  1. I used to flip through that 1993 catalog almost every single day when I was a kid, and I never noticed that frozen Blacktron figure. Weird.
  2. I just skimmed through it, and I must say...I'm out of my league! Seriously though, very creative. I wish I had the money to invest in something like this, and the ingenuity to bring it to life. I'll definitely use this as a guideline for the future castle custom I planning on doing, however I doubt if I'll be able to get them this detail.
  3. Dude...I'm so jealous of your Falcons army. They were always my favorites, although more times than they were the invading bad guys. I was lucky to have maybe 3 or 4 of these guys as a kid since I would usually get a set that contained one or two of them. I must ask how long it took for you to amass that many?
  4. Your staff is too big. You'll be digging in the wrong place.
  5. I'm amazed at the amount of innovation that goes on with you guys. Very impressed. I tried my hand at Digital Designer and could never do something like this.
  6. Maybe not a Christmas tie in, but I would love to see more holiday themed sets such as New Year's or Halloween, although I understand why they wouldn't be big sellers. I think the candy store idea is pretty good, especially if we get some new chocolate bar bricks.
  7. I know I'm late to the party, but I have to say that this is the most impressive custom I have seen. I really wish Lego would release something like this, I would easily pay $200+. Very nice job, I'm very envious.
  8. 6274 Caribbean Clipper 6271 Imperial Flagship 6286 Skull's Eye Schooner Originally, I just had the Clipper and the Schooner, however the Schooner was just too darn awesome to not pull double duty, so I added the Flagship attacking it from the other side.
  9. Hey guys, obviously new here. I've lurked for quite some time, however I figured I should eventually register and maybe get some insight and such. I've been building and collecting Legos since I was 7 or 8 and am now 26. The era in which I enjoyed the most was between 1989-1998, and usually stuck to Pirates, Space and the Wild West, although I did get some Castle sets later on. Some of my favorites sets include; Deep Freeze Defender, Black Knight's Castle, Ft. Legoredo and Skull's Eye Schooner. Around 1998, I felt I had "outgrown" Legos and they began to change drastically from what I grew up with. For several years, I basically ignored all the new stuff Lego was doing until I saw their modular Cafe Corner. I was in love. Not only did it retain a certain classic look, but the building had a backside! I couldn't resist the urge and took up building again. Along with the modulars, I also picked up that enormous Millennium Falcon, although due to the size and weight, I sort of regret it. As of right now, I've been contemplating doing some customs work after seeing a few castles I've seen on here, as well as an awesome modular Cinema/Diner that I would love to duplicate (if Lego never releases anything like it). Anyways, I hope to have some fun on here and learn and such.
