Guts briskly walks into the hall, and arbitrarily sits himself down next to a couple of other heroes. One of them wearing shades and a spiky haircut, speaking into a weird sort of dialect. "So, chap, you seem to be quite the... worldwise-kind of guy? Not?"

"You... Nerwen... This is.. You look very different actually.. Right, Nerwen. My, You. You look good, as I said. Hm. Uhm, there's is this thing they do every year around this time of Fall, in Triad park, there is music, food, and things like that... Would you like to go, could be a good diversion, there's no quests around anyway."

"Hmmm. Hmmm. I see. I'm not sure it is what I'm after, to be honest. How would it fare against a charging bull, you think?" Guts looks in confusion from the note to Arthur and back, decides it's best not question those confused with themselves, and hands Arthur the items. The former raider sits back as he waits for his business to continue, but something causes him to pause. He distractedly throws 150 gold at Matthias for the axe and gets up. The alchemist stops in front of a figure in a blue dress, glittering with sparkles. Guts clears his throat, and speaks, in a voice a bit different than usual: "Stars are shining indeed, for causing us two to meet. New here? I'm Guts, but don't let the name scare you. What's your name, beautiful princess?"

"That's not saying much, runt." Guts winks. The Alchemist also puts up a notice on the Questboard: LOOKING FOR GOOD QUALITY AXE Must be sufficient for all chopping needs, logs, limbs etc. Contact Guts Holla.

"Dyric. Words cut as hard as swords sometimes, you hurt my feelings implying I am a violent person." Guts says in jest.

"Hm. I'll let you know, there should be a way we can both benefit with that perk of yours, surely." Guts slaps Pretzel on the back. "Raiding, never really liked that term, if you call going around slashing and smashing and taking raiding, sure, but you know... Let's just say... Alchemy is way more... fun. There's exciting potions, the occasional explosion... I like it."

Ah, that is kind of disappointing. This deal was literally 5 months in the works. I'll deal with it though. Thanks for the heads-up!

"Explain yourself? That sounds like something I would be interested in."

"You must be talking of my alchemical compounds. I've got enough to mix up whatever I come up with when needed."

"Fenral? I give you 200 gold for that small axe."

"Alright then. Just don't spend all of it on propaganda, will you?" Guts hands over the gold. and starts sharpening immediately.

Guts signs up for Quest 119.

This year, I won't ask for a lot. All I want is the world, and a throne to rule it from, maybe some carrots...

"We are all villains in someone's eyes anyway, Arthur. Do you ever think of how many women, children we leave behind on their own. How many sons will swear to strike the evil 'Heroes' down? How many daughters vow to murder us in our sleep?"

Pff, that's what he thinks.

Guts has a wild past, who knows how many bastards he has walking around?

Guts shrugs. "The Alchemists are scholars first, fighters second. They probably want Heroica because we are good at what we do. But then again, they have a reason for not sending their own people. It's well I have not unlearned ALL the tricks of my previous trade." Guts grins. "Whatever the case may be, this quest would be a good oppertunity to fight alongside each other again. The others I've adventured with are skilled and able, but they just don't seem to be quite as good as you."

"..So... The imps, your people. Are enslaved, captured, by demons or something? And here I thought you were demons. You've got the black skin and burning eyes to pass for them... If you ever need help in saving your people. I am willing. "

"Hm. So your people... They are underground, like you thought?"

"What is it you have learned about yourself?" Guts asked, choosing to ignore the imp's remark.

"Hybros... Has it been that long? I don't know, I've just come back from a job, which was more involved than I was prepared for. But you know me, we did it." Guts stares blankly in front of him for a while, then asks the imp: "What about you?"

Are Thormanil and Hoke really the only two to claim a dragon? You'd think there'd be more...

"Sounds good." Guts counts out, then hands Erik the gold.
