  1. Thanks for the review and beautiful pictures! This set is a perfect dollhouse for me. It has all the most important rooms, the rooms are furnished and there are excellent accessories. Open back is great for playing with the house and minidolls. I love the kitchen and the bathroom (there's a toilet!). It's so great that the rooms are modular. I really like the garden and especially the swing. It still seems a little too pink for me and I'm not a fan of the big wall pieces but I love this set so much. I would like to see such a house for each of the minidolls, e.g. once a year, and that way we could also get parents/adults for all of them
  2. There are saddles in the summer sets but in my opinion the minidolls still look stupid standing and not sitting on the horses. Thanks for the review. It's another must-buy for me just because it's a building. I love the hedgehog and the accessories. I hope the staff at Heartlake Vet can help Rufie Everytime I see this piece I think it's garlic...
  3. So awesome! And so wrong that the fright and suffering of the minifigs make me smile Love the alien mother and the street.
  4. Excellent review, thank you so much! Love all the pics with swapped hair. I almost feel sorry for all the little girls that never had LEGO before (or don't have that much) and won't be able to create such great (and insane) hair combinations. This set makes me so happy just by looking at it. Bright, happy colors and such a wonderful place to meet other minidolls and minifigs there. My City population will finally have something to eat. That hamburger can feed a family (or at least a starving family). I love the accessories, never thought that LEGO figures will get to use knives and forks. I actually like when buildings have no back walls because it's so much easier to play. Now that sucks indeed. How's the quality of all the Chinese parts?
  5. One of my most favorite sets from this theme. I always wanted a tree house for myself but even without a house I spent hours on a tree :) The tree house is great, I’m glad there are no <insert that tiresome argument> parts. The bird and bird house – so sweet. The kitty is cute but too cartoony, I prefer standard Lego cats or the Belville one. Absolutely love all the new flowers. New colors are great but I wouldn’t mind more neutral colors. Fortunately this set can easily be turned into more neutral one just by changing some colors and then putting it in a City setting which is what I’m going to do. The minidolls are cute but I find their limited articulation (wrists especially) disappointing. Love the hair. At first I thought that I’ll just scalp them and replace with minifigs but they’re growing on me... I’m going to buy most of the Friends sets. Thanks for the great review and waiting for more :)
  6. I really like this set, will definitely get it. I like the idea of the lab/workshop, the overall look, the accessories. I really love the Friends theme . I agree there should be a computer in the set, but I'm glad it's a small set rather than a big one (therefore it's less pricey). Thanks for the pic comparing the figures to the Doctor Who ones. I'm glad someone finally paid attention to it. I don't like how the legs can only move together but the limited articulation of the hands is even worse. So even though I think these minidolls are actually very cute I'll be putting minifigs in their place.
  7. That's a really nice review, thanks! I love all things Hello Kitty Nice box design, I love the cupcakes and lollipops. The cart is also cute but the house being just one big piece is the biggest drawback. The paint quality (bleeding bow) is disappointing but at least you can see what you're getting before you open the box. Overall, I'd love to have the figure and the sweets but I'm not interested in the buildings. Oxfords sets are definitely much better. Smurfs sets were the first MegaBloks sets I've ever seen and I think they're totally cute so I hope to be able to find the smaller HK sets like Pastry Chef or Picnic. I even got the PlayBIG Bloxx set just for the Kitty but Duplo is not my size. Love Kitty's new friend!
  8. ^ Yes, that's the video, thanks. I like the display of all the sets at the end. I haven't seen them in person but it seems so from the pics. Again, I can't link to them but Stephanie's Bakery, Emma's Pool, Andrea's Stage and Olivia's Workshop have the "eurohole" (that's how it's called ). Can this map of Heartlake City from US catalog be found online? I'd love to see those new structures.
  9. If you go to Amazon.co.jp you can see the new summer sets again, and the inside of 3189 is shown there. I have too few posts to add a link so just go to Amazon, type lego friends, click on any set and find the movie (Friends start at 0:30). There are 22 sets altogether there (so there's something new ) and they mention a 22-minute movie. I love these sets, can't believe I have to wait another 3-4 months for them.
  10. That is such a great idea and your Christmas tree looks wonderful ! I like how colorful it is and I just love the apple hanging at the bottom, reminds me of real apples on the Christmas tree I used to hang as a kid. I'm so stealing the idea, I've got a small tree in my room, last year it was HelloKitty-fied and I'm sure my tree would rather be LEGO-fied Happy Holidays!
