Thanks! I was thinking the same thing.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean? Keep in mind that I have the 1X2 technic bricks there to hold the legs on with a technic pin?

M<0><0<DSWIM you are one of my favorite MOCers and the originality in your work is inspirational. Glad I could learn a little bit more about you. Kudos to you!

After seeing some of the other members who have tried their hand at these, I decided to get partially serious about these droids and threw this one together in a matter of 10 minutes. The head on this one swivels and I wanted to show how easy it is to add detail on this scale without the use of stickers. I also changed the third leg to look more accurate. While all the color choices I used are not the best, they were the only colors I had on hand. I hope you enjoy it! side back Thanks Brickmamba and M<0><0<DSWIM for calling me out and challenging me to do better. What do you guys think of this option? Obviously the tan bricks should be blue, but you get the idea.

That Watto and medical droid look pretty slick.

Pedro I hear what you’re saying! Unfortunately there’s a lot of this type of thing going on around here. Even worse is that it is condoned and allowed in the blog. I hate when people try to insult the intelligence of this community. They may be able to steal your ideas, but they’ll never have your talent! Keep up the good work!

I was just browsing Sci-Fi and I must say I really like your piece. I especially like the color usage here and the island theme comes across perfectly. What was your inspiration for this piece?

Awesome work! I love the generator with all the light elements and the platform is great too.

Dude, I’m in awe! Killer!

It looks great! I especially like your detailing inside the cantina and the power station is very nice as well. Is that green land speeder tucked behind the buildings one of your own builds or from TLG?
-
Agreed! Are those windows just floating there?
-
Awesome! I wish I could see this one in real bricks!
-
Very nice! I especially like what you did with Gasgano. How many pieces went into that pod racer? You should build Boles Roor next.

Community Build: SW Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Count me in too please! -
This is a nice little Airspeeder and it looks like it was fun to build. I’ve thought about trying to make one myself, after your post I’m tempted to give it a try! Great job!

I’m not familiar with this ship at all, but I do admire all the work and detail you’ve put into it! Your camera work is excellent as well! I love this big beautiful ship of yours!
-
Cool mod Envy! You’ve brightened up this ship very nicely! Makes me want to do the same to mine! Also makes me wonder why Lego doesn’t include these LED’s already in some sets? I know I’d like to see Lego step up their game!

Thanks for the complement! Actually the log bricks were not an accident. Legocrazy81 thought I ran out of bricks, but I never corrected him because Legostein did it for me.

This is incredible! And after seeing some of your other builds, I must say you have some mad skills!

At the time I thought it was important to have the distinction between the head and the body and you’re right the bandolier did present a problem. Based on your feedback I’ve changed it up a bit. All comments on this are welcome. Tell me what you think? I changed the bandolier to make it easier to manage by reducing the pouches to three and extending the thinner black belt part, thus allowing the lowering of the head. I still left a slight space though because I do want some distinction. Thanks everyone for the comments!

Midi Star Destroyer under attack! The Rebels arrived...

These are lovely! I especially like the Liberty and the Assault Frigate. Excellent work! -
I like the color scheme and the damaged wing!

Jawa New pictures without neck and modified bandolier, which I like better. Thanks Legocrazy81! Dark shots. After seeing the great LED work posted by Lego Envy, Lobot, and others, I decided to have a go at it. The first thing that came to my mind was the eyes of a Jawa. So I searched images of Jawas online. I'm not sure who the artist is, but this was the main source of my inspiration. Some close-ups. The face. The gun. The hand. The stand. All LED wires are hidden within the model and the stand. The stand also doubles as a nice hiding spot. Next to Yoda. I hope you enjoy it EB!

It’s cute! I love the feet! I’ve also played around with the idea of making this droid on a larger scale. You would think it would be an easier one to make, but there are some real challenges with the angles / corners on the box if you want complete accuracy. Glad I could inspire you.
