Also, Bricklink. Stormtroopers used to be overpriced, but recently the prices have been going down. I got 20 for around €4 per figure.

Most polybags and collectable minifigures are made of a different type of plastic. For example, in the Chinese plastic the printing is of a lower quality and the plastic is sometimes less dense. You can indentify Chinese plastic by looking at the torso piece, if it is missing the black mark on the neck it is usually Chinese plastic. The leg piece also has a slightly different mold. If you put the minifigure in a sitting position you can see that the top part of each leg has a small dent. But it is still an official TLG product, not a knockoff or fake, and most people don't seem to be bothered by it. I have had several minifigures getting cracks over time. This is not always the case if you're lucky or don't move your figures around too much. I have taken a good look at both of them and apart from a very slight barely noticeable color difference I can't see any difference between them.

Back when TLG didnt put a sticker sheet the size of the box in every set... Good times.

As long as you don't start to post progress brick by brick, I think we can handle it. That rocking is looking good! Small edit: some green 1x1 round or square flat bricks give rocking that little extra.

If not for the stickers I would consider it, but those stickers ruin it... Great review though.

I checked them and non of them have this problem, so I'm going with misprint? I had a clone trooper helmet last year that was printed backwards, so it happens.

I'm still young (30) and have so many projects going at the same time, non of them are getting finished. Looking forward to more of your builds though.

Could be a misprint if it has the LEGO group logo? As far as I can tell it looks legit. I have 3 of those myself. I will check later since they are in a box on the attic.

I think for someone calling himself a (total) noob you are doing very well and your creation can go on par with those. Portcullis have me going all the time, from what style to use to how to fit it in. ^^ In the caste I'm currently working on I went for an old style "6080 King's Castle" portcullis with some new elements.

That rebuild tower look great, riminds me of combination of the towers from Radoch/Owl Castle.

Yeah, easy pass then. I get inflation and stuff, but once the slave 1 was 60€ and is was well made, how can they justify double the price, my pay certainly hasn't been doubled since then.
