  1. Great DOJO! I especially like the front garden with all the flowers and the Geisha. The meditating old man is really a cool idea! Everything looks beautiful, but I don‘t think you should have chairs around the table. This is how we sit at my DOJO. Lol
  2. ...never meaning no harm...makin their way...the only way they know how...

  3. I love your status I almost put that in mine.

  4. A classic scene you’ve done well.
  5. He looks amazing from what I can see. I agree with the others in that I’d like to see better pictures of what otherwise looks really cool.
  6. As a fan of the modular homes, I really like this build. Your color scheme is beautiful and I love the details you’ve put on the exterior. I think that elevator is a hundred times better then the one in the new town hall and hiding the power function in the basement is nice too. Great work!
  7. This is wonderful! I love it! I can’t wait to see your entire layout when it is completed, but I imagine that will take some years and are they ever really completed? That’s the joy of it though.
  8. Great interview guys! Smokebelch you have inspired me to try and take better pictures with my Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd and maybe I’ll even post one in your photography thread. I just hope it has a macro.
  9. This is a nice build! I think you’ve done a great job of capturing the scene.
  10. A very fun vignette! I like your picture taking skills too.
  11. These are really beautiful!
  12. That’s a really cool looking flower! Great work!
  13. This is an awesome looking Dewback! I definitely prefer your brick built over the molded version and I just cast a tie breaking vote.
  14. This is a good scene and you’ve captured it well! I like the angles you chose for the pictures.
  15. You’ve done great work here Legoman! The walls and floor look superb!
  16. Great work again Legostein! I love your creativity with the characters! They all look amazing and the scenes are simply elegant!
  17. This is a nice little vignette, but like others have said I found myself looking for the pit droid.
  18. That is some really great picture taking Darth Yogi! You pulled it off nicely! I the little infiltrator!
  19. This looks really amazing! I love how you made the dragons, but why so few pictures? Superb entry! Good luck!
  20. This is cool! I don’t know why, but I’m reminded of the grave digger monster truck. Maybe it’s those menacing claws. Great entry!
  21. This is cool! I like the pom-poms and the handlebar. Nice entry.
  22. If Lego had done what you’ve managed to here I would have bought the set. Great work!
  23. What do you mean by fez pieces? That is a version of the mini tan IV I created based on the ISD set. I agree with you that the 2X4 slope would have been nice and that is how Hollander envisioned it, but I could not find them in white at the time and I will be placing them on my BL wanted list. That being said I think the addition of the red stripe in that area was a nice trade off. You’re right it is about 2/5 the size. Your version is also about half the size of the 10198 lengthwise. Envy is already hitting me up to make him one to add to his collection.
  24. Hollander’s Corellian Corvette. Hollander photo shopped these first two pictures. Hollander’s original LDD screenshot. Hollander was nice enough to share his LDD file of his Blockade Runner with me when I told him how much I liked it! I was able to build it with real bricks and a few changes. I changed the core of the hull and modified the engine block slightly to make the build sturdy. I also had to substitute a few bricks that I could not find in the right color on Lego or BL. I think I’ve maintained the beauty and elegance of his original design and I’m happy to add his creation to my collection. Thanks Hollander! All accolades to you my friend! A comparison photo.
  25. You’ve done an excellent job replicating this locomotive! My grandfather used to build model railroads in his basement. I remember as a kid going to his house and looking in wonder at all the little details on his layout. You’ve brought me back to my childhood and are tempting me to spend more money on Lego trains! Darn you Lego Train 12 Volts! Seriously great build! Can’t wait to see the Coal District.
