  1. I like the detail on the little tree next to the bench. Looks very natural.
  2. I like the four 8x8 modules. Tried to do that myself but couldn't get the watergun race to fit on an 8x8 so I scrapped that idea. Well done, and good luck in the contest.
  3. Love the knocked over trash in the back. Good luck in the contest.
  4. Here is my entry for the Winter Village Contest: Watergun race on the left, ring toss on the right, prizes in the middle (and overhead). Step right up and win a prize! Ring the snowman's nose and win a giant stuffed gingerbread man! Looks like Santa leads Rudolph by a nose! Does anyone ever win this stupid game?!? And what's this around back? A coin operated kiddie ride? The Rudolph kiddie ride actually moves. You can watch a quick video here: http://www.flickr.co...00/11375963575/ And you can view a few more pictures at: http://www.flickr.co...157638679276576 Thanks again for putting this contest on. Definitely a fun little build.
  5. This is great. Love all the details. Well done.
  6. Thanks for the quick reply!
  7. Great contest. Thanks for putting this together. Quick question for you, as I'm not sure I understand the overhang rule. Does that rule mean you need to start with a 16 x 16 base, but you could, for example, have a portion of your build reach 18x18 proportions somewhere above the base, as long as you stay within one stud on every side? Thanks in advance.
  8. Congrats to all. A great contest and deserving winners.
  9. Pretty awesome build. Well done.
  10. 16 badboytje88 - 3 points What can I say? I'm a sucker for monkeys. . .
  11. I like it. First Lego greenhouse I think I've ever seen. I agree with Kristen about the cheese slopes. But you have a great start here.
  12. Personally, I don't care what you call it, but I like it. Very nice scene you've created here.
  13. Man, so many good entries. Very difficult to narrow down to three. But here mine are: 9 Capt. Nemo - 1 pt 22 Brig. Brick -1 pt 5 BaraSH - 1 pt Nemo's is an amazing build. I liked how much Brig. Brick did with so few pieces on his cover. And I felt BaraSH found the best cover for the holiday season. Many other covers were also deserving. Toutouille captured that cover perfectly with a single mini fig. I love Oky's vehicle. Runamuck's cover is great. Penguin's cover is amazing with so few pieces. I could go on, but instead I'll just say this - great job by everyone. Truly a great contest.
  14. Awesome. Great idea.
  15. Thanks. I like the shape they give me. I just don't love the obstructed view of the cockpit that this build gives. Trying to come up with something better, but my limited supply of trans clear is making that tough.
  16. I agree with everyone about wonderwoman's mouth. She looks like a fish from Spongebob to me. I've got a couple alternate ideas. May try them out his weekend and see if I can get her looking a little less ridiculous.
  17. I like the Thor hairpiece. At first glance, I thought it was his normal one. Looks natural to me.
  18. Very cool idea. Loving the shadow work.
  19. Well the original idea was legohaulic's. He was calling them "cartoonish" figures. But I do like the sound of WonderDudes . . .
  20. Here are Superman and Batman: Cartoonish Superman and Batman by light2525, on Flickr
  21. Very creative sandman. Great entry overall.
  22. Pretty awesome. I swear I remember seeing a vehicle like that in an old episode of Superfriends.
  23. Awesome. I love the egg. The look on Robin's face is perfect.
  24. OK, well here is my take on Wonder Woman's invisible jet: invisiblejet3 by light2525, on Flickr I'm not ecstatic about the cockpit, but a fun build nonetheless.
  25. After building my Justice League of America No. 8 contest entry (http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=76496), I couldn't resist the urge to build another comic cover. So while this one won't be entered in the contest because of the one entry per person rule, I thought I would share it nonetheless. Here's my cartooned version of Justice Lague of America No. 62: justice league 62 resized by light2525, on Flickr And here's the original for reference: jl62original by light2525, on Flickr And here are some pics of the cast of characters (I apparently forgot to take pictures of batman):
