Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 8
Alice replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So, Ms. Thornton is dead and we were led here by someone else. Great! My mother always told me when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Jennifer keeps leaving msgs around town and we are finding them. I would like to look through all of those files and see if I recognize any other names. I have a suspician that someone on the train is from this town and was part of this plan to get us here. I would also like to speculate that it is someone on the staff because Willouby doesn't seem like a place that we would even come through since theres all this switching to be done to get out. Why wouldn't we have just stayed on the main track? Also, Mayor or any of the other town folks, do you remember Ms Thornton? Did she have any children? Please tell us any information. Mayor, I know you have been here since 1979 because that was when your car was registered. This has been something we have talked about throughout our stay and no one has come forward with any information about Elizabeth Rose Thornton. Who was currently using the office that we are exploring? It only remains locked when in use which means someone was using it. -
Happy birthday Staudie!! I hope you get a new cape. MMM CAKE!!!

A silencer? Why the hell would you need a silencer unless you were up to no good? Who had this office? The mayor must know. Jennifer may be Ms. Thornton. She sent us all those invites under a pseudonym in order to get us here. We had to send her our special skills and she obviously thought each one of us had something special that could help her get out of here. Jennifer said she would see us at EE. Maybe we should go there. I would like to open the shredder carefully and see if I can tell anything about what has already been shredded. -
Well, theres something fishy going on with that whole death scenario revolving around Drake, but Dayton is right that is what Commander Blake said. I know that it has happened before in a game.. of life.. that one person on the traitor side tries to overpower another. Possibly this is why Drake was the target of the Black Sun killer. Terris could have been targeting Drake because he was having some sort of internal struggle within the Black Sun structure. It's really too bad that another loyal member had to die because of this. Why would the Black Sun killer choose Drake as his victim even after you all condemed him? It's just odd.
-
There were 4 in the hall yesterday and I'm still really not satisfied with any of their answers. I didn't get any clues last night. I had a good nights rest in my quarters. It's almost like the Black Sun traitor wanted to protect Drake by killing the assasin. I guess he didn't bargain on the assassin firing so quickly. This could prove that Drake is a Black Sun traitor.

You just voted for someone you think is innocent and codemned them to death. Their blood is on your hands. I'd rather split the vote and not have a conviction than to convict someone else loyal.

What does your wife/spouse think of your habit?
Alice replied to def's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't spend that much on Lego and only buy something when I love it. I probably spend on average of 25-50 dollars a month. I'll go a month and spend nothing and then spend 100-150 dollars the next month. It just depends. Most of my lego purchases are classic sets or parts so it just depends on whats out there. I try to get it when I can. Shadows likes my lego "habit" because I'm easy to talk into Lego purchases. I'm ok with his Lego addiction (habit is an understatement). I actually encourage him to buy what he wants, especially if it is something rare. Plus, I get to play with all the Lego he buys. We have plans for expansive storage for Lego in the future. He put me on the spot. -
We need to remember the way this is going down so that we can know who to vote off tomorrow. I have a feeling I'm going to be saying "I told you so". Such a frustrating group. It's hard to sort out who is loyal and who is a traitor because no one is willing to stand up and make a decision and say nah that doesn't seem right. I'm standing up and doing that. This doesn't seem right. I guess theres no point in saying it today, but for tomorrow... STOP FOLLOWING THE CROWD! HAVE A BRAIN OF YOUR OWN!

I am not changing my vote. Based on the information I have, I think either Quincy Mann or Dayton Stern is the traitor. Possibly both of them. We all have to vote, split or not and that creepy guy gave us 24 hours.
-
I am about 25 minutes from the Riverchase Galleria Birmingham Store as well. Vulcan would be a cool set but I doubt they'll put that much effort into it. I'll be there at the store opening to get one, whatever it is!

I really don't want to have to vote for Dayton. I have proof that Dayton was followed by Pvt Crade. I also don't think I would have this information if Dayton was a Black Sun Operative. So I'm changing my vote. Pvt Mann is going to be the likely candidate in my opinion. Maybe Drake, but I'm more suspicious of Pvt Mann. Maybe someone could check Dayton's loyalties or Drake's loyalties tonight. Unvote: Pvt Crade/Ricecracker Vote: Pvt Mann/Quarryman

I'll back Dayton up. I think Tong seemed suspicious too. I have suspected him since Day 1. So what we have is 4 people standing in the hall and none of them have any evidence to convict any of the others. Pvt Crade hasn't defended himself yet which concerns me. Dayton and Quincy both say the same thing. I have some proof that Dayton is/was loyal otherwise the Black Sun night killer wouldn't have attacked him. Quincy is a shady little character. We also know that Drake was loyal at one time but thats been since Day 2 or 3 so he could have been turned. At this point, I will place a vote for Pvt Crade because he has had ample opportunity to explain himself and has not. I hope someone gets some useful information tonight. Vote: Pvt Crade/Ricecracker

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 8

I'd like to go to the farm. Are there horses there? I like horses. I think we should also visit the part of the map that is torn off. Theres a lot to do and I don't know that we should split off in groups again. I do think we should decide what to do first and it seems that the general consensus is to return to the farm first. Pending what we find there, we can then go to the torn off area of the map. -
I just got in my parapink pants and a good bit of the parts from the Girls Freestyle Suitcase. Including parapink shutters, parapink lampposts, parapink latticed windows. YAY!

I love you all. Ok, maybe thats a bit much, but whatever. Have fun. This is a great game, but it's just a game. Oh and for life, a bit of advice I have to remind myself of every so often... Don't take yourself so damn seriously. It's funny to me how people put themselves in the fire and then can't take the heat (I love that cliche). My pony joke was funny as hell. Sandy, I hate it that you were offended and I appreciate you setting boundaries. The pony won't really bite, it's made out of Lego. -

My character is about to lecture your character on gun safety and throw rocks at your character (only the crappy unimportant rocks, of course). The pony has also been trained to bite you (not your character). -

It would have been nice if we had a clue about the combination since we have 100,000 possibilities. Perhaps we do and have missed it. We tried several combinations prior to all of you coming. Do any of you townies know anything about this wall safe? Can we just shoot off the lock with Hellanor's gun? -

TheBrickster tells us in the opening post to Day 7 that we all end up on Main Street. So based on so much more than people's posts, we are all together and we cannot dynamically move. -

Someone take the damn gun from her. She's crazy. Eleanor, you should probably comment on the map since you wanted it so much and it was going to help you make sense of everything. I'd be interested to know what you learned. -

I did not ask for or get a locker. It was Eleanor! And we later found out that she had a gun. Which Max took away from her. Perhaps we should all go back and read before we start posting. It seems like everyone is really confused. So Sanctuary X lead to downtown. I wonder if that brick in the jail that was loose has any other loose bricks around it. I wonder if thats the place. -
Do I look like an idiot? Seriously Dayton, I said I trusted you. This is just a ridiculous explanation. Why were you late?
-
Maybe we should start here. I trust Dayton at this point but he could have been turned by the Black Sun. They did blackmail Pepper afterall. I'm interested to hear why you all were late. We also had a lot of people wanting to defend Pepper yesterday when Tong, who was obviously enlightened shifted the blame to her.

I didn't accuse. Yes so this seems to be pure chaos. We need to bring together the clues or important things that each group found and put them together so we can look at them all collectively. Schmelt is brilliant, again. -
Boden, Pepper was converted to a Black Sun Operative which means that she probably was loyal at that time. I think the information is useful, but just remember that anyone can be turned to a Black Sun Operative. Even you.. or maybe you already have been. Drake could have been turned too. I suspect one of you at this point because Pepper knew she had your trust and you were easy to manipulate once she had your trust.

Oh well. At least that vigilante is on target. I hate that we killed another loyal member. I have no information of value to offer today. It looks like I found out who the mortician was today. I told you there was something up with the mortician. Did anyone find out anything?
