Save the pics on your PC, and combine any trains you want/need/have into a single picture.

Technically, it wasn't today (I ordered on Dec 30th), but since it arrived today: 6857 Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex And I also got a free Kendo Jay Booster Pack. (My first Ninjago set)

The vehicle-themed sets are okay (in my opinion), but I don't like the "extra"-vehicles, which seemed to be made of random parts just to reach a certain number of pieces in a set. A good example in the current Super Heroes sets are (again in my opinion) the Bat-Cycles. Today I recieved my very first order from Lego.de : The Superman-set, and the Funhouse. During my build of the funhouse, I just skipped the Bat-Cicle pages. As for Luthor's battle-armor/mech-thingy: I was shocked, how this thing pales, when I put it next to Dr. Insano's Inferno's robot.

Don't forget, we already got a christmas-calendar with Santa taking a shower. I think, that is/was far more, than any child would like to see of Santa.

I'm sorry, if it has been mentioned before, but: Today I got the new Lego-catalog (january to july) at our local Toys'R'Us. It only featured the buildable figures (Grenn Lantern, Joker, Batman, Hulk, Cap, and Iron Man). They will be released in germany in may (at least according to the catalog). There's no reference to the minifig-sets. However, the german Lego-site, and the Lego stores seem to sell all the sets right now. Is there something, I keep overlooking? To me, it just makes no sense.

I'll take that, and would add a clocktower (similar to the Big Ben in the Cars-sets), to recreate the "birth of Venom". Batcave-Add-On Featuring a turntable with a Bat-Vehicle on it, staircase to Wayne Manor, Giant coin, and Joker-Card and a Training-Area. Minifigs: Batman/Bruce Wayne, Robin/Tim Drake, Alfred, and some villain-"dummies" (villains, henchmen, and/or "normal" criminals). Lex Corp. Lab. A "hideout" for Luthor, in which some villains where created. Also featuring Kryptonite in various colors. Minifigs: Lex Luthor, Mercy Graves, Superman, The Parasite, Metallo. The Tea Party Interior, for an Mad Hatter hideout. (Blanket, teapot, lots of cups. Minifigs: Batman, Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum, and Jenna Duffy (The Carpenter). The Lazarus Pit Obviously, an Al'Ghul-Themed set. With R'As (2-sided head: young & old) trying to rejuvenate himself... again. Minifigs: Batman, R'As, Talia, various Ninjas. Also, I would like to see, a greenhouse with Poison Ivy (and, possibly Harley Quinn), a GCPD set, with Com. Gordon, Harvey Bullock, and René (sp?) Montoya, and a courthouse with Harvey Dent, and/or Two-Face.

Hi Oky, There's been an old story about Batman fighting (robot) dinosaurs on Dinosaur Island, but I can't remember when this took place. The story was later updated, and retold in "The Batman Chronicles" #8 (April 1997): Edit: Oh, and "Yes, it is the story about how the T-Rex came into the Batcave". The Chronicles-Story is called "Secrets Of The Batcave: Dinosaur Island".

Again, not an easy decision. 10) Gotham City Sirens (Build by EI H) 1 point 16) Access to Batcave via Batpoles (Build by GV357) 1 point 20) Joker's Funhouse (Build by Oky) 1 point

Whew, with so many fantastic entries, it's been a neck-and-neck race. 3) Birth of Joker (Build by lisqr) 1 point 6) Batman Returns (1992 Burton) (Build by lego-maniac) 1 point 13) Arkham City (Build by sok117) 1 point

I'm not quite sure about the older incarnations, but at least since Batman Forever it's been a woman (Lady Liberty). Edit: I love the Funhouse. It has great Minifigs, 2 Riddler-Heads/-Hats, and Harley . Also, the color scheme is fantastic... and it is a perfect start for amazing carnival-MOCs. This is also the first time, that we get a DC-villain's hideout (Doc Ock had his boathouse).

Currently re-reading the Discworld books. Well, at least the 30 DW-books, I own.

I finished the main story last night. Now THAT was an interesting "twist" at the end. Roght now, I'll try to get all the riddles, ballons etc. , and the side quests. The game is fantastic. I can't wait to play the new game plus when I get additional Outfits. However In my opinion, the story itself was a bit short. And the Catwoman missions didn't quite feel like the announced 1ß% of the main story. My third (and last)point of criticism is, that Arkham City felt so small. (Maybe I'm just spoiled by GTA & RDR ) As for your problem with the torture chamber (the room with the shark): @Professor Flitwick You should put the "Ghost Train"-sentence into spoiler-tags.

Maybe, we'll get an Wayne Manor set with Alfred. It could be loosely based on Batman Forever... the scene, when Riddler and Two-Face trick-or-treated their way into the Manor. With the famous grandfather clock being used as a turntable Bruce Wayne/Batman-costume-changer. As for the new Batcave: It is not as impressive, as I expected, but I'll buy it anyway. I'll try to combine it with my old one.

I think, you should keep the 1st option. It appears to be more suitable/consistent.

Actually, there has been a topic like this: clik me , which lasted form July '07 to June '11. However, when I talk about AFOL, and MOC, my pronounciations are: Affle (like apple ) and "Mock".

Since, the EN was a steamer, and the Maersk runs on diesel, the next logical step leads to an electric loco. However, I would like to see TLG's approach on some unconventional trains, like: The glass train The rail bus called "Schweineschnäuzchen" (pig snout) The rail zeppelin The Adler (eagle)

I suppose, I'm now qualified for the list. It started way back in the early 80s, when I got , along with and a circle of blue rails (with the innertrack) for christmas. I even got same straight rails (4 of them, without innertracks), but I have no idea, where they came from. Surprisingly, when I got these items, the grey rails were already released, therefore, I had the "new" . During the next couple of years, I got some grey rails, points, and . After that, my interest changed to city/town, space, and castle sets, and I slowly descended into my dark ages. After my dark ages, I collected some city, castle (fantasy), and licensed sets (starting with Spider-Man 2). But this year, my interest for trains finally began anew, with the release of . It is now accompanied by . Right now, it might not be the largest train collection, but it will expand soon...

Today, I finally bought my very own Emerald Night. (Thanks again Legocrazy81, Mrlegoninja, and prateek for your advice) I also bought a small PaB-Cup, and got 3 free BaM-Figures (this months Lego-store-offer).
-
Hmm, seems to me, that Legocrazy81 is outvoted. I guess, I'll proceed, according to Mrlegoninja's list. Thank you for the replies.
-
Thanks, Legocrazy81. So my buying-order looks like this: June: Public Transport October: Cargo Train December: Emerald Night (if still available)
-
I have a "In which order should I buy these sets?"-problem. Until the end of the year, I want to buy: 8404 Public Transport, 7939 Cargo Train, and 10194 Emerald Night. For the Cargo Train, I have to save money for 4 months. As for the other two sets, the corresponding period would be 2 months. Since I have already saved money for 2 months, I need another 6 months for all three sets (thus, ending my acquisitions in december). Therefore, I could get the Public Transport, or the Emerald Night this month, or wait another 2 months, and buy the Cargo Train. As, mentioned in other posts, the Cargo Train may soon be replaced with a new one, the Emerald Night's shelf-time lasts already longer than expected, and the Public Transport's days as a "2010" Fan-choice-set may be over, too. So, which is the best order, to ensure, that I get all 3 sets, before they are gone for good?

The light at the "S" of the "Shop"-letters turns from trans-yellow to trans-blue.

The translation of the train station phrases are not quite obvious, since we often use other catchwords for them (see below). Castle Station (it's a train station) The word "Castle has two different meanings in german. If it's a noble residence, it is called "Schloss", but if it is a stronghold, the german name is "Burg". Actually, I don't know any trainstation with either of the expressions, however we have some bus stops, and tram stations called "Schloss Strünkede", or "An der Burgruine" (at the castle ruin). Therefore, I would propose to use a name for the castle in combination with one of the two expressions. ("Burg <name>", or "Schloss <name>) Harbour Station (it's a train station) I would suggest "Hafen". (The train station of our harbour in Hamburg is called "Landungsbrücken" -> gangplanks.) Airport Station (it's a train station) In Germany we use the term Flughafen combined with the city. e.g. "Flughafen Düsseldorf", or "Köln/Bonn Flughafen", but I think you may just use "Flughafen". Town Hall -> Rathaus City Council -> Stadtrat "Knight (name) founder of Falcon City" (this is for a plaque under a statue) -> "Ritter (name), Gründer von Falkenstadt"
