  1. I don't know what that means.
  2. At least Guts is up front about his baldness.
  3. Wow. What if, those are all just Boomingham's descendants.
  4. Boomingham as a swashbuckler... I am feeling this head is overused...
  5. Yeah... I saw people looking so I just hit post as quickly as I could.
  6. I'm also interested in Alamut.
  7. Sorcerer is arguably more focussed on farming gold, as they don't actually kill the enemies when they take gold.
  8. The raider grins: "Hmm, don't confuse a willingness to sacrifice oneself for the sake of others, with disregard for your own life. And that's easy for you to say, you can charge into a horde of enemies and you wouldn't feel a thing. That reminds me... I think I have discovered something, although I need some very strong painkillers and a cleric before I will try it out..." Guts raises an eyebrow mysteriously, then empties his bottle. Almost thoughtlessly, he turned his head towards the Questing Board. It was about time they did something once more. The comforts of the hall... didn't quite cut it, compared to getting out there again.
  9. Thanks Rumble! Very interesting, and great idea for these types of thing, Skyrimguy!
  10. Haldor Skovgaard Haldor is a very interesting character I think. From the cold north, at the same time he does, and he does not adhere to the stereotypical "Nord" type. Haldor is very proud and honorable, mostly, but he is also a forgiving and warm person. I think Haldor's loyalty is mostly with his friends, his fellow heroes. His run-in with the gnome girl while he had a relationship with Jess, and the subsequent things that happened around that is still one of the funniest things to happen in Heroica. Over time, he has changed from the exiled cleric, to a strong shaman that knows what he wants, and who he is.
  11. Pfff. Nerwen didn't even seem interested in it, and now she wants to use it to smuggle? Fine... As long as those thugs swear loyalty to Guts. Wow. They could be his militia.
  12. He obviously wobbled from side to side until he fell down, then cut the rope by some conveniently nearby sharp metal. I don't know. Magic?
  13. Drake broke the doors, remember. Is it too far fetched to think that Drake is just constantly on drugs? It would explain a lot...
  14. Sure there are ways to do it, but it's mean to your QM. So... Don't try to do it.
  15. The raider grins: "I guess it's up to us then. Whatever you do, do it right. We show everyone what it means to be big damn heroes, everywhere we go." The raider turns his head: "Hm, I still don't feel comfortable calling myself a "hero", we're sellswords. Good ones, but still."
  16. "Aye, I heard something like that was going on. I doubt Captain Patricia would approve something as dangerous like that, but perhaps she used it to spring a trap on the criminals. As for the veterans... I met all six. You know the Copper Fox. He claims to have been a travelling performer before he became Heroica's instructor. Kulkulkan, the Orcish Shaman. He is fighting for freedom of greenskins, or something like that. Personally, I do not notice racism going on, but if it were my people, I would fight for that too, I think. It's funny, just a week's sailing from here is Strivvi... The Orcish Invasion never reached the content of Abra, and Orcs, Humans live in harmony, for how much that is possible. Perhaps it's easy being human, we outnumber every other race. No one's gonna dare oppress us." The raider shrugged, and continued: "There is the Dragonlord, Cain Tiamateus. Ancestor to one of the legendary heroes. A Dastanian Dragoon, who keeps a dragon, locked beneath Eubric. I'm not a fan of dragons, seen too many good people die by them, but to keep such a creature in the dark, where it can not spread it's wings and do what it is meant to do, fly... It seems wrong. Just wrong. There is the Oracle Serimames, the Sand Queen. She gave me a prophecy, that I would find the right path through pain. Nonsense. There is the Norn, whose name I can not pronounce. She calls herself the Valkyrie. She tries hard for her people, but she seems cold as well. Perhaps it's her nature, but I am wary of her. I think she would kill anyone who'd stand in her way, be it man, woman or child. Lastly... There is the Falconer. Hestia Bonaparte. I'd say she's the one I think the highest of, although she is effectively in two positions of power, can't be easy... The veterans seem mostly tied up in their own problems. I have never noticed a grain of leadership from their part. When the time comes, I hope they will take charge, and be effective in doing it. So far, I'm unimpressed."
  17. Guts was about to take a sip, but instead puts the bottle back down. "So, that's how far it has gotten... Anyone who thinks, let alone says that is a fool. I'll be honest, I don't think highly of Heroica, but I doubt the veterans would allow such idiots to remain in the ranks. They are going against what Heroica was created for, protecting Eubric... Anyone that calls themselves a "Hero" and works with the Wolfgang is a criminal in my book."
  18. Oh, I see. Carry on.
  19. Wait, you just dropped a whole mythril?
  20. "As long as it will not be the end of Eubric. Good to have you on my side, then."
  21. Guts nodded: "Yes.That succeeded, so at least that some good news. But you understand where I am going with this. Eubric is spinning out of control. Should something happen, there need to be people ready to get the city back on it's feet as quickly as possible... Docken, we've fought together, you know we make a good team. You'd be a valuable asset."
  22. The raider shakes his head, annoyed, Docken brought someone else in the conversation. "I don't know what you are talking about. Raider, Black Knight...? Anyway, there's something I wanted to ask you..." Quietly, so others couldn't hear him, he said: "What do you think about the state of the hall, about the Houses?"
  23. I'm more impressed by the PS4 than by the Xbox One (stupid name). I should say I own and play on an Xbox 360 since it came out. The used games fee is not consumer friendly and a perfect way to alienate your customers. For me it basically means I can't lend and borrow games with my friends. Kinect is completely uninteresting to me (you're telling me it will actually work well, yeah right). The whole TV thing they went on about seems useless as well, I have a remote, why would I need an Xbox to do stuff with it? There just doesn't seem to be a reason to have an Xbox One. In my mind the Xbox 360 got so popular because of three things: more games, cheaper, better network. They don't seem to hold those cards this time around. Playstation Network works well now and is free, and is going to continue to be free. Playstation Plus is paid and is amazing. Xbox Live is more expensive than Playstation Plus, but it's only to be able to play online, no free games. Xbox One showed NO game footage, announced no games.... Yeah. For now, either I'm getting neither, or a PS4. That sounds like nonsense to me. I can't imagine that is true.
