I live in Surrey where the worst of the snow has been! We had around 12" of snow . School was cancelled yesterday and today.

Arghh, my eyes they burn!! Well that was my initial reaction, but since then the R29 seems to look better and better the more I see of it. Who cares if people think it is the ugly duckling, because I reckon it is gonna be a quick duckling! Not to sure on the colours though, I liked the nice blue colour scheme they used from 02-06.

The poll options made me laugh! The review was okay too! I actually have this set, so I feel compelled to comment on at least one of the thousand 7668 reviews. The set is merely figure set, the ship itself is pathetic! Also the bloomin' Rebels helmets don't stay on the minifig heads properly, they are always a bit to loose. Maybe I am just to fussy and should go back to Call Of Duty.

Thanks for the great pic Kimt! Its just a shame the ferrari looks awful form every other angle. I'm personally looking forward to the Force India launch! Roll on early March! @fugglewyg, the rear wing actually is tiny from which ever way you look at it.

The pictures are far too big, try checking out the handy tutorial here on EB on how to resize pics then we can see your MOC in all its glory.

Mine has been updated using the best Photo editing software around - MSPaint!

Merry Christmas everyone, have a wonderful day and receive much Lego!
-
That is very impressive, I must say! I like the legs too, and the head is especially good as well. I think the arms are a bit to spindly perhaps, though I can't really think of way to solve that. The normal minifig being held by the large one is cool!

Well I went to my local Woollies, which usually is very well stocked on Lego yesterday. Unfortunately their were only 2 different sets on sale, the V-19 torrent, which I didn't like the look of, and 8117 Storm Lasher, that cool Exo force set I've been meaning to buy for a while. The box looked a bit battered so I was a bit doubtful, however when I found out it had been reduced form £15 to £11 I bought it. I suppose it is still possible to get Lego bargains in Woolworths if you go soon. Funnily enough, out of the whole store the Lego shelves were the only shelves that were empty, everything else was well stocked. Perhaps Lego has recalled their sets from Woollies?
-
Why, may I ask? Woolworths has been going for over 100 years, it will be sad to see them go. Also think of all the job losses.
-
Well with Woolworths collapsing, odds are that they are going to sell off all their remaining stock at cheap prices, in an attempt to pay the creditors, so I reckon that really cheap Lego is coming soon, with over 50 percent off hopefully! Although Woolies is the only Lego shop near me so it is quite annoying that it will close.

Sign me up, Cap'n!

Thanks people! Or do I mean Goo-goo ga-ga? I don't remember putting my age down as 1, I'll change that one day. I did actually get some Lego for my birthday which was nice.

That rather spiffing Droid Gunship! Well I haven't built it yet, but I will do soon. Plus it comes with an extra droid, seeing how the gunship can pilot itself.

Oh, I thought my oven chips reference was subtle.
-
Meh. I am quite happy, though I have two tests tomorrow one in Science and one in Maths. Oh and I wanted Oven chips to win that certain competition that occurred over the pond last night.

Yes! +1 to Great Britain!! Congrats to Lewis Hamilton! What an exciting race, overtaking Glock on the last corner. And Fisico was running in fifth at one point until a clutch problem buggered up his race. Sigh.....

I might change my avatar to something spooky, but aside from that nothing. Halloween isn't celebrated a great deal here in the UK, its just another way for big shops to sell you more rubbish. (spooky rubbish of course) :skull:
-
YESSSS! Go Hamilton! What a fantastic drive, Lewis was on top for all the weekend and deserved the win, I ma just glad that he did not make any stupid mistakes this time. let's hope their are no mess ups in Brazil. BTW who is Hinki? Did you mean Heikki?
-
Massa and Hamilton acted like amateurs on Sunday, not potential world champions! Anyway congrats to Alonso, but I am annoyed the Force India's both DNF'd.... I can't wait for the next grand prix, I want Hamilton to win!!

Classic? Bionicle was only released in 2001! In my opinion, The Dark Shark has to be the best set TLG has made, It is wonderfully detailed, it has great minifigs, its huge, the list could go on and on!

Jerk it out By the Caesers. A great song, first found it on the Xbox game SSX 3

Sounds like a great idea, I don't want to do it personally, for I always end up as a rambling idiot when ever theirs mic or interviewer involved! also people often make fun of my voice, I hate hearing it played back over a mic.

The one I bought off ebay was very cheap only £25 ($50 at the time), however despite the fact it claimed to be 100 % it was missing 3 or 4 bits. So be ready to expect a few pieces missing here or their when you buy off Flea bay. Still it is a great set!

This is my kind of thread! Though I can't help but think it might be locked!
