Lovely little MOC! Love the great use of the original figures, updated with the new CMF!

Hmm looks like the LOTR Lego has been taken down off the Argos website, guess it's not supposed to be out in the UK yet afterall and they've had a telling off from Lego

Awesome!! Great to see something so original, and i'd definitely want one if Lego released it!

I'm a big fan of the Deadlands RPG, that was my main inspiration along with Fallout New Vegas! Hope to add a radscorpion too at some point, when I figure out how to make a Lego scorpion! Haven't played the Red Dead Zombie expansion but that sounds right up my street! Would love to see your MOC too, the more the merrier! Have finished the bank now and added a couple more photos, making MOCs is getting very addictive!

Thanks! Knew the Basilisk would come in handy one day!!

Thanks! I'm still very much a newbie to making MOCs and have a limited amount of bricks to work with, the collection is growing though with every pay check! Yup that's a man hiding in the barrel!

In my spare time I enjoy reading old books on folklore and mythology, wandering the countryside looking for strange old stones and burial cairns, xbox gaming (Fallout, Borderlands, Skyrim!), roleplaying and playing geeky board games, collecting swords, random arts and crafty stuff, and most of all.... Lego!

I'm working on a Weird West style MOC at the moment, complete with zombie/mummy cowboys! I'm still a Lego newbie and a bit shy about posting a thread on here with photos, but I've got a few here: Really hope they do release the Modular western town, the old cowboy mini figures are great but I do prefer the modern more expressive faces! Would love to see more horses that can rear up on their legs like the new LOTR ones, that'll make for some great cowboy and horse poses!

Nice work! Love the little troll under the bridge, and the rocks edging the river are excellent! Would love to see more trees and plants, but that's just me... I have a habit of over accessorising everything!

Love seeing pieces like this, nice and simple but full of character! Great job!

Best dragon i've seen in a long time, i'd definitely buy it if released!

So cute! Especially love the scarecrow and crow!

Early Learning Centre website has a sale on with some Lego sets, including the Dino stuff and some SW sets!

For anyone in Newcastle, Fenwicks have a special offer on all Lego, buy one get one half price. Looks like it includes all Lego, even the base plates and big sets. I think it said it finishes tomorrow though unfortunately! Also managed to find some cheap lego in TK Maxx in Newcastle Monument, looks like they're having a toy sale with some stuff down to 50% off. I bought a SW brickmaster set and pharaohs quest set and they still had some Toy story Lego sets left, don't know if they'll add more to it later though so worth a look. No idea if the toy sale is specific to this branch or a country wide sale though.

Great MOC! Love how it comes apart, and is that a brown frog as a table leg decoration? Very creative!

Aw shame about the nun, knew they don't do war figs but didn't know they won't make religious characters! Can see why though -
Minifigures Series 8 Guessing Game
LauraC replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Here's my guesses... some of them are more wishful thinking than likely to be made :D Have only been collecting the later series so hope I haven't picked anything that's already been made! 1. Cowgirl 2. An injured patient with bandaged head etc! 3. Cricketer 4. Hiker with backpack and walking pole 5. Air Hostess 6. Highwayman with mask, gun and tricorn hat... or maybe a Zorro! 7. Postman with letter 8. Nun (well it would be amusing!) 9. Hawaiian shirt beach guy 10. Some sort of pirate! 11. Pocahontas sort of female 12. Snowman 13. Elvis impersonator style man 14. Horse jockey, boring but can see them doing it! 15. Fortune Teller 16. Bride of Frankenstein -
Wow wow um... wow! What else can I say! That's truly amazing, what a creation! Can't wait to see what else you build in the future... if you have any bricks left!
-
Wow, what a great background to display figures on! I would also like to see more close up photos of the mini figures please!
-
I'm going to regret not buying PotC Whitecap bay and the HP Burrow when they do get discontinued... but hoping they'll turn up cheap at some point so I can get them!

I bought a big box of Lego off ebay that had some very old bits in that are older than me I think! As far as sets go, only ones I have that are older than me are a couple of the Fabuland sets I played with as a kid, and those aren't much older than me! All these people born in the 90's definitely make me feel old!!

Wow, that's gonna be huge! Great start, very much looking forward to seeing the progress on this!

A great improvement, looks a lot better with higher walls I think!
