Is there really much difference between pre 52 or new 52 Green Lantern? They look the same to me, so to me at least The GL Minifigure could go either way.
-
I found some in the my local Toys R us ( Northampton) but I guess they put them out early by mistake. They took them of the shelves quickly but I managed to get mine luckily.
-
I think the solution to this would be for LEGO to laminate the top of the capes around the peg holes. This way the Cape will look just as they do now but be stronger around connection.

Then report it to a mod, and let them sort it out. Unless you report things they go unnoticed. Besides we have some LEGO info related to this movie. So far we know that BvS sets were designed and had to be moved to a later date due to the delay of the movie. We know this thanks to a LEGO employee at toy fair last year. We also know that LEGO may have change up the release of the BvS sets again with this new rumour. Plus looking at what they did with the hobbit where they had to provide for 3 films instead of 2 hence why some sets were spoilerish ( mirkwood spiders, battle of dol gor Dor). So can we expect something similar with this? Will LEGO spilt the existing wave in two or release the wave 5 months earlier and create a second?
-
Like WB did with the Hobbit . Either way the that WB haven't come out and said differently is strange, either way we'll know for sure on 6th of February when the trailer arrives. Still will be interested to see how this affects LEGO though.
-
Thats not a confirmation though, and given how WB has already moved the release date for this movie twice it's not that hard to believe. Until either WB say other wise it's not confirmed. If this does turn out to be true I bet TLG won't be very happy. They've already had to swap product ranges once due to this movie, and having to do it again must be frustrating. I'm sure TLG have the sets ready to go, but it would mean either creating a second wave or splitting the wave in two for both films.

Argos has started selling most of the 2015 sets. However they still haven't got their new catalogs out, so it would be wise to get the cat numbers of the website. Brickset have a page that links to every 2015 set at Argos if anyone struggles to find the sets online. Just picked up the Green lantern set from my nearest store.

Has anyone come across any problems with 76025 Green Lantern vs Sinestro? I just bought mine and I've been given the wrong part that goes on top of Sinestro's container. Instead of this piece in Yellow http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6536 I had this piece in yellow http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=43857 Has anyone else had this problem? Or am I just unlucky?

I like both the New 52 designs and all that's come before it and I like that there's a mix for everyone. But I certainly feel LEGO and DC could certainly try harder to complete the core JL in one variation before starting the other. I mean we started in 2012 with classic Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman then have us New 52 Aquaman and Flash. The designs of all those figures are fine but they look very mismatched when you have skin tight body suits of the classic outfits next to, highly detailed body armor of the New 52 versions. Maybe not so much with GL or Flash but New 52 batman looks crazy next to 2012 Robin.

Really hate to get involved in this argument between everyone, but to my knowledge it was a different member who lied about the Marvel sets. That user was legobatman55 who was banned, if you look at page 28 of the Marvel 2015 set discussion thread you'll see their posts where they lie, and their confession. Can we please just go back to talking about LEGO now? Right?........ok good. Looking at recent wave of sets it bugs me that LEGO aren't consistent with their Minifigure designs. Almost all of those characters are New 52 versions but Superman, Supergirl, MM, Brainiac, Grodd and Captain cold aren't. I don't really care about which version LEGO uses ( New 52, Pre 52 even bloody goldenage ) but it would be nice if all the figures were matching. Maybe do a wave of New 52 then, when LEGO has to double up on a figure then go classic or whatever.

It might be possible that TT games designed Croc that way to make the mouth easy to animate. Given the shape of his head and the size of his mouth, a printed mouth may have looked strange on the 3D game model. Plus in the game he's required to eat Robin and spit out some objects in a few of the cutscenes, so maybe they gave him a jaw in game to do this.

JLU is ok I read the first 4 issues and enjoyed it, I've decide to wait on the trade for it though. The rivalry between Animal man and Green Arrow is pretty funny and the Stargirl MM relationship is interesting. I felt the same way about Forever Evil when it was being released in singles, when you add it up with the Villains month issues and the few titles it took over ( JLA,JL, JD, suicide squad, Nightwing and Teen Titans) it certainly felt long. However I recently reread the main series in trade and it's perfect as a Graphic Novel. It's so much more fulfilling reading it in one go, I'd certainly recommend reading some of the tie ins like Rouges Rebellion. Earth 2 is pretty good but I've only read the first volume.

I haven't got round to reading Knightfall yet but Death in the Family is currently making it's way to me, through the UK postal force. But I understand your comments about artwork, for me it's a trial to get through Frank Millars artwork. Capullo's artwork is incredible and every batman story arc he draws feels unique. He's certainly one of the best artists working at DC at the moment.

I got into comics about 10 months into the New 52 and I personally think it's great. I was always put off from comics due to the large back catalogue. However the New 52 allowed me to jump on and in the past 3 years I've gone back and read a lot of the old stuff. I've read Flash Rebirth , Flash point, Hush, All Star Superman, Dark Knight Returns, Year one, Battle for the cowl, Killing Joke, Red son and a lot more which is all thanks to the New 52, it's the perfect gateway drug into comics. I'm slowly working my way through a lot of the New 52 but so far I've read: Batman 1-37 Nightwing 1-30 Batgirl 1-7 Batman and Robin 1-7, 18, 30-37 Justice League 1-37 Justice league of America Justice League United Superman Wonder Woman Green lantern Flash Aquaman SHAZAM Suicide Squad Green Arrow Green lantern corps Green lantern new guardians Superman/Wonderwoman And Action Comics. Most of which have been brilliant, is certainly recommend SHAZAM, Superman/Wonder Woman, Forever Evil, Aquaman and Suicide Squad. I get a lot of my books in trade from a few sellers on Amazon some of the bargains are too good to pass up on. I manga fed to get Earth 2 vol 1 for £3.80, and I usually manage to get the other books for about £6 each.

I honestly can't see us getting Stargirl or Vibe for quite a while. I think it's much more likely that we will get characters like SHAZAM and sidekicks like Kid Flash. No one outside of the comics really has clue who Vibe or Stargirl are, but the sidekicks have been getting a lot of exposure in the last few years. Young Justice and Teen Titans go have really pushed those characters forward.

If he was he would have special promo packaging like a Card or a complete blister box, such as the 2012 exclusives or the 2013/2014 exclusives. He also wouldn't be made from the cheaper Chinese plastic.

I was in the LEGO store at the weekend looking for minecraft sets, and a employee told me that they have discontinued all micro world sets. Instead they are just going to focus on the Minifigure scale ones from now on.
-
It's clearly either a DC Book, DVD or Blu ray, given the type of figure, type of blister packaging and the location it's produced in. There's 0% chance of anything else, it's certainly not a SDCC exclusive, a S@H promo, a mini figure cube, a Custom or part of a set.

I think he means that since have of the justice league can fly unaided (Green Lantern, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter and Hawkman ) and most of those can survive in Space ( can Hawkman survive in Space?) that they wouldn't need to use the Javlin. To be honest though the Javlin is pretty pointless anyway. Unless the Justice League is travelling through space, as none of the Justice League really need it. If the threat is on Earth then all those leaguers previously mentioned can just fly there, Aquaman can swim at hundreds of miles an hour, run pretty fast and leap entire buildings due to his legs. Flash can run there and Batman can just use the Batwing. Green Arrow could hitch a ride with Batman or be carried by Green Lantern. SHAZAM can fly and Cyborg can teleport if he has one of Darksieds motherboxes in him like in the New 52. In fact they can all just teleport from the Watchtower anyway, so it really seems ineeded. I know that 2 of the leaguers are billionaires ( 3 if your going of New 52 where Lex Luthor is now a member of JL ) but still seems like a waste of money, plus the amount of fuel that thing uses must make it a nightmare to maintain.

The SDCC figures are manufactured elsewhere in the world, you can tell when you bend there legs all the way back or rotate there arms forward. The SDCC figures, don't have square indentations on the inside of there arms or top of there legs, which means they are manufactured outside china. If I remember correctly a black printed square on the top of the torso indicates Denmark, but I'll have to check that. The stuff that comes from the China factory is either CMFs, extremely large unique parts ( like the JP dinos ) and parts that require a large amount of printing ( Super girl's legs ). On top of that it would require a lot of specialised machinery to create Blister packaging to that quality, you would need a mould for starters which isn't cheap. Lastly we only get between 500-1500 of each SDCC figure. It's such a small production run, that they wouldn't need to start producing them this far in advance. At the speed of Which LEGO 'a factories can produce mini-figures they could produce them around a month before. It would take LEGO around a day ( 2 at the most ) to make that many SDCC figures. Why would they be pumping them out in December? There's no question in my mind that this is a large production run intended to be included in a large batch of products like a DVD/book. There's no possible way on earth that figure is SDCC it's impossible when looking at all the facts.
-
That packaging is nothing like the packaging that LEGO uses for SDCC. The SDCC packaging is not only larger for the figure, but it's also larger so that LEGO can plaster Logos and text over it. The SDCC packaging is covered with colour and the word Exclusive and 1 of so many. This is the type of packaging that LEGO uses to insert into other companies products like Books and DVDs. It's small takes up as little space as possible as it's a by product, since the SDCC figures are the products themselves then they need to be Big and in your face.

Agreed these Super Jumpers must have clearly been in development for a year or so, so I'm extremely suprised LEGO didn't catch this.

Hi everyone, I've got a brand new Rocket Racoon PolyBag and I'm looking to trade it. The two items I'm looking for are either Superboy from the target exclusive Minifigure cubes, or Jor el PolyBag, I'd prefer the Superboy if possible. I'm located in the UK but shipping world wide isn't a problem for me. Send me a PM if interested, thanks Sam.

I managed to grab the Brainiac attacks set in my nearest LEGO store ( Milton Keynes UK ). They had completely sold out of Green Lantern vs Sinestro and the Javelin sets, but were confident they would get some in on the 13th of January. I mainly got the Brainiac attacks set simple because of it's exclusivity and not knowing which British retailer would have it. Is it a Target exclusive in the US? If so then I'm guessing it would either end up in TESCO or Smyths Toys. Since there's no Smyths Toys near me and I've been burned by there exclusivity before ( Doc Ocks Lab ) I couldn't take the chance. All in all it's a great set, a shame about getting the same Supes figure, but MM, Supergirl and Brainiac easily make up for it. The new capes are fine to me they certainly don't crease as easily and the flexibility in them looks a lot more natural. One problem I have notice is with the Superjumper. I have no inclin to use it ever but I though I'd see how well it works. Jumping wise it's fine and it launches pretty well, but the problem with it is that it chews Minifigure legs. I've got two lines running parallel down the back of his legs, and it chipped some of plastic off the bottom of the stud holes. It's also pretty difficult to remove from the bottom of the legs, I'm just happy that it chewed up Supes legs and no one else's as I can replace his easily. Have these jumpers chewed up anyone else's?
