trouble with this as your Guild leader stated this recently: So I hope for you there will be no revenge-actions in Kydenon But like I said, nice MOC. I hope you will post some more pictures of it!
  14. Nice little story! The only thing I was twisted by was the fact that first you said we should help Nocturnus and in the second part it is like she is the one who will go to Nocturnus? Anyway, I love how you made the picture look like a real painting!!
  15. They can be found in the PoP sets don't know the exact name... At our great Guildleader: The Quisquiliarum is without any doubt the pearl of the southern seas! Everytime you pass by, the citizens of Mpya Stedor run to the beach to see it "flying" over the water! A very nice MOC! I love the varity between the red (SW-rebels?) flags and the grey-shields! The only thing I miss are those big things some evil people stole from Kaliphlin a month ago...
  16. Genius!!! Haha, the best way to get rid of bad slaves and you can call it a scientifically experiment! Seriously, the faces, the skeletons, the trash-cleaners, ... . It all makes it complete!
  17. Great story! RIP to Daranion! Or maybe not RIP as the last picture shows... Am looking forward to the next chapter!
  18. Don't say this too loud, there are people in Avalonia specialised in killing people who are doubting about their own Guild
  19. The New Laws ("The Chronicles of Lord Damaximus", Part II: "Rise of Mpya Stedor" - Chapter XVII written by Geshi Edeh Nihs) (note: Chapter XVI "The search for the crystal" is due dark reasons removed from the book. There are papers with the story on it, but they are not supposed to be published in the current climate as it also tells about the foundation of the I.A.M.S.) Summer was finally coming. Not that there is a big difference with winter in Kaliphlin, but Lord Damaximus was raised in Ximus and there the difference was noticeable. But as said, summer was coming, the time where most Historicans are supposed to start being happy, to live outside their houses. Supposed to... Neverthless the days are becoming longer and longer, the times became darker and darker. As expected, Avalonia and Nocturnus are in war now. Kaliphlin and Mitgardia are staying out of it. Well not everybody. It depends on their own interests and their relations. Ow, and to be clear, Avalonia is officialy only in war with the Drow and their alliances. To make it clear, a small overview: 1) Drow and elves don't really like each other. Drow live in Nocturnus and Elves in Avalonia. So the Drow and the Elves are constantly insulting each other. That is history, already going on for thousands of years. But since the elves showed their allegiance to Avalonia, the Drow started insulting them too. To be honest, they only said loudly what all other Guilds think about Avalonia. Brave Drows. 2) The Drow started a rebellion in Nocturnus. Starting a civil war between those who followed them and those who stayed loyal to Lord Sslythern. 2) Avalonia became a Guild where only a few had all the power. They tried to have control of everything. The notorious AAG was founded to assassinate possible threats. Even Avalonians who openly showed their sympathy to another Guild were threatened to death. Avalonia became notorious for their barbar methods of torturing, slayering, assassinating, ... . Also everyone who insulted their Guild had to fear for their lifes. So after the Drow insulted them again, they declared war on them. Avalonia called the war a "Crusade against the warmoning Drow to stop the rebellion". Many Kaliphlin traders supported the rebellion of the Drow. But not openly as they didn't wanted to lose their Avalonian tradepartners. Mpya Stedor supported publicly the Drow case. The reason is because their traderelationship with the Avalonian traders was already troubled and the Drow were an important tradepartner. So in these circumstances Lord Damaximus made 3 new laws to keep the peace inside his city in those times of war: #12: "Traders, residents, travellers, ... from another Guild are protected by the City of Mpya Stedor. Every kind of assissantion attempt on them will be considered as an attempt against a citizen of Mpya Stedor and will result in PUBLIC EXCECUTION!" Also: - The sentence for wearing a weapon inside the Inner City (law #1) is Public Execution as there is absolutely no need to have a weapon here and this will be seen as an assassination attempt (see law #12)
  20. Like you said, they don't hide their ambitions But we Kaliphlins are indeed safe as the Drow would lose too much if they conquer Kaliphlin. They need us to much for trading And thanks to the desert, only idiots will try to siege our cities I am looking forward to monday as SoT promised us to show a prelude of the future!
  21. Although it is a nice MOC Legonardo, I do believe myself these are not really drow (for example, why would they simply run toward the wall when there are thousands of other ways to get inside Avalonia?) And again you showed us you are a master in photoshopping!!!!
  22. Avalonia showed again their warmoning ambitions... You guys act like you are the cops of Historica. You even want to assassinate your own Avalonian brothers who showed their sympathy for other Guilds (like the AAG declared a few days ago). Also if I remember right, there is no Avalonian ever been killed by a drow (I mean, Angeli never made a MOC where a drow is killing an Avalonian citizen). So the whole war is just based on some insults... I have to admit that my excellent tradepartners, the Drow, have made a diplomatic mistake by making an arrest for Lord Sslythern. But that is just a rebellion in Nocturnus. We Kaliphlins may not forget we rebelled ourselves not so long ago, making our mighty Lord Dextrus Flagg the new leader of mighty Kaliphlin... So what I want to say: except for some mocking with you and hating you, the Drow haven't harmed any of you Avalonians. So as long as the High King is not rallying up an army, stay in Avalonia and let the rebellion be a Nocturnian thing
  23. I got somehow the feeling it is wiser for Mpya Stedor to don't break their relation with the Drow and to support their rebellion... Even we respected the current leader of Nocturnus and have absolute no problem with him so that's why Mpya Stedor will not send their assassins after him! It's useless to say Mpya Stedor won't host armies on their way to Nocturnus as since our mighty city was founded, the maximum number of soldiers of a faction inside the city-walls was 10 And now my spies and diplomats will do their homework
  24. grrr, why are those dark times happening a 4 days before my exams??? No seriously, I agree with NiceMarmot. The Drow are certainly a very good tradepartner. They never looked for trouble in Mpya Stedor and I got even a few Drow mercenaries in my army! So I am sorry Avalonia, but my army will not help you! What is maybe not so surprising for those who read the stories of Mpya Stedor I posted a while ago But I have to admit that I don't support every Drow activity. As long as they stay out of Kaliphlin, I forgive them
  25. That's how we know you! :D great work! And perfect detailing!
