What 08 sets will you buy? Or not buy? Why so?
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to Justin2224's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm getting two Homing Spider Droids, an RGS, possibly a Fighter Tank and a V-19. -

Great review! I would get the set, but I'm saving for the Clone Wars sets. -
Lego Death Star 10188 - Pics at last!
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm confused. Has the set had an increase in price for the US? svelte_corps said the price increase was uniform, but when I checked S&H it has stayed at 399.99 USD. Was it lower before? Also, Justin, 399.99 USD for over 3,800 peices and 24 minifigs sounds fair. IMO, a well priced set has around 10 peices for every dollar. (100 peices every ten, 1000 peices every 100, ect.) So, I think it is a good price for what you're getting. Even though I'm not getting it. I just don't have the money, especially after the clone wars sets. -

Doubt it... Besides, I don't think you would win in the creativity area... -
Revisiting old topics (Bumping)
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to Tom_castlefan's topic in Forum Information and Help
I assume this refers to me? Anyway, thanks for clearing this up for me. -
Well, I thought it was over, but I guess not.... On another note, don't you think it's strange that XWingYoda hasn't seen this yet? He must not be on as much now...
-
Thanks Sinner, I feel a lot better now. I really didn't mean to insult anyone DSR
-
Crap, now I'm confused!
-
Actually, I did read that thread, that's actually why I posted what I did in the first place. I thought it wasn't ok to post in three year old topics, as it was said in the thread you pointed out. I won't point out mistakes any more. I read the thread, thanks. I am sincerely sorry about dragging you into this, WhiteFang. I didn't mean to insult you in any way. Yeah, I guess it did, didn't it? I agree, XWY did make a great TIE back then. Again, I sincerely apologize if I insulted anyone here, I didn't intend to. DSR

Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest

Seriously. Fourth place prize ON! -
I know you can revisit old topics, I never said you couldn't. I just said you aren't supposed to revive old topics. and the nickname "dead thread reviver" isn't a compliment, it's because he did the same thing a lot. And I belive old threads are left open because there's no point in closing them, not because the moderators want people to revive them. Sorry. This just seems to happen a lot. Sorry if I caused a problem, I just wanted to get my point through.
-
I think we established that when we got the first pics, baby. Yes, they are different than the normal ones, and they are very awesome!
-
Seriously, we NEED a Ki Adi Mundi minifig. Period.
-
It does look really cool. I think it would be a great set, but it probably will never happen.
-
I realize you are a new member, so please read the member guidlines, and please don't revive THREE YEAR OLD TOPICS! Sorry if I sound harsh, but this happens WAY too often with new members. If you really feel a need to comment on an old MOC, PM the user, don't revive old topics. DSR EDIT: Can someone maybe close the topic? EDIT 2: Ignore the above post because it makes me sound like a moderator... (which, I am not.) EDIT 3: wait, "wasome"? I hope that was a typo...
-
Didn't I just post two of those? We know the Twilight is going to be expensive, and I don't have enough patience right now to count all the peices. Maybe later though.
-
I can't seem to find the gallery link, so maybe a link to the home page? Also, can you tell me where to fund the gallery link on the page? Thanks DSR
-
Yes, a link would be nice. @SithAssassin: I think Plo Koon's head is normal plastic, Ahsoka's headress is either hard plastic or Dr. Inferno hairpeice plastic (slightly stiffer than Exo-force hair and stays on better) Asajj Ventress's lightsabers are supposed to be curved, I think. I dont think Rotta's arms move, but there is a stud on the bottom. Also off-topic (sort of) I finished adding up the peice count for the Droid Gunship; It's 326. So so far, my estimated prices are: Spider Droid: 19.99-24.99 USD Droid Gunship: 29.99-34.99 USD I will add more if I count anymore!
-
Yeah, we already figured this out. Thats how I figured out the peice number for the Separatist Spider Droid and estimated the price range a page back. Thanks for sharing your find, but next time, you might want to check and see if it has been found already. News gets found frequently here, so its always good to check! EDIT: Thanks for that, Rancor. I didn't know it would totally restrict the legs. Lame! Oh well, we should be happy with getting just the commanders. Commander accessories ON!
-
I think the pic twilight is sweet. The Lego one isn't as good. And if the price for the spider droid set hasn't been confirmed yet, I downloaded the instructions and counted the peices. It's a little over 200, so i'm guessing 20-25 USD? If so, i'm getting two!

lego mistakes and revealings
Dark Sword Ragnarok replied to alexrider7's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It could have been said nicer, but I sort of agree. I belive this has been found already. -
Because the pilot is playing BattleFront II and is using a "climb walls" mod. DSR
-
They had rappel lines hooked to the wall, I think.
-
No pic, but you can see it in the preview for the Clone Wars. Its on Youtube still. Linky. Seccond link! (other video)

Thanks Hinkley, I aprecciate it. Besides, I needed to know how to resize pics anyway. Eurobricks, the place for life lessons! DSR
