  1. Wow our vacations coincided. Have fun and I look forward to reading the next chapter when I return from my vacation. Thanks for all the work you put into this.
  2. I hate fleshies, so I obviously voted for yellow. I own a few fleshies because of my Batman and Indy sets, but I really hate them.
  3. I'd like to eat. I'm not sure why all the townspeople are so angry. I mean there are only accomodations for the passengers on board as far as I understand so it would be uncomfortable. Max they did agree to stay in the dining car. I guess this is a little concerning as this is where the knives are held. Perhaps we could at least offer them some of Schmelt's food. They haven't eaten in a while either. We shouldn't punish the entire town just because a couple of them are bad seeds. Also, I really think I should be the one to hold on to the gun being that I am an expert on gun safety. I'm not sure that Greaseman knows anything about guns at all other than how he would look if he were playing with a toy one in a tv series.
  4. These are lovely and accurate decals. I love Star Trek. I love all of the series, but TOS is my favorite (The Trouble with Tribbles is my favorite episode). Adam, you should watch TOS. None of the Klingons looked like the one's in TNG. It's a little bit of an absurd series but it's hard to beat for some good TV.
  5. I would like to check her pockets! I want to dig in the dead woman's pockets. Maybe there is something there. Surely she knew someone was after her but she must have been murdered fairly recently because it doesn't seem that she was here when we got off the train. I would also like to shower and change clothes. I have on the same shirt as Hank Kimbell.
  6. I agree with your wife and I am 27 as well. I really love the Beachhouse and Creator houses. I have the Beachhouse in my living room set up complete with minifigs, as well as Medieval Market (which I didn't like as much once I built it). There are a lot of System sets are appealing to girls. Paradisa and Girl's Freestyle were all out about the same time and have beautiful Parapink elements. Looking at the history of City/Town, I think it is gender neutral and pretty much always has been. I see Cutlass_Iz and Sandy using a lot of Harry Potter elements. Although I don't particularly care for the theme, it seems to appeal to females and I admit that the color scheme is appealing. I like anything Creator, even the Stegasaurus. Fabuland was also a cutesy little theme that might have appealed to females. I love Fabuland. New castle sets appeal to my fairy tale loving side as they portray princesses in need of rescue by a knight in shining armor. That is right out of a Grimm Fairy Tale. Clickits and Belville both have some useful elements although I've never owned a set of either. I have considered buying some older Belville sets on ebay just for the parts. I've also looked at sets of Clickits. You are right, overall the pink little girly type sets are generally not on the market for long. I would like to offer another spin on this though. When Lego creates a set that is pink with flowers, they limit their market to girls only (for the most part) and when they make unisex sets, there is a wider market. I feel like I just typed a lot of the same things a few days ago. This topic is very similar to another one.
  7. Not "many". Just 2 participants are at Brickworld, as far as I know. People who appear to be active in other areas of the forum are not active in the threads anymore. I know that at one point we discussed the townspeople go away, but I don't think TheBrickster actually wanted them to do this. I wonder if this is part of the storyline or just them losing interest. If it's loss of interest, the game is more fun for all when we all participate. So please, participate or don't volunteer to play these games. On a seperate note, I will be out of town on June 30 - July 2 and I'm not sure that I'll have internet access.
  8. I think we would have noticed if someone fired the gun but you never know. I'd like to check and see how many rounds are left in the gun that Greasy has. Also, did I find anything in Jennifer's pockets? Why are some people so quiet? I've noticed that several people are missing. Should this lead me to be suspicious of their activities?
  9. Murders always make me hungry so yes. Could you try to make my hair do that? I've had it in this dreadful ponytail since before the trip began. I think that you are not mentally stable and have a gun. Have you been keeping track of bullets along the way? When did you notice it was missing some that you didn't use? I'm not sure that you are the murderer. The gun in Greaserman's possession has a bullet missing and was in that office. I'd much rather accuse him but I have no proof to condemn either of you right now. I said this early on! You know, I've held onto something I've known. I noticed that Brakes was acting strange at the time that Max was in possession of Eleanor's gun. It was before any of us knew about it. I'm wondering why now. Either he killed Jennifer or he knows that something was going on with the gun. He also had plenty of opportunity to sabotage the train if it wasn't just the blood that soaked the coal. Max was Brakes one of the people you told about the gun? Who else did you tell about it before the rest of us found out?
  10. I don't have any medical training but I can check her pulse. I'd like to check her pulse. I figure she's dead since we were told it was a MURDER! Anyway, I'd like to check her pockets and take any money for any clues.
  11. Jennifer said in her note that she would see us at the Emerald Express so I agree that we should go back and I would also like to take a nap and change clothes and maybe even get something decent to eat. Schmelt, is that possible (without killing the pony)?
  12. I didn't ever play with Lego as a child. I played with other building toys. My mother and I were talking about it one day and she stated that she didn't think I could follow the instructions. This may sound discouraging, but she might have been right. She encouraged me to have freedom in my playing and not stay in the box, so to speak. Her misconception that nothing else could be done with Lego kept me from playing with it until I was 24 years old. I work in a female dominated field and am a designer clothes, handbag and shoe junkie. I identify very strongly with female gender roles in society, except the part about being a mother and cooking all the meals. With that said, I do not think that Lego caters to males. The lines that are completely unappealing to me include Power Miners, Space Police, Mars Mission (except that one minifig with printed legs, Sandy Moondust). I find that Castle sets that include a woman are usually based in some sort of fairy tale scene, where my knight in shining armour comes to rescue me, the princess. Castle sets overall are appealing to me and have fantasy characters. Have any of you ever read fairy tales? Knights in shining armour, evil ogars, wizards, princes, knights on white horses. Harry Potter seems to have more of a female following as well. Spongebob wasn't exactly marketed to boys either. Paradisa was so obviously female system that it seems to be the only one that I identify with the stereotypical female gender role (I love Paradisa). The new Disney license may help open the door to some female fans as well. My favourite them is Town/City. Town/City has a gender neutral appeal to me. Sure it has police and fire houses, but it also has aesthetically pleasing components that everyone can truly appreciate. There are things in every theme which appeal to me as a woman. Shadows and I generally agree on what we like as far as Lego goes. So the question remains unanswered. Why don't you see more women and girls on the Lego aisle? I'm not sure. Maybe we just use S@H.
  13. I obviously don't want to vote for myself and think I'm a superhero instead of a villan. I think if we go the direction of voting for Eddie, we might have a successful kill of a Black Sun member. Vote: Eddie/Escape The Fate
  14. I'm tired of defending myself. The reality is that you all wanted Drake dead and I fought against you. I was finally convinced that maybe you were right. The moment I kill him and he is loyal, I'm assumed to be a spy. If he were a spy, I wouldn't have had to reveal that I was a vigilante and you all would have continued to voice how the vigilante is a hero. I recieved my vigilante powers the day that we merged with the imperials. I have only been allowed to use it 3 times and I don't think I am going to be able to use it again. Especially now that I've had to reveal it to defend myself. I'm not dangerous. I am a rebel with no night action.
  15. Sorry I've not been talkative. I've just been observing you guys. George, you are a secret keeper. I feel certain that other townsfolks knew that this was in the northwest. Why didn't any of you say anything? I'd like to look at the engine for any visible signs of anything wrong. Why would the town council allow you to have a plane if they didn't want anyone to get out of town? So far there are three people with vehicles (George, Lorraine, and Mayor), it would make sense that these are the town council members since they are able to leave but don't. Everyone else seems to want out of town, but all of the townies kept this secret from us.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. Careful reconsideration. I alone have killed 2 spies. How many has the group voted off... 0. The group has voted off at least 8 loyal members and my suspician is that Hinkalina was loyal.. so that means 9. The other spy kill that we got was a lucky shot. Seems that you are voting off the only member that has decent instincts about who the Black Sun operatives are. You should be grateful for what I have done. Bob (or whatever your name is), you specifically said that you were going to vote off Eddie if Razak was loyal, yet you didn't uphold your promise to your loyal friend. It was his dying wish. How could you turn on Razak?
  18. I used my vigilante role everytime Creepy Guy said I could. It wasn't always at night if you remember. I killed Adam in the middle of the day.
  19. I'm not an assassin. I am a vigilante. I killed 2 times and was spot on and one time was not. I don't understand how you can expect my record to be perfect. I killed 2 of the 3 spies that have been killed in this entire game and you want to accuse me.. how dare you? My record is much better than the groups voting record. The one time I let the group's vote decide who I killed, I was wrong. I am on your side Dayton, whether you believe me or not and I think you are making a big mistake. Hm... Shouldn't we uphold Razak's dying wish since his blood is on our hands? May he rest in peace.
  20. FINE! I do have a secret, but it's not that I'm a traitor. Dayton, you trusted me. Why would you let one little incident get in the damn way of that? You were the only person that I trusted and you go and accuse me without first getting an explanation. Here's my secret. I've been wanting a promotion pretty bad and I haven't been able to get one because of my superhero antics. I figured out that Adam was a spy early on, but we couldn't get the vote for him so I was allowed to be a vigilante. I have killed 3 people on my vigilante missions. One was Adam who was a spy. The other was Pepper who was a spy. I killed Drake too because I thought you people wanted him dead. I mean you all voted him off just day before yesterday and were disappointed that he didn't die. I thought you would be happy. He is declared loyal and suddenly I'm a spy. Yep, you are fools if you believe I'm a spy. Also while I am the man, I do not have any such code name from any such source. You can call me Al.
  21. I'm not one to jump on bandwagons. I am not satisfied with any of the explanations that were given for why the 4 of you were in the hall (Group therapy.. that made me , Eddie). I think it all seems really suspicous. I would hate for the Black Sun to continue to infiltrate and make money on our war but we seem to be continuing it by not being open and honest with each other. With that being said, Razak, you have no defense really and no one to back you up and say they believe you are innocent. Dayton and I both have at least that going for us since we have trust in each other. I won't vote for him because of that, but I have no proof that you are innocent. I think its about a 50/50 shot, honestly. With that said and the pressures of Creepy Guy, I'm going to place my vote. Vote: Ravak/Ricecracker I mean Razak or whatever his name is.. Geez these names.
  22. I want to go to the Northwest too.
  23. Welcome. Please tell us more about yourself. How long have you been collecting? Where are you from? What are your favorite themes?
  24. I'd like to take a closer look at Elizabeth's death certificate to find cause of death.
  25. I am also more suspicious of Razak than you. I still think that whole thing with Drake seemed suspicious.
