Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 11
Alice replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Onward Southeast! This seems to be switch 7, the one that was broken at the switch tower. Maybe Jennifer is trying to point us in a direction to find clues about where she has been or where she was going from the grave (or freezer, wherever she is). -
I wanna play! I wanna play! Seriously, I'm excited about this one.

It's probably Greaseman, he seems interested in touching anything with a pulse. -

You make me giggle.. and.. you have food. These are 2 of the reasons I am so fond of you dear Schmelt. -

I wish I had some of spelunking gear, especially my hard hat light. I'd like to stay close to Pete since he is the one with the flashlight. Also, it seems some of our fellow explorers are quiet. -
Some of my friends did it in college. I did not participate. My friends were under the influence at the time. They thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was just amazing. I was never interested enough to try it. You only need a couple of hours, Wizard of Oz DVD and Dark Side of the Moon album. It's not that complicated or time consuming to try. Wikipedia calls it Dark Side of the Rainbow, but I've always heard it as Dark Side of Oz. It's not really an urban legend and supposedly it really does synch nicely.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10

I say that we go southwest cautiously. We shouldn't disregard the note, but it shouldn't stop us from exploring either. We should be on guard. -

Well, come on Jethro, go look at it! Schmelt, we should stick together just in case anything happens. Pony jokes are not funny dammit. -
Thanks! I'm ok with late wishes.

I hope we find something this way and Herman doesn't die. Seriously, stop abusing your gun priveleges or I'll take them all and give you a good lecture on gun safety. The threats are inappropriate and stop reminding us that you have guns. WE KNOW! I'm probably the only one here even qualified to have a gun. -
I thought about that, but wasn't going to talk about it in this thread. Nice job Sveltey. Looks like these sets aren't tainted by any chewing by rats. Also, it looks like they are going to bring in quite a bit of money, as they are well worth it. Nice sets! Good luck!

This sounds like a big mess. I've had it happen to me before when moving things that hadn't been moved in a long time. ICK ICK ICK. You don't have to be dirty or messy to get a pest problem. I grew up in a rural area and every year when the property behind us was cleared, we would have pest problems (mice, bugs, etc) because it stirred up everything outside. There was no real way to prevent this or we would have. My parents still live in the same place and the cat helps with the pest problem now, but it still happens. I lived in a city apartment as well and we had a rat problem (big rats). Luckily, I lived on the third floor so I never saw one inside. My cats are lazy and are useless when it comes to killing pests. I live in a place now that is also in the city but a more residential area. There are 3 stray cats that live outside and I havent seen a mouse since I moved in. Anyway, I said all that to say... Poor you! It's disgusting to have to clean up all that stuff.

I would suggest continuing to look at eBay and Bricklink to find these sets. Just from the prices I see on Bricklink, you appear to be pretty well out of luck getting the sets for under 55 USD. 4532-1 runs from 48.90 to 105.00 USD. 4539-1 runs from 44.00 to 160.00 USD. The ones I see on eBay are running about the same prices or higher but theres always a shot that you might come across a deal there. I have experienced fair shipping prices on Bricklink so the one that is 44.00 USD might fall in your price range, but it is in Germany so shipping may just be high. Best of luck to you!

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10

Jennifer wanted us here for a reason and tried to tell us something while we were here. She's dead. Let's go figure out how to get the hell out of town. I guess the most logical thing to do might be test the switches. -

Hey ETF! It only made sense that it was someone who was turned. We were the only two who were turned and I knew it wasn't me. -

I thought for sure that Quarry was dead in that last round of voting and then the loyalist would have won. Why didn't everyone vote for Quarry? I mean Dillon said he was a traitor and Dillon was pretty reliable since he is the one who called me out. At that point, everyone knew that Dillon was loyal and I was not. I just laughed and laughed. For the record, I tried to get them to avenge your death Ricecracker. I knew that if we killed ETF, I might be more trusted and had a better shot at winning. Plus he was a double agent, which we were pretty sure of on the first day we were told that there was a double agent. Well played ETF! You surprised me all throughout this game. -
Why Can't I Add a Poll to My Thread?

They don't like for us to vote either. I was always able to make polls when I tried but I am part of the reviewer's school. -
Rolling Pin Vigilante - Staudie got the idea somewhere that I beat the hell out of people with rolling pins and I was the Vigilante killer in Galactica Paranoia. Stash is the Paris Hilton of Eurobricks. That is funny!

Welcome to Eurobricks! I hope that you enjoy your stay here. Sounds like one of the admins could add you to the "Lady" group and make you pink! EB likes to recognize the growing minority of females that are members here with a special group. I look forward to getting to know you better through your participation in the forum.

Galactic Paranoia: The Conclusion
Alice replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I enjoyed the game. I really enjoyed being a loyal vigilante and was a little miffed when I had to change sides. I really did kill Adam and Pepper which was better than what the whole group did voting. I was turned when I voted for Quarry. Imagine that. I felt really bad about lying to Dillon, but he eventually caught on. I am not a very good liar, obviously. Thanks for starting the game JlBlue. Thanks for finishing it Shadows! You did an excellent job of taking over (as usual). Watch out Shadows! Apparently, I have found a rolling pin and I know how to use it. -
Thanks everyone! Happy birthday Draggy! I don't really like to share but I don't mind sharing my birthday with you.. I guess. LuxorV, that is a lovely hotel. Did you look at the interior? The builder implied that one of the Paradisa ladies is a.. um.. "lady of the evening". Thanks! Happy birthday Evil Willy and Captain'Spaulding! Thanks! I am and the much needed time away from work is good for me as I get another year older. I have them ready to give to Shadows. He says it's no rush. Take it up with him.

I've got my eye on you, Brakes. I have a strange feeling that you might be involved in some of this mess. -

I don't think I want a dead body near my food. I don't really want it near my luggage either. Schmelt, I did try to sneak in.. what?.. you didn't hear me. Too bad for you. It was your last chance. I think I'd like to go along with Pete's idea as well. Schmelt, are you coming!!? -
Nice save! Congratulations Hinckley!

It looks like all are duplo except for one. The system one is the Darth Vader one with 4 studs on top.
