  1. On the topic of characters not feeling like... well, characters, Stringer doesn't really feel like he's a real character in the TV series. He just feels like he has no personality and he's just a cowboy, nothing more to it (and he also happens to have at one point herded cattle). Breez and Stringer just feel like living stereotypes, and I really hope something is done in the TV series about it. Now, I never saw The Enemy Within all the way through (watched the first five minutes or so at a friend's house, then stopped paying attention), so I don't know if Stringer or Breez really got anything important character-wise in that. To me, Stringer's rookie-friendly and music-loving attitude wasn't really showing at all.
  2. I can only hope this doesn't turn into an all-out flame war... What I really don't understand is that in the Hero Factory FM, Breez said that she and the other female heroes are treated as equals by everyone else. Looks like women, even robot women, are equal to their male counterparts in the future. Then, out of nowhere in Ordeal of Fire, Breez devolves into a feminist stereotype, ranting about how she isn't girly and she can stand for herself, when to me it was already implied that everyone else knew that, because women are equal.
  3. A couple questions: first off, is Garmadon's skin color before his banishment Cool Yellow? Second, the six next mini-movies are not going to be online, and instead will be aired on Cartoon Network, correct? If so, do we have any idea when the first one premieres?
  4. Pretty sure it's the mask from Tarduk, an Agori from the first half of 2009.
  5. Can't wait for the review, it should offer some great insight into the Ninjago story line, which I personally find a bit confusing. Speaking of tidbits of Ninjago information that are not widely known, the LEGO Universe MMO recently had a massive Ninjago update which added a new world themed around it. It appears that after the recovery of the Golden Weapons and the demise of Samukai, Garmadon sent Nuckal and his army to the planet LEGO Universe takes place on, the fragmented world of Crux. The skeletons intend to use the power of a chaotic force known as the Maelstrom, located at Crux, to defeat Sensei Wu and his ninja students. The skeleton soldiers at the new Ninjago Monastery world are all armed with tainted weaponry forged from Maelstrom crystals, which are apparently very deadly to the people of planet Ninjago. The Nexus Force, the good guys of LEGO Universe, has been deployed to take down the army of skeleton warriors who are trying to claim the Golden Weapons once again. I believe that this is going to be turned into an official "transition" phase between the 2011 and 2012 Ninjago story lines, at least, it will be once the third Ninjago update comes to the game. Just figured you guys who are interested in the story should know.
  6. OK, so we have dark azure, lime, white, and possibly dark red? I don't know, looks like regular bright red on Black Phantom and Jawblade for their beam pieces.
  7. Wonderful upgrade. The legs look a little awkward on the hip area though, maybe just from the positioning they're in. I don't know, they just look a little too close together. However, that barely detracts from this MOC.
  8. If Splitface's face is two pieces that attach down the middle, that means... He has a Glatorian head. Great. :| I was really hoping LEGO would rely more on the 2.0 head piece. Also, four "beam" colors. I'm going to assume that two of them are dark azure and lime green... can't imagine what the others are going to be though! Only other colors I can spot for the beam/bone pieces are red, black and dark stone gray.
