LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Leela replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That surprised me too and at home I started wondering that maybe I confused the conquistador (the armor) with the footballer. But then the you cannot confuse the trophy with anything else, right? I cannot be 100% sure but it seemed to me like conquistador's helmet and armor. We'll have to wait until somebody gets a full box to see what's rare. Also the minifigs haven't been picked through yet, I believe I was the first person at the store to buy them. Or maybe I was just lucky because contrary to most people I'm not interested in historic minifigs? I want fairies and cheerleaders and never had problems finding Spartans or Romans that I don't care much about. I know... -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion

I hope the fans of all kinds of scary monsters will forgive me but the man-bat is so totally cute! The arms are nice but I like his ears even more. After another visit to the store and feeling all the bags I can tell that there were lots of evil robots, DJs and cowgirls as well. So far I found only one Santa Claus. The easiest to feel: diver (helmet), evil robot (helmet), fairy (wings), cowgirl (hat+braid), alien (skirt, obviously), footballer (trophy), cheerleader (pom-poms and hairpiece). CMF addiction never ends... -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Leela replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I didn't want to get random ones, I tried feeling the ones I want doubles of, unfortunately the store was already closing. I got a skier, a cheerleader and a fairy. The fairy looks so much better than in the promo pic. I didn't like her colors but she's actually really cute and I love her wings. The minifigs were not in a box, just hanging so it's hard to say about distribution but there were lots of American footballers, cheerleaders and conquistadors. I couldn't find the Santa Claus, the guy with the headphones or the man-bat. I guess I'll be going back tomorrow for more... -

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion

Series 8 is already in stores in Poland, got my first one today so they should be all over Europe any moment -
This is one of my favorite sets of the summer wave of Friends. It's a bedroom so I don't mind girlish colors which look just so cute here and I love it that they gave Mia a drum set. Really nice furniture, cute colors, and Frere Jaques I agree about the sheet music, it'd be great if it didn't have the butterflies etc. Thanks for a great review and excellent pictures. Love The Heartlakers

Mmmm... donut. Sweet mosaic It's not big but it looks really good, great work.

I really like this idea for a MOC. You should try it, and yes, I think it'd look great with Nanoblock. Apart from giving micro-blocks to my minifigs I also thought of giving them to my 1:6 figures They like playing with LEGO too, but giving them plates still makes them look like they're building with Duplo. Nanoblock could be perfect.

Thanks for the review, the kitty looks quite cute. I like the simple packaging and the instruction that doesn't treat the builder like an idiot (but it isn't really for kids anyway). I knew Nanoblock is small but I had no idea it's so tiny! Thanks for the comparison pics. caperberry, I really like that picture, I'd like to have Nanoblock now just to give them to my minifigs to play with

It's absolutely amazing! I like it that you added the underwater world, the Philosopher's Stone scenes (according to the book!), put Aragog in the forest. Love the Chamber of Secrets and Basilisk, great idea. There are so many awesome details that I can't name them all and the castle itself is so impressive. Love the hoops in the Quidditch Pitch

It's a fantastic MOC, I like everything about it. The building is great but I just love the pool, the wooden panels and the tree. Excellent

I didn't recognise Asterix & Obelix and Lucky Luke, I'm so ashamed of myself... The ads are excellent!

I'd really love to see more animals from LEGO but first I'd like to be able to get the ones they've already produced. Why is it that all the new molds are in the big, expensive sets, when the cute piggy could be found in an impulse set? Thanks to this I could bring much more pigs to my farm. I want hens and goats so badly but even the Mill Village Raid is too expensive for me, besides I don't collect Castle. I'd love a LEGO zoo but I guess I see how it's not that exciting for older kids. Why not a safari theme then? It could have vehicles and therefore some action that boys want. Playmobil has both zoo and safari and they have bad guys hunting the animals and good guys protecting the animals, I like that idea. Next month one of the clone brands releases a new theme full of minifig-scale wild animals, if LEGO doesn't want my money I'll be spending it elsewhere. I hope it sells well enough to show LEGO that an action theme full of animals is possible. Oh yes, every city definitely needs lots of flying rats :D

I really believed it'd be released as a set but then lost all hope :( But it's great to see it built, especially on board of the real ISS. It's a beautiful model, I'd love to get it.

It is so cute Such a sweet bear cub.

Thanks for the review and great pictures. Aaaaaaaaargh picture is excellent! I didn't like this set from the beginning simply because I hate quad bikes in real life. Therefore I don't like this pastel one either and there's nothing interesting in this set for me. Except for the carrot and the bunny. Daisy is the reason why I'll probably get this set when I find it for a nice price. Daisy is insanely cute, too cute to be true and I'm convinced that at full moon she turns into a were-rabbit (ok, were-bunny) and murders the minidolls sinking her teeth in their tiny necks.

It's beautiful! I want my Lego city (which is mainly classic town anyway) to have it. I've never seen one with two plows but I guess that's because our roads aren't wide enough And we've had very heavy snowfall today (first time this winter) so the timing is perfect. I love the picture with the baker.

That was an excellent read And I usually don't like reading photo stories. 4 dead redshirts... no wonder Lego produces that many police sets, Lexington a very dangerous place to live in. But at least Bones saved the kidney guy.

I followed your town before joining Eurobricks and now have a chance to say how much I like it. I love the playability of all the buildings, with their open backs and interiors. It seems like such a happy place and it's very classic town-like. It's great to see the whole town put together.

I absolutely love your woodshop and that rocking chair is excellent! Nice colors, I like the overall look of it. And it looks like a place where Olivia would really like to spend her time knowing her creativity. I'd buy that set! After seeing this MOC my first thought was a coffin...

I love it! Nice use of steak pieces. This is exactly why I'm going to hoard Series 6 Aliens. Poor cow...

I knew it. I mean, how much cutesy could the Heartlake City take? It was obvious something had to happen. And it's just the beginning... Excellent MOC Olivia surely likes new accessories and experimenting. And meeting new people Now you just need to attach the basement under Olivia's House set. And she seemed such a nice girl. Olivia the Dexter boxset But if Olivia is just like Dexter then we shouldn't feel sorry for Stephanie, she obviously deserved it. Think of this city - everything's too cute and colorful to be true and there are mutated animals (secret laboratory under the Heartlake Vet?). Only teen girls live there (the only male is probably a slave) so it might be some secret cult meeting at night for their dark rituals. And not a single police minifig in sight! Or any minifig for that matter which means that anyone that wanders into the Heartlake City never gets back...

Thanks for the review. I’m glad that there are some smaller, cheaper sets to easily get all the minidolls and some nice pieces. I just wish Emma was wearing a bikini. It’s just like Andrea polybag, she’s at the beach and not wearing any swimwear. But she still looks better than Emma here, sitting in a pool with your clothes and shoes on is just weird. Emma looks cute with Hula Dancer's hair. Love the last pic

Poor Andrea, she has least outfits to choose from, her body parts can't be swapped with other girls because of different skin tones. But I guess she can swap outfits with Sarah from the Beauty Shop? Personality-wise I like Olivia a lot, but when it comes to appearance Mia is my favorite as red is my fave hair color And Sarah is also cute.
