  1. These are some really cool little ships! I should start building on this scale to save myself some money.
  2. Thanks Davor for showing this picture of the technique. I thought that was what you were saying about 1x2 bricks, but did not think it was possible until you showed the picture. Really cool! Thanks for teaching me a new trick. Thanks for the info Fallen! It’s good to know how to make the smaller circle too.
  3. Thanks for trying to explain the circular pattern, but I’m still not grasping the technique. If anyone reading this has close-up pictures of the technique used on the large circular cantina please PM me?
  4. I really like this diorama and all its detail, but can I ask how you accomplished the large circular structure? I’ve never seen anything like that before.
  5. I have to say I was originally going to pass on these sets, but after seeing them in your reviews I’m kind of liking the display stands and the accompanying plants. Now I just have to figure out where to display them?
  6. Another awesome creation! You know I’m already digging your MOOD scale characters, but what I really like here is that speeder bike with so much detail packed into a smaller scale. I would love to have your creations on display in my own collection. If anyone from The Lego Group is monitoring this site? You should approach MOOD and market his creations to the general public. His creations are great and would have perfect price point.
  7. Very Nice! I like the colors you used. The only thing I would suggest is to give the face some depth by making the nose and mouth area protrude out slightly. Great work though!
  8. Beautifully Done! The LED lighting works perfectly to really set the scene! I especially like the shots of George Lucas doing his magic. Wasn’t Chewbacca supposed to be in this scene?
  9. Thanks Fallen! I did take your comments to heart and made improvements to both Landspeeders based on your constructive criticism, including adding the stick shift. I must say I’m very impressed with your sharp eye for the details and noticing that the side-mounted turbine engines have been shifted downward, because this was something I went back and forth about while creating the MOC. As you have pointed out, I ultimately decided to keep them in line with the body for ease of build and because I felt moving them slightly upward would have made for some building problems that would have been hard to overcome in this streamlined version. Congratulations again on becoming a Rebel Blogger! Thank you!
  10. This is a nice little MOC with some good detail! Sorry I'm not real familiar with Cloud City to offer any suggestions, but keep up the good work and it will look great!
  11. Thanks! The droid is really simple to make. If you look closely you could probably easily build one. Thanks! I must say I agree with you completely about stands. I think stands should also be as inconspicuous as possible, because if they’re overdone they can detract from the build.
  12. This is a very impressive build with a lot of great detailing! Can I ask how long it took you to build it?
  13. Thanks, but I don't let my son play with this one.
  14. I like the use of the chain as a guard rail and the owl in the tree is a nice touch. Overall it’s a really well thought out design and I think it looks great! Beautifully done!
  15. All I can say is, I want one!
  16. This is an elegant build. You’ve really captured the scene nicely. I like this a lot!
  17. Thanks Mr. Man! EB can be a tough crowd, so I knew if I didn’t make significant improvements it would not be well received. Believe it or not I have made some minor improvements to the Phat version and will be updating those photos in the near future. I also agree with you on the astromech. Thanks Hollander! This will probably be my last landspeeder for a while, although I do have some ideas for a CHIBI and MOOD scale version. People seem to like the astromechs, so I’ll keep them coming. Thank you! Thanks!
  18. Thanks MOOD! I'm a big fan of your work! Thanks Bud!
  19. This build is dedicated to my 3 year-old son Joey. Keep building those Duplo towers little buddy! My first goal with this build was to slim it down. I gave it some bling by adding silver pieces to the grill and damaged engine. I inverted these three droid arms to give the appearance of a dent. I tried to duplicate the paint job as best I could using bricks alone and changed up the interior a bit. The speeder is balanced perfectly on its stand and spins freely. The build. LUKE: Uncle Owen... OWEN: Yeah? LUKE: This R2 unit has a bad motivator. Look! We all have a bad motivator sometimes! Happy New Year everyone!
  20. This is beautiful! I especially like how you made the snow look as if it is melting off of the roof and the fenders on the old time truck are nice. I love how you did the beds too. The one thing I would add if you have them are a couple of the lighted bricks.
  21. As a collector of the Lego modular homes, I have to say this one is on par. I love all the interior detail, especially the piano and the Cream City brick veneer. Well done!
  22. I love the delivery of this MOC. The humor and comic book flair gives it an artistic flavor. The Sarlacc is Beautifully done! I have to agree with Envy on this one, based on the overall presentation this is the best so far.
  23. It’s coming along nicely! I can’t wait to see the finished product.
  24. Love it!
  25. I like it just the way it is! Kudos!
