The raider mumbled something along the lines of: "It's captain Guts." And then followed the woman, they hadn't been in this part of the manor, as far as Guts remembered. His memories from then were pretty foggy. The machine they used to travel inside Guffy's mind had caused that, the raider thought. While walking, Guts asked: "How did you meet Guffington, if I may ask?"

The raider smirked, then smiled sadly, and answered: "I am not. I was born in the rubble between salt and sand. A Strivvian street rat. It's hard to explain why I like this wine, but it's not as filthy as the beer that is brewed from water of Eubric's canals, and not as strong so that it does not quench the thirst. Charissian Red is simply the best quality wine around."

Guts taps his forehead for a manner of greeting and unties one of the two bottles of Charissian Red he brought from the hall from his belt, and hands it to Guffington. As he looks away, he mumbles that it is customary to bring a gift to a host of a party. He then turns his head to the Selkreeth, and bows his head slightly. "A pleasure indeed, I am Captain Holla." Selkreeth. Naturally dangerous because of their fangs and toxic skin, as well as tentacles that could break human bones with ease. You wouldn´t expect it, but these squid-like creatures were vicious killers.

I'm not so impressed - I mentioned to Pandora I wasn't amazingly impressed with something, I can't remember what . This followed.

The raider looks at the familiar courtyard, then leans against one of the trees, and proceeds to fumble with the straps on his armour and coat.

Awesome initiative, Sandy. I would love to see a picture of Dak, Nerwen, Sarick and Guts hanging out, and one of Guts, carrying bottles of wine, running away from Scheherazade.

"Lead on. So who is coming to this 'party'? Anyone I would or should know?"

The raider sighs: "Just step aside. Think of it this way, if you're not allowed in, at least they can't blame you if anything goes wrong."

The raider looked in front of him and gnashed his teeth, the warden was at it again. Lucky, Warden, Aura? What was this guy on about now? "...Right. Whatever works for you."

The raider simply nods as Guffington's servant greets them, then asks bluntly: "What sort of trouble?" While walking, Guts immediately downs a Mead, Smelling Salts, and Nostrum, and applies Deadly Venom to his weapon. He also rummages through his pack for a bit, and eventually tosses a Nostrum to Docken, a Mead to Hybros, and takes out his Scroll of Weakening, another Mead, a Smelling Salts and another Nostrum that he holds out front of Nyx. "You might find these useful."

Okay, let's assume Karie will make a move, like try to kill Patricia, Patricia would sidestep, hit her over the head, throw her out of the building and have her fail the quest.

It will, since she won't be making an appearance in Quest 70.

She won't be doing any of that. It doesn't work like: "Oh, I want this person to appear."

In none, that I am aware off. In 70 the lieutenant just looks like her. If Sandy wanted to kill her off, and I think he'd be the only one making that decision , he would contact me first, I hope.

You're speculating over what would happen, but it would never happen. If an NPC can/will die in a quest, I'm sure the people responsible make sure they are not in other quests at that moment.

Patricia is not going to die unless I say so and is not going to be in a quest unless I say so, so it doesn't matter.

Guts walks back into the hall, in armour, and ready to go. The raider raised an eyebrow when he saw that he was chosen, unsurprisingly, but that Hybros was appointed as Leader. Not that it would matter. The Imp was capable, so Guts was sure he would do a fine job. Before joining the people he would be on the quest with, the raider ordered two bottles of Charissian Red, corked.

Guts stops by Portia's shack, and buys 1 Ambrosia, 3 x Nostrum, 3 x Smelling Salts and 3 x Mead (65+105+75+45 = 290, 627-290=337), he then stops by Anwyl's where he has Lifestealer upgraded to WP: 29 (337-290=47).

I'm back home! The event was great, it was awesome meeting everyone! Great job to the ones thar organized everything! I will definitely try to go next year. -

"There are people like that, but do not strive to be one. I do not wish a weapon for a companion. Make your own choices, do what you must. But don't deny me my right to be wary those that use magic. Too many times my suspicions have been right." With that, the Raider goes downstairs, writes Nyx name next to his sign up on the board, for what good it would do, and then leaves the Hall. He had some things to take care of.

I live in a teeny tiny country, so big compared to that, I guess. Honestly, that just sounds inconvenient more than anything else.

They're male dancing shoes. I think. Also, I've played Guts as average, which among big burly heroes, is probably a bit shorter than average. Thanks! Where in Europe, if I may ask, it's kinda big.
